HealthWhat You Should Know About Introverted Uterus. by Vanije(op): 10:15am On Feb 23, 2015
A uterus is the pear-shaped organ where the foetus grows- it is present in every woman of child-bearing age. The uterus is normally supposed to be in a straight vertical position.

However, an introverted uterus however is an abnormal gynecological condition where the uterus is positioned toward the back of the pelvis or spine. That is, it points inward instead of pointing out.

While the cervix(which is the opening of the uterus )remains in position, the actual ‘body’ of the uterus lies unusually

**OTHER MEDICAL LANGUAGES STILL REFERRING TO THIS CONDITION ARE:**

Retroflexed uterus

Tilted uterus

Backward uterus

Retroverted uterus

Tilted womb

Uterine retroversion

Uterine retroflexion

Retroversion of the uterus

Symptomatic uterine retroversion

Symptomatic uterine retroflexion

Uterine retrodisplacement

Reflexion of the uterus

So, when your doctors says any of those, it still refers to the condition described in the introduction...

**NOW, WHAT ACTUALLY CAUSES AN INTROVERTED UTERUS?**

*Childbirth: If the ligaments holding the uterus in place stretch, or lose their tension during pregnancy, the uterus can become tipped.

*As a woman matures too, the uterus may not move into a forward position.

*Scarring from surgical adhesions of endometriosis or fibroid can also cause the uterus to shift to a retroflexed state.

It's advisable you take fruits if eating late at night is inevitable, it gives your body less bulk. You should give at least 2-3 hours after eating for digestion to take place.

HealthThese Are The Dangers Of Eating Late At Night by Vanije(op): 10:28pm On Feb 18, 2015
In the traditional African setting, our fore fathers considered it a taboo for a woman to enter into her kitchen in the night. They probably knew little about the positive impact that this age- long practice had on their health,

However today those values have been exchanged and most people no longer see any health implications in taking dinner at night.

Today we shall be discussing at least 3 crucial consequences of having a late evening meal.

1 It stresses your digestive system

2 It disorganizes your automatic nervous system

3 Leads to weight gain and possible obesity

Stresses Your digestive system: Your digestive system is supposed to be relaxing at night time, performing lesser activities. However eating late at night is like adding an extra load in the system which could cause break down.

This is why some experience heaviness in the morning or too much toilet trips at night. It reason one may wake up on a bright morning and feel like he worked in a farm throughout the night.

Disorganizes Your Nervous System: Under normal conditions, what is called the Sympathetic Nervous System(SNS) puts your body in an energy spending active mode during the day.

And during the night, what is also known as the Parasym....

You don't need to I've been there
You haven't. I'm sure you haven't. And I want to prove to you that you haven't. Well, in a rare way.

So if you concur, let's strike the deal this way:

If after your attendance and survey of the event, you believe you gained nothing for the day and it has been useless effort, I'd personally pay you for sitting per 30minutes.

For every 'wasted' 30 minutes you spend,I'd pay you a thousand naira.

I'm not saying you need my bucks but it's just to show you in practical terms why I'm convinced you haven't.

You don't need to bother about whose trouser to hold 'cause you'd see me there & I'd show up to welcome you.

Vaginal discharge is normal in every woman in her reproductive years. It is the body's way of flushing out dead cells and bacteria from the vagina and cervix.

The consistency/amount, colour and odour of discharge varies depending on the period. For example, a woman who is ovulating or lactating is more likely to discharge more. And a woman who is pregnant or less concerned about hygiene may notice a different odour in the discharge.

However, the breaking point or cause for alarm is when the discharge becomes significantly unusual either in odour or colour or accompanied by pain, fever, weight loss, increased urination, tiredness.

It is important to be highly observant of your vaginal discharge as to the colour and what it means. Doing this early enough may allay any infection or vaginal disease that may be present. Remember, Delay is dangerous. Highly dangerous to your health.

CONDITIONS/INFECTIONS THAT AN ABNORMAL DISCHARGE MAY BE POINTING TO:

Yeast infection

Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD)

Cervical cancer

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

How A bulky Uterus Affects Chances of having A baby,: http://www.trendyhealthworld.com/bulky-uterus-and-your-chances-of-having-a-baby/

HealthHow A Bulky Uterus Affects Your Chances Of Having A Baby by Vanije(op): 6:47pm On Jan 27, 2015
A bulky uterus an abnormal condition that is also called adenomyosis, occurs when the endometrial lining grows into the muscle of the uterus. Women who have children and are over 30 have a higher probability to develop this condition.

Although the exact cause of bulky uterus is not known, however it may be caused by caesarian section or the growth of endometrial cells in the uterus when the woman was a foetus

Adenomyosis is a life threatening disease as it causes damage to the uterus and may lead to a miscarriage or alter the growth of your baby.

As adenomyosis spreads into the myometrium of the uterus, monthly bleeding actually damages the individual uterine cells.

These muscle cells over time lose their ability to stretch and contract. So when a conception occurs and the foetus begins to the grow, the uterus can only stretch so far before it can no longer hold the pregnancy: an immediate miscarriage or uterine rupture occurs

HealthRe: I Need Help, My Mom Is Down With Stroke by Vanije:
delishpot:
Oh, ok. But what I meant was, do people believe stroke starts from the bone? As in stroke is not as a result of bone problem but rather bone problem starts as a result of stroke.
Yes, that's it.
Though it's true that people believe so
but what they do not know is Stroke concerns the brains & blood circulation. And in later stages may affect the bones depending on the length of time of the attack.

That reminds me: @Terry91, has your mum ever taken Ganoderma?
That basically one of the most powerful natural brain food I've known. She ought to be on it if she isn't.
HealthRe: I Need Help, My Mom Is Down With Stroke by Vanije: 11:12pm On Jan 11, 2015
delishpot:
Do people assume stroke has to do with bones?
OP, just watch what you give to mama I beg you. Watch the herbs and watch the meds. Please dont destroy her kidneys in the search for cure.
I am talking from experience here. My dad surffered from stroke and even though we lost the battle I learnt some simple rules to follow when caring for such patient.
1 do not run from church to church it will only make you feel like God hates you and make you doubt your faith if it doesnt work out as you planned. Besides most of these pastors do fake miracles so you may be disapointed when and after you visit them. Its God that heals not pastors.
2 Do not try every herb people recomend to you. It may end up doing more harm than good
3 Try to massage and move the patient on their bed as it helps blood flow(its not because I think stroke is in the bone) because if this is not done, blood supply may diminish and cause the body to have bed sore which in itself is bad
4 make the environment nice and peaceful and show care to mama so she can have time to recover
5 sunshine is good medicine. Help her sit in a shade and take fresh air if she doesnt mind. It helps her look forward to a new day
6 Make a time table for family and friends who are willib to care for her. So each one of you have some time off to yourselves

All in all, Try to calm down, life is full of ups and downs, no ones life is in your hands. Do your BEST to make her happy and feel loved. Be sure about a doctor be it modern or trado before exposing your mom to them.
Wishing you all the best.
From the cases I've witnessed, Stroke most times leads to bone loss or osteoporosis.

The extent of bone loss
experienced by people with stroke depends on the length of time they are unable to move &
the extent of muscle weakness basically.

So There's a relationship between stroke and bone(bone loss especially).

Hello nairalander's! Please I need your help, my mom has been down with stroke for 2yrs now and her situation seems to b getting worse! I want to use this medium to plead with you, my brothers and sisters to please help me if you know someone that can help me! Am miserable cos of my mom's ill health, she's the best thing that has EVER happened to me! Am not sayin am rich or have a lot of money, am jst a young man trying to survive and build a legacy, but money is not the problem, I jst want someone with solutions to my mom's ill health! I will do anything to see my mom on her feet, laughin, and having jokes with me the way she used too... I write this with tear filled eyes! Pls help me, PLS!!!! In the name of God,
So sorry about the situation Terry. Hope she's minding her diet?
I have a herbal kit I've tried successfully on my stroke patients, I hope it helps mama too.

Stroke essentially has to do with supply of blood to the brain. When supply is insufficient, it causes some electrical discharge in the body that destabilises a person.
What symptoms & have you done a scan as someone suggested?

Been married for 5 years now. Before I got married, I did all fertility tests with my hubby including HSG and they all came out clean. A year after I got married and didn't conceive, my gynae asked me to repeat all my tests including HSG and they were all ok and my case was classified as unexplained infertility. Two weeks after repeating the HSG at a popular diagnostic center on Ligali Ayorinde, VI, I was rushed to the clinic due to severe stomach cramps and after series of tests, I was placed on anti biotics with no real explainations as to what could have caused the excess abdominal fluids I had in my abdomen. some months later, I was asked to do Laparoscopy and behold my tubes were blocked. After deep investigation into my case by experts it was discovered that the rusty instruments used for the last HSG caused the damage.I actually saw those instruments before the tests but the radiologist assured me its no big deal cos the instruments are sterilized. Today I'm left with blocked tubes and really don't know what to do since IVF@4 attempts too has not worked for me.
I've discussed removing my tubes with both my Gynae and Hubby but non of them wants to hear of it since I'm still in my early 30s. Is there anyone with similiar problem who was able to concieve either naturally or through IVF in this forum? I'm really desperate now as my home is gradually hitting the rocks. I'v heard of fellopio and other herbal remedies used for opening the tubes, has any one used them before? Please honest advice only.
@Rust2000 How far with the issue now?

I actually took the suggestion into consideration. However I was not convinced you would want to disclose certain information which would I would require i.e size, occurrence of heavy flow, a recent scan etc.

Moreover, and as part of our ethics-I'm used to personal chats with my fibroid patients in consideration of those who may want to be discreet about their condition.

I've treated several fibroid patients with positive results and currently on a case with a lady in London.

If anyone wants a dialogue publicly, it's fine by me as long as you're comfortable with it.
