Crossland people, do you pay for whole reservation when you come in Phoenix or week by week?
Is it possible to receive discount on the place?

Does everybody here have any insurance to travel in USA?
I mean..ok you paid already in MIHS or Doctoresparati for delivering your baby, but if you would have any complication after that?
How will you cover it?

My cousin was delivering in USA, after 2 days when she was ready to leave hospital, but unexpectedly she couldn't breath, she had problems with lung.
Fortunately, emergency reacted very fast and made her surgery. Cost was 75 000 $, in those moment she was a student and had usa insurance. SO they covered it.

But we are tourist right now.

Hello, guys! My husband's case was under administrative proccessing, today I wrote mail in embassy, They told that with my husband there isn't any issue, but they offer to bring my passport to give a visa. So I'm happy ))) Hope during this week I will receive my visa and fly in Phoenix in the next week

TK2014: Hello Oyinkay123, I had the same issue when we went for our interview in July at Abuja. I called the line showed on their website but they kept telling me that they would revert back to us when they are done. My hope was kept alive by the testimony of Jyde2014 & Nikkygal who have had similar experience (although it was not easy many sleepless nite). I used my email addy to send them a message but did not receive any response. After a week that i used my huband's email he was requested to send his passport number which we immediately did. When we did not hear from them again and after confirming from the hospital that the embassy had contacted them my husband sent another mail to them and the following day I received a phone call that we shoul visit the embassy any tuesday or thursday at 1:30pm with our documents and the rest is history. When we went on tues we were just asked if we would be able to pay the balance of our bill as she coulc see that we had paid part and asked to see our bank statement.

So keep your mind at rest, send mails and ask the hospital to inform you once the embassy contact them

How long it was between your interview and those tuesday?

oyinkay123: it is stated in the paper they gave me that it takes WEEKS. and they didnt state how many weeks. im 30 weeks preg.i just sent them an email to ask for the status of my visa, waiting for their response.

when did you send it ? In ours they tell to wait 4 weeks and if we don't receive any answer, write them mail on 5th week to clarify our status.

It was in Malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur. More over, I'm not malaysian, we are russian family.

Hi! we have the same problem. It was my husband case. But we were applying together and we stacked right now both of us with decision. They gave paper to my husband to send some background docs, he is IT specialist. We send everything on email on the next day. Right now is almost 4 weeks how we are waiting. In the next week we'll write mail to know about our visa status, because on the paper they tell it takes 4 weeks. More over, we suppose to fly in 11 of September. It's so weird to don't know about your visa when you have travel less in two weeks (((( I'm 34 weeks.

ebonyademi: please aw long does it take MIHS to respond to an appointment. i called 2 weeks ago and was lucky to book the appointment via call but yet to get any postal mail from them....................... i need the letter to apply for my Mum ASAP

I was waiting almost 1 month. First letter was lost because of misspelling and second came in 2 weeks.

If I apply alone for baby usa passport, I have to bring that form DS3053 from the father, I know that form has to be notarized in the same date of father signature. So could father notarize it with any notary in my country or just in USA Embassy?

Hi everybody again. As I wrote before, my husband and I had interview in US Embassy in Malaysia. My husband is under administrative checking, because he is IT - specialist. I was half-denied ...It's difficult explain..or not denied )))) Immigration officer wrote me that I have to bring another proof of payment. I'm under husband sponsoring and he has just 4 russian bank accounts, no malaysian. So I was invited for second interview. We transferred money in the local account and I was ready to bring that proof of payment.

Today I came there and officer just ask me,
- tell me honest why do you want deliver baby in USA.
- First, that in Asia they do c section and I'm scare to deliver here. I have one kidney, on the right side I have scarp of surgery. I don't want to cut me again. (it's truth)
- there are a lot of western countries, may be do you have another reason?
- we'll try to give american citizenship
- so it's main reason
- we have two reasons (and I smile )))))
- Its ok, no problem. We 'll process your visa and still wait husband result.

So, if they will ask you directly about REASON. I think it's not a problem to say about citizenship. I see he understands it perfect.
All his question he was asking with some sort of smile.

More over, he didn't ask any documents. I think he wrote that paper to me on the first interview just to delay time.
But I forced him to take paper from my job with a salary )))) I didn't gave local bank account

justwise: How about transferring the money in Russian bank to Malaysia bank for easy verification? You know because of sanctions on Russia and relationship between Russia and US it may be difficult to verify documents from Russia

Yes. You are totally right. I'm not sure that here is a question of sanctions. Here he concerned more with local account. I think we'll do it exactly in that way and we'll make official bank statement. Thank you very much.

Today I was in USA Embassy in Malaysia with my husband. I want to say before that we are russian and it's a little bit complicated to receive that type of visa in non-residence country. We were talking a lot time with immigration officer. My husband speaks very bad in english, so he wanted to give pink paper with refusing and for me yellow paper. Then he changed his mind and gave to my husband another yellow paper with administrative checking. So he has to prove his educational background, send CV and explanation of his professional skills. That one we can do without any problems. More over, we have to send it just through email

In my situation, we bring 4 husband bank statement from russian bank and 1 local bank statement with my savings. So together we had more then 10 000 usd. Then immigration officer asked us , do we have just russian bank accounts. I answered, that I have local one, but my sponsor is my husband. SO he told that we don't have enough proof of payment. So I found that he doesn't believe russian papers. So he gave me yellow small paper with that text:

"Your passport and documents are being returned to you. Your application is refused pending the provision of missing documentation. This is routine procedure in the U.S. visa process. We will continue processing your application upon receipt of the information and /or documents listed below. Detailed and complete documentation will help us decide your case quickly, while incomplete or vague answers may result in further delays."

And he filled form with that text OTHER PROOF OF PAYMENT.

So, what do you think? what does it could be?

Hi, everybody! I will have my interview in 4 of august. I need advice. My husband will be my sponsor and we'll apply together. He has his payslips salary, I don't have recent three months payslips salary, because officially I started to work just one month ago, but I'm working here from December of the last year. SO I can bring just employee letter (without date of start ) and bank statement. Do you think is it enough payslips from husband side?

I have achieved reconfirmation from MIHS about my appointment through Medical Clinic and it looks like that.
After few weeks I have received letter from MIHS via Mail Post.

I want to download that files and you see that there's nothing official. Don't look at name because it's misspelling.

Nochid: @Varvara: the letter or email correspondence contains the date of appointment with the financial Counsellor and that of the Doctor's appointment and time. It's usually for the first appointment, that's about all contained in the letter.
