Business / Wonder Banks: Sos To Jonathan And Sanusi by viccheny(m): 10:00pm On Sep 05, 2010
High Yield Investment “Wonder Banks” operators operated freely in Nigeria in the year 2007/2008. The money they used in running the High Yield Investment was invested by the masses in this country through various notable commercial banks where they opened and ran successful account(s).

The wonder bank operators enjoyed the good services of these notable banks before their various accounts were frozen by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
CBN authorised Corporate Affairs Commission to conduct a verification exercise of the investors in February 2008. The verification enjoyed a lot of patronage by the investors (masses).

At the end of the verification exercise, investors were promised that they would get back their initial investment, but ever since February 2008 nothing has been said by CBN on the money of the masses frozen in various commercial banks.

We are using this medium to appeal to his Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, and Dr. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (CBN Governor) to come to our aid in ensuring safe return of our investments not minding the interests the investments have yielded.

Yerima is not alone in marrying an underaged woman. It is disgusting to hear this group rising in his defence.

Politics / Re: Jonathan May Become President This Week by viccheny(m): 8:49am On Dec 22, 2009
Too long. Yar'Adua is sick. Jonathan Goodluck should act as President until further notice. No long grammer. We like silly stories in Nigeria and I hate this attitude. Let's show good example for West Africa, Africa and the world, at least for ONCE.
Culture / Re: Tiv Forum by viccheny(m): 8:53am On Dec 17, 2009
Unongu, congratulations. I can see that you have only one post but you spoke sensibly.  Your kind of post is what educates and brings out a peoples' grievance in a clear light. For this I appreciate you and I respect your personality.

What Nigeria needs is a group of sincere minds that can point out the problems with Nigeria and how to deal with them. Don't expect this to happen tomorrow. Nigerians are often drawn into joining the wrong bandwagon based on religion, ethnicity and sectional connections. The result is the rot we are witnessing today.

I won't address  any of the issues you mentioned affecting the Tiv people because you presented your case in a clear language.  I have respect for the Tiv race for many reasons. Twenty years ago I studied in Makurdi town and enjoyed the hospitality of the Tiv people. I praise the prowess, and intellectual acumen of the Tivs. I know they can do so much for Nigeria.

But listen. Nigeria is losing so much due to the aforementioned reasons. The Tivs are lucky they are remembered in this government. What do you think of minority tribes that are never reflected in the Nigerian discuss, forgotten and ridiculed? Nigeria is fighting senseless battles while the world is forging ahead and we are losing important personal contributions.

Nigeria can benefit from the mass of talents  of people 'being born from the wrong parts of Nigeria', yet we are losing and only God knows how much we have lost and how much we shall continue to lose.

As I write this [which I never intended to write more than two lines], I feel sorry for those who criticize others based on location of birth and yet cannot offer anything worthwhile when it comes to national development.  Those who have wretched Nigeria have come from the so-called major tribes.

Nigeria has come to believe that only them have the magic wand of moving Nigeria, yet we are nowhere. The pain is greater when you reflect how minorities ar neglected. I sympathetize with you but I know that the Tivs can do more for Nigeria like any other minority ethnic group.

Please don't be discouraged, "if a fish sleeps, another will eat it." Wake up and fight for your rights. You have just started a good cause.

Business / Re: New Naira Notes! Arabic Is The Reason? by viccheny(m): 2:38am On Sep 21, 2009
I sense it. There will be arabic on the notes. Sanusi;s face shows it. Do you remember the case of the Islamic Banking after sacking the 5 bank CEOs? Watch out. Look at the picture of Sanusi again.
Religion / Re: Pre-Marital Sex Is Not Fornication by viccheny(m): 7:56am On Sep 03, 2009

People who bring such topics are likely to be in the following situation: [1] a very serious pre-marital sexual relationship, [2] an aberrant sexual relationship or [3] liberated from the cage of traditional life to that of care-free life where everything is acceptable.

I can give more situations. But these will suffice. I explain: an adult who is matured and begins to taste the Adam's Apple, will feel there's nothing wrong with pre-marital sex or fornication. Such adults may continue adultery as a normal life in marriage.

When a girl talks like this, she could be indulging in deviant sexual sessions  e.g. lesbian lesions.  If such suits her, she sees nothing wrong with it in so far as she's indulging with one partner who's giving her what she wants. With time jealousy and the spirit of exploration with other partners will create conflict then she'll experience pain and loneliness. Is she matured to handle it? Her statement tells me no. "I see nothing wrong with it," she says.

If she was in a traditional setting, like having strict disciplinarian parents rooted is sound religious doctrines, such a person will sing alleluia when she runs to freedom in a higher institution or far from the home.

People break the laws of God for deviant pleasures. But note, fornication and pre-marital sex are condemned by God and society.  THEY ARE SIN.  SAVE YOURSELF.  Problems will set in between your partner and FUTURE NEW PARTNERS you'll meet. Then, you will know how wrong it is. Marriage is a commitment made for better for worse until death. BE MATURED.

If you have the patience read my article on sexual ethics: http://www.scribd.com/doc/17437541/The-Moral-Evaluation-of-Masturbation-in-Sexual-Ethics
