Mangli Munda, an 18 year old young
girl has got married to a dog
fulfilling the tribal ritual in her
remote village in the eastern Indian
state of Jharkhand the purpose of
the ritual is to cast an evil spell from
the young girl in a lavish wedding
ceremony
The wedding was hastily organised
by village elders after a local guru
led Mangli’s parents to believe that
the teenager possessed ill-luck and
that marrying a man would bring
destruction to the family and her
community.
Mangli, who has not been to school,
said she was not happy to wed a dog,
but insisted that it will help change
her fortunes The hesitant bride said:
‘I am marrying a dog because the
village elders believe that my evil
spell will be passed on to the dog.
‘After that is done, the man I will
marry will have a long life.’
Mangli’s father Sri Amnmunda
agreed.
He said: ‘The village elders told us
that we should organise the wedding
as soon as we can. We had to make
sure that the evil spell is destroyed.
And amazingly, this is not the first
time that a local girl has wed a dog
in the village.
Sri added: ‘Many weddings like this
have taken place in our village and
also the other neighbouring villages.
This is a custom that we thoroughly
believe in.’
According to the village’s customs,
the marriage will not affect Mangli’s
life, and she will be free to marry
again later without divorcing the
dog. I will also be free to marry a
man of my dreams after after the
evil spell is over.’
At the wedding ceremony, people
danced to traditional drumming,
while around 70 relatives and local
villagers attended the wedding ‘We
had to spend money on this wedding
in the same way as we would in a
normal wedding. But that is the only
way we can get rid of her bad luck
and ensure the benevolence of the
village.’
Now with the marriage ceremony
over, Mangli has to take care of the
dog and raise him as a pet for the
next few months.
Mangli added: ‘I will marry a man
one day. It is the dream of every girl
to marry a prince charming. So I am
also waiting for my prince.’

"We first saw the old man roaming the streets like a mentally unstable man, holding a small bag and we thought he was begging for food or money. Later, we noticed some commercial motorcyclists shouting 'Thief! Thief!' from afar. They dragged the bag from him, and it was discovered that he had items such as bra, panties, clothes and soaked sanitary pads in his possession," an eyewitness told SaharaReporters. full details ⚓ see photo https://valezon..com/2019/01/man-caught-with-dozens-of-sanitary-pads.html |

There is a very bizarre trend of so called yahoo
plus guys stealing ladies panties and bras for
ritual purposes in various cities in Nigeria and
it’s becoming very alarming. yesterday a man
was caught who disguised himself as a female
wearing bra while on an alleged mission to steal
pant in Delta State. The suspect was reportedly
caught by local vigilante in Agbarha area of the
state after he allegedly stole a bra and was
looking for panties to steal to complete his
mission.
When he was quizzed by the security operatives,
the suspect allegedly confessed that a man
whom he asked to show him the way to make
money told him to go and find where to hustle
panties and bra before he helps him.He was told
after picking or stealing the items, he should
meet him at a popular Tozak hotel in Ughelli
area.He was caught by vigilante members after
stealing only one bra.
Below is what Facebook user Ofejiro Skillz
wrote;
Oman this thing dey worst oo this guy go thief

It would be recalled that few weeks back a yet to
be identified young man was caught stealing
female underwear’s and other clothing items in
Imo state. This is happening few weeks after a
Nigerian man took to social media to apprise
ladies to be very careful about how they spread
their panties to avoid being victims of
circumstance, claiming that female pants are
being sold to Ritualists and yahoo Boys for
N200,000 and above .
It was gathered that the man came all the way
from another community, Obowo to Umuokoro
Umuihi village in Ihitte/Uboma Local Government
Area of Imo State to steal the undies before he
was caught red handed. He was later handed to
the vigilante members in the community after he
couldn’t explain what he does or will do with the
stolen items. See more photos below.

the teenager possessed ill-luck and
that marrying a man would bring
destruction to the family and her
community.
Mangli, who has not been to school,
said she was not happy to wed a dog,
but insisted that it will help change
her fortunes The hesitant bride said:
‘I am marrying a dog because the
village elders believe that my evil
spell will be passed on to the dog.
‘After that is done, the man I will
marry will have a long life.’
Mangli’s father Sri Amnmunda
agreed.
He said: ‘The village elders told us
that we should organise the wedding
as soon as we can. We had to make
sure that the evil spell is destroyed.
And amazingly, this is not the first
time that a local girl has wed a dog
in the village.
Sri added: ‘Many weddings like this
have taken place in our village and
also the other neighbouring villages.
This is a custom that we thoroughly
believe in.’
According to the village’s customs,
the marriage will not affect Mangli’s
life, and she will be free to marry
again later without divorcing the
dog. I will also be free to marry a
man of my dreams after after the
evil spell is over.’
At the wedding ceremony, people
danced to traditional drumming,
while around 70 relatives and local
villagers attended the wedding ‘We
had to spend money on this wedding
in the same way as we would in a
normal wedding. But that is the only
way we can get rid of her bad luck
and ensure the benevolence of the
village.’
Now with the marriage ceremony
over, Mangli has to take care of the
dog and raise him as a pet for the
next few months.
Mangli added: ‘I will marry a man
one day. It is the dream of every girl
to marry a prince charming. So I am
also waiting for my prince.’
