Hello house ...finally i am posting here. Been a silent reader for a while now.
My timeline:
Category: UK Spouse settlement visa (non priority)
Online application submitted: March 3rd 2018
Biometrics taken: March 6th
Supporting documents sent: 20th March
ECO assigned email: April 11th
Hubby contacted by Eco: June 14
No news from them after that.
Have escalated twice (last one being on August 22)
Been waiting for 5months from Biometrics day and 4months from Email confirmation day...
I didn’t think i had this virtue (patience), until now. Good luck to all of us waiting for the positive response.

Visa finally granted!
Vignette stamped on 24 October 2018

Seven months after biometrics was taken, and 6 months after home office acknowledged receipt of application.

God is GREAT. Finally packing my bags.

I wish everyone the best.

Hi @Dydaa Just to point something out from your post "I did my masters in d UK so dnt nid d NARIC cert or ielts!" I would advise that to be on a safe side, you get the NARIC certificate even though you had studied in the UK. We have seen cases where those that presented just their UK M.Sc certificates without the NARIC got refused. Better safe than sorry. Good-luck with your application.

Very true. Just last month or so an English teacher who equally did her Masters program in the UK was refused settlement visa on the grounds that she only submitted her certificate.

Wow! Now I’m worried for myself oh. My son and I did our Bio on the 26th of June. 13th of July we got an email to pay IHS for my son and our application as been assigned to ECO. Fingers crossed we shall all hear our good news this month!

Amen! Don’t be worried, it may take time but will definitely come...all we need is patience and God’s favour...
