They should build a better road network. That's all! [/s] Anambra is by far more developed than your Enugu state, infact Enugu people migrate to Anambra for greener pasture. There's no covered drains in Enugu state as a whole but at least we can see covered drains being built in Awka, something your useless and backward Enugu state cannot even see in the next 200yrs.

Take note, Awka, Onitsha has by far better road networks than the shithole called Owerri. You can only compare Owerri with Aba. [s] Jasparrow1: Look bro, I'm not complaining at all. The only thing am complaining here is the road. They're not planned like others. Even Owerri has better road network than Awka and Onitsha. Obiano should stick to Julius beger. They'll construct a better road for us. Have you been to agulu tulip hotel recently. I passed there last month when going back to Minna. The roads to the hotel has damaged. [/s] |

Nwanne abeg leave that bitter clown for me to deal with. He is a cursed bitter bastard. No need wasting your intelligence here ChimaAgbalajob: I agree that modern dimensions of building wide roads rather than the current mindset of building single lane village roads should be adopted for building future roads in Anambra. I just don't agree that you compare the struggling Southeast states to the northern states as if they are treated equally and on the same equitable federal distribution of money. They are not, and it is even a miracle that despite the little they receive, they have managed to build infrastructure that the Federal Government built for free of charge for all the northern states. For instance, Imagine Anambra building an airport out of its meager resources, while the Federal Government built modern airports in Yola, New Bussa, Minna, Kano ,Kaduna, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Sokoto and many more! Infact in some states, they built two!
While Enugu airport was built by Eastern Regional government and later forfeited to the Federal Government after the civil war. If Imo or Asaba didn't built their airport, there would have been none there today! The same policy has been implemented in federal roads, railways, universities and all federal government institutions. Yet, we pretend we don't know what is happening in Nigeria.
I am a supporter of Peter Obi and i still hold him in the highest regard till date. However, it is true that since the creation of Anambra, Gov. Obiano is the ONLY governor that has a modern mindset of doing things that are relatively up to international standard. I know if Obiano ruled during the era of oil price at $100/barrel, he would have put down fantastic infrastructure in the state. That is why he needs our encouragement for the strategic projects he has managed to do despite his very tiny federal allocation. |

Very good development. Anambra is moving forward ANSMEDIA: Anambra Govt Seeks Private Sector Partnership To Boost Power Supply Anambra Govt Seeks Private Sector Partnership To Boost Power Supply Anambra State Government has called for Private Sector partnership towards ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the State.
Governor Willie Obiano made the call during an investment summit at Nnewi. The Governor represented by his Deputy, Dr. Nkem Okeke who described power as the soul of industrialization, restated the commitment of the present administration towards ensuring steady power supply in Anambra, noting that with the help of private sector, the vision of the government in power sector will easily be actualized.
Also speaking, the Managing Director Century Power Generation limited, Dr Chukwueloka Umeh said the steady power supply is achievable if an agreement would be reached between the government and private sector on the power sector.
Government House Correspondent Emmanuel Okonkwo reports that the event witnessed the presence of top business men, Group Managing Director, Afrinvest West Africa, Ike Chioke, Director, Ford Foundation, West Africa, Mr. Innocent Chukwuma, Managing Director Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah, among others. |

Your ideas are useless as it is worthless . It is not needed here, take to to your father's house. [s] mktinsight: The best way to boost power supply is to BEG the IOCs like Shell to extend its gas pipeline from Oguta, IMO state to Onitsha via Nnewi. These gas pipelines will allow for CAPTIVE power generation for companies, industrial layouts and government. Gas pipelines is why Ogun state has over 1000 factories at Agbara and Ota and it was thanks to Obasanjo who connected to Chevron's gas pipeline from Warri to Tema, Ghana. [/s] |
