If the Yoruba nation truly believes in one Nigeria, they ought to have been more circumspect in their condemnation of OBJ and his policies. They have to begin to find a way to surrender their grip on their nation – the Yoruba nation, that is. Yoruba cannot eat their cake and have it. Its either they want a strong Nigeria or a strong Yoruba nation. They cannot in good conscience at the same time aspire for the two. It is a blatant contradiction. Their tribally leaning voting pattern which OBJ tried to tinker with has become a stumbling block to the realization of a great Nigeria dream.

I think this is self explantory. The Yoruba's have realised that this 'dream' of One Nigeria is not proving to be a very realistic one, owing in many respects to the fact that the Yoruba's, Hausas and Igbo people are DIFFERENT. We Yoruba's cannot continue to sit idly and let the future of generations be wasted while we wait for some 'national' saviour. We will improve our infrastructure, create jobs and become (in many ways) self sufficient. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this IMO, and as the saying goes 'je ki olomu gbe omu iya re'.  
My suggestion to other tribes is that they should get their acts together and not be threatened by the 'Yoruba Nation'.

I SALUTE my fellow southwestern people for kicking out the PDP. This will send a strong message to our new governors, 'Mess up, and you're out'!

Errr, point of correction. Lagos IS A YORUBA State. Don't get it twisted. We're just very accomodating people.

Thank God Oyo State is now free!. Yoruba states have wisely swept out the worthless PDP
