j1mmy: Another IGBO drud dealer perhaps. It was in fact the IGBO drug dealing in South Africa that was one of the main reasons for the xenophobia. Most South Africans I chatted to there kept going on about drug dealing Nigerians and some actually say drug dealing Igbo fake-shop owners. they run small shops to cover there dirty deals of drugs |

CAMNEWTON4PRES: how do you know the killers are south Africans .
Most of the time such crimes are committed by Nigerians themselves, in fact in most cases foreign nationals deaths are cause by their own countrymen, when they say businessman. What was his business? The article said they didn't take anything, so this was an assassination, probably gang related 1000likes |

lezz: south africa do not favour African investors to come to S.A.
As a matter of fact the Obasanjo administration literally took Oando and Dangote to S.A and threaten if S.A do not allow these investors S.A firms will face hard times in Nigeria.
AS OF APRIL 21st 2015, S.A HAS 7 BILLIONAIRES AND PATRICE MOTSEPE IS THE ONLY BLACK S.A BILLIONAIRE.
or maybe another billionare sprang up within the month. let me tell you billionaires are being asked to be listed by Forbes so other people don't want to be listed. Even Forbes talked about this that the number of black billionaires that are not listed on Forbes is high than the number of black listed and the is due to the money gained through corruption so they don't want to be exposed....let me ask this don't you think that Jonathan is a billionaire and if so why his not listed or obasanjo. |

I grow up in the village were I've seen my neighbour being a security at Pick n Pay door and 5years on the line she became a million with security company with over 50 cars for security watch out and being awarded an award of a business woman of year..... What I told myself is that I can do it too, now I'm owning my construction company which the government helped me with funds including workshops and trainings and money to buy equipments the problem is I'm busy with my operations management diploma so the growing process its still slowly so I'm only dealing with subcontracts not big projects because they will want my 100% focus |

lezz: It is called protection of local industry.
countries all over the world have areas where they do not give licence to foreigners to operate. like Mzilikazi said foreigners can't buy shares in mtn south africa.
still Nigeria is a big and huge country with many local players. dominating here and 15 other African countries is no small feat. it amounted to visionary and business acumen. but non the less those are people we look too as our mentors |

dangote is Africa's richest man by a long stretch and a private individual who has investments in 16 african countries.
he invested a record sum into south african economy and he is also the richest black man on earth.
His is not BBE. It is hard work and shrewdness. you should cheer him too. he entered the south African market because the PIC own a share on dangote cement google if you like and for the record Patrice Motsepe his not the only black south African billionaires....the is someone by the name of Khulubuse Zuma he bought a land between Congo/Angola that cost $10billion you can google if you want. |

There are things that media don't talk about wen they talk about the black south African improvements after apartheid. Let me start with the number of millionaires. it took 300years for white south Africans to have 35000 millionaires but it took 20years for black South Africans to have 7000 millionaire make the calculations to check the ratio rate of growth a year comparing the two. Business 1) the biggest IT company in Africa by the name of GIJIMA, is own by a black south African the GUMEDE GROUP (2) 90% of the Mc Donald south African (franchise) is black south African own (3) 75% of KFC (franchise) is black south African own the list is endless I will continue wen I have time |

lezz: your friend mzilikazi didn't mention S.A government as part of mtn owners.
he said they are owned by the public and private tycoons of business. if he or you had mentioned S.A government the argument on mtn wont linger . all the companies that are in Nigeria from south Africa is either the company is black own or is complying with the BEE and what would those companies benefit from that, they benefit the governmental watch out, which is the governments protection, political and financial.....political you find that the legislation always favours them and financial you find that most of the tenders are given to them so those companies enjoy the BEE example Naspers is the own of pay TV and DSTV they are the members of BEE were almost 30% shares are black own which 15% of them are run by PIC, so they benefit this way, they have the support from government they have the rights to broadcast SABC channels including the two new channels. |

lezz: good to knew we are now on first name basis.
so in all your years of schooling, you wish to convince me of the ownership of mtn by telling me her Chief executive officer is black ?
funny, funny , funny. MTN is a public liability company open to the public to buy shares. that's why you cant put a name to its owner like shoprite, or dstv.
and since you guys are wallowing at the bottom of the economic pool, it is safe to conclude the anglo-dutch, your overlords bought all the shares. let me teach you a bit MTN is a state own public company that started operating after 1994 that is run by (PIC) in full Public Investment Corporation, the state own 50% through PIC and TELKOM and the remaining shares are in hands of BEE, AA and BBBEE which are black pension funds holdings, black own companies like SHANDUKA they also came to buy shares on MTN nigeria and the are there shares are own buy management. Same applies to VODACOM that was fund by the state own entity TELKOM and sold 50% to VODAFONE and later on TELKOM listed their 15% to the public |

all4naija: I think the Equatorial Guinean police use unnecessary excessive force there. If that is how they treat people it means there must be something wrong with that society. I don't see anything interesting in that nation though. The oil and gas there are largely in the Nigerian territorial water. We can easily punish them. who are you talking because what you are tell me is not near my comment above!...or maybe you are high on something or just received a kick from Equatorial Guineas |

all4naija: We turn a blind eye to what the Equatorial Guinean police did because the people of that nation are still learning to get civilized from their primitiveness. They think doing that would make us react bad, invade their country and take them prisoners so that the superpowers of the world can blame us. We aren't going to do that and we can only dialogue with them and let them understand that is not how to live like 21st century human beings. You need to know that we got swag like the almighty USA! Hahaha... what about Malaysia, Indonesia, China, India ain't civilised nations too because they know how to kick Nigerians very painfully....by the way give the word (PRIMITVE) a break!!! |

You don't retaliate with dangerous actions on primitive humans. We are people destined for civilized life. Nigeria is working to get organized and live a civilized life. We aren't Zulus who go about carrying spear, machetes, clubs, etc in anger killing other fellow human beings like barbarians. Do you expect Nigerians to behave in the same way? We are better than that! Jeez! Shame on you. Nigerians working together, Nigerians destined for civilised life You better be joking with tribal wars that are taking place we even experience that on nairaland igbos going head to head with yurobas lolest fighting for crazy things and DUMMY things |
