Mirasteel:
Shut up abeg, even the zionist government are doing worse than what those hamas are doing.

You support those evil zionist but you have forgotten that they killed 20,000 kids.
The facts remains, Hamas invaded Israel on October 7, whatever is happening to them now is as a result of their own stoopeedity.

Next time after signing a peace agreement 🤝 they will not dare renege on it.
They signed Abraham's accord in 2020 there was peace ✌🏼 until they decided let there be violence by spilling innocent Israeli blood.

Now Israel is teaching them the meaning of superior violence, let them learn their lessons please 🥺 don't interrupt.
Foreign Affairs › Re: UN Says Hamas Is Obstructing Aid In Gaza by ViceGovernor: 5:46am On Jul 15
Yes that's how evil they can be, now they have started sending Hamas terrorists into Nigeria to mix with the local menace we have here ....... IDF should be put on notice asap.

Our government must get sense by force.

You clearly have not used Glo recently, Airtel may be a bit shaky but currently Glo is head to head with MTN in terms of their network quality and overall service delivery.
Do you also know among all networks Glo has the best call, sms and data to airtime ratio.
With Glo I can purchase a gigabyte with less than 500 naira.
I don't think that's possible with MTN.

MTN just happened to amass a lot of customers because they were here before Glo, they got years of headstart on the competition.

They have more customers than Glo but the network is the same, Glo is actually better in my location.
nedekid:
Lol, no offence but it is likely you may be young to have experienced what it means for Nigerian to run organizations, we do not have the capacity, we do not have the work ethics, we are black and so by default cannot get our act together. Which outfit have Nigerians been able to run without running it down, from Nigeria airways to Air Nigeria, to virgin Nigeria(acquired from virgin airlines), what of Nnsl (Nigerian national shipping line), abi is it Nitel? A country so corrupt that NNPC refinaries could not produce 4 liters of petrol after $3.5b had been spent, as Benin boys will say, "they have use the money to buy benz".
Oga you know if Mtn network shakes Etisalat will automatically go because their platform is Mtn, you will then be left with 2 networks ie glo and airtel. Both networks are already shitty, imagine if more subscribers move to their already shitty network, it is like putting a straw on the entrance of your pee hole and peeing after drinking 6 bottles of beer.
Even if you say Nigerians should run the place, they will run it down, besides the south Africans have the source codes, the blue prints etc.
Mtn is of strategic national importance in Nigeria, from your Nin, bvn, jamb waec etc. Infact we rather should be careful let south Africa not decide to sanction us through messing around with Mtn servers.
It is just like when buhari government wanted to allow mastercard(an American company) handle our national identification project. A lot of Nigerians including myself protested against it. Ofcourse the usual zombie databoys ignoramus attacked us. Imagine if an American company has such sensitive information, America can even tell mastercard to ground the Nigeria economy by turning off the mastercard network to Nigeria.
We are in a tight spot with Mtn. As for dstv note that their services in Nigeria is owned by Adewumi ogunsanya through multichoice Nigeria, so while hurting dstv you are also hurting Nigerians.

I agree, we should all proceed with caution and it is very Important that diplomacy be applied not violence or economic sabotage.

I still would like to see my country regain our previous status of the number 1 economy in Africa.

I think we are enriching our rivals at the detriment of our own economic progress.
And this rival hates us eith perfect hatred.

It's all about MONEY AND WOMEN.
Nigerians are very enterprising especially in other countries, and women are attracted to success.

That is the situation that brought about the whole hatred towards Nigerians in Southy.

Jakarta:
Nationalized? That's easier said than done. Just look at what happened to NITEL, NICON, and Ajaokuta Steel. Government ownership made those companies crumble

As for holding MTN responsible for everything South Africans Xenophobia acts, that sets a dangerous precedent. By that logic, should Nigeria ban or nationalize Nairaland, Facebook, or X because they've all been used to spread hate speech, misinformation, and even criminal propaganda against Nigeria and Nigerians? Should we place a bet? our senators will never do anything of sort, forget about bribe.
Sports › Re: Without Messi, Will You Still Support Argentina? by ViceGovernor: 6:43pm On Jul 13
The referee that was in charge of the daylight robbery has just been kicked out of the world cup, they gave it a fanciful name but we all know why he was expelled from the tourney.

He was sent packing 3 hours ago according to my official sources.

Due to the backlash from people like myself and my fellow followers of the real GOAT 🐐 CR7 even FIFA had to make an example of the biased ref.

Now tell me again if Egypt were robbed or not.
CanadaOrBust:
My friend Egypt was leading BY TWO GOALS WITH LESS THAN 15 MINS LEFT!
How will FIFA or anyone let that happen to a team they want to win??
In a world cup match when you have 15 minutes left and one team is leading 2-0, the game is over! Infact when I saw how Switzerland was out-playing Argentina and it was 1-1, I stopped watching because I knew Switzerland would win. Only later did I learn the story changed with a red card. FIFA and nobody could have predicted that red card!
So I blame Egypt totally.
All they had to do was prevent Argentina from scoring 3 goals in 15 minutes and the couldn't do it!
Sports › Re: Without Messi, Will You Still Support Argentina? by ViceGovernor: 8:43am On Jul 13
Look I understand you are hardcore fan of the assistant goat Messi, but you cannot come and twist reality that we all have been seeing in all Argentina matches this world cup ......the fact remains Egypt was robbed.

If Argentina had been eliminated the major sponsors of the tournament would have withdrawn their support, even FIFA president said he suffered with Argentina when they were trailing in a game, now how on God's green earth would you expect us to believe that those guys are not favoring Argentina?

The whole world saw the robbery.
CanadaOrBust:
You'd have had a point if the referee, sensing that time was running out, awarded Argentina indiscriminate penalties for flimsy excuses. But no, they scored fair and square, aided by nothing. You ought be blaming Egypt for not defending their goal line for few more minutes and at least getting additional 30 minutes and maybe into penalties.
I'm angry at Egypt not Argentina or ref
Foreign Affairs › Re: "We'll Shut Down MTN, Dstv & Stanbic!" – University Students President (VIDEO) by ViceGovernor: 8:37am On Jul 13
Whatever infrastructure MTN thinks they have it will all be nationalized and transferred to other network providers if they don't force the hand of their government to stop the xenophobia.

They're enabling it by allowing their network to be used to spread hate and encourage the lynching of Nigerians, our senators are already looking at chasing their major businesses away.
Jakarta:
MTN Nigeria has a workforce of over 1,900 employees, with about 99% of them being Nigerians. Some of these protesting students may even end up working for MTN someday.

As for profits, MTN has invested billions of dollars in Nigeria's telecom sector. Why wouldn't it expect to make a return on that investment? You forget that year when Econet dey change owners every week, before Airtel acquired it?
Let's not even talk about the push, start, quench Glo of a network.

Yes, Nigerians have every right to live and do business in South Africa, and xenophobic attacks there are condemnable anytime, any day. But destroying the assets of a multibillion dollar company because of the actions of some intolerant individuals in another country is a capital NO for me.
Sports › Re: Without Messi, Will You Still Support Argentina? by ViceGovernor: 11:45pm On Jul 12
When you are fighting an opp and the ref decides to tie his hands up, regardless of the punches you have thrown before, once the opponents hands are tied he will be pummeled blue black.

Egypt would have gotten rid of Arhentina if not for biased refereeing.
The wrongful cancellation of that goal brought down their spirit, that was when they realized the game was 11 vs 11+ref and VAR.

Don't even get me started on Arhentina FIFA have been cheating opps for them right from the very first game when the assistant goat should have been shown a red card for a career threatening tackle.

They have played 450 minutes+ and they got 1 yellow card, every other team with less fouls than Argentina have gotten above 8_10 cards both yellow and red.

Should we talk about the penalty recordhuh
They are the first team in the world cup history to get 8 penalties in 11 games.

Messi scored 7 goals in the last rigged world cup 85 percent of the goals na penalty (5).

Newborn babies can clearly see the injustice being done against other countries for Arhentina.
CanadaOrBust:
Can you please tell me HOW FIFA knew Argentina would score 3 goals in 10 minutes against Egypt towards the end, while not scoring all match through??
Foreign Affairs › Re: "We'll Shut Down MTN, Dstv & Stanbic!" – University Students President (VIDEO) by ViceGovernor: 11:33pm On Jul 12
Lol dey play, networks are waiting on the sideline to take their spot with quickness.

We will wean ourselves off of that cancerous dependence on them, the same Nigerians thought they could not do without subsidy and we are without it today, that's the same way MTN and all south African companies will go, it will be hard at first but another will take their place.

They know it that's why their CEO has been on overdrive begging Nigerians to take it easy this past couple of weeks.

It's a huge national security risk to have an entire country's telecommunication industry in the hands of foreigners who clearly hate us.....it's a pity we are being ruled by bütt holes
nedekid:
You think you can do without Mtn? Let Mtn network go down for 24hrs and see the chaos in the country. Infact if they want to sanction us they will just sabotage the network. Hope you enjoy using glo and airtel, as for Etisalat, you know it is under Mtn network right?
Foreign Affairs › Re: "We'll Shut Down MTN, Dstv & Stanbic!" – University Students President (VIDEO) by ViceGovernor: 11:25pm On Jul 12
There are more than 108 south African companies operating in Nigeria and they make over 9.8 billion Rand per year.

Our citizens have earned a right to be in that country sir if they combine all the businesses of our citizens over there I doubt if it's up to 5B Rand.

Whatever company they have here can and will definitely be replaced by indigenous ones.

The south African would be wise to caution there thugs.
The amount of money MTN alone makes in 1 year from Nigeria they can't get it in 7 years in South Africa, who born them 😏

We will throw the bath water, the basin and even the people (FIFA) bathing the child .

I hate what I don't like.....see how them dey rob countries shamelessly.

There's no winner of the world cup ever that got to semis without facing any of the top 18 ranked teams in the world.

Oh there is one now and it's none other than FIFA's favorite country Arhentina.

They scored 2 more goals after red card ♦️ lol 😆
Haakeem:
Switzerland outplayed them? How? After the red card, they switched to a full defense mode that Even Spain or France would struggle to penetrate, If it had stayed 11 vs. 11 and both team were attacking Argentina wouldn't have find it this hard, they still found a way through and scored two more goals, which many teams wouldn't have managed and the match would have ended at penalty shootout

Of course, our team is team that would have won a medal 🏅🥇 had we been in this world cup.

Our team is solid 🪨 just look at last Afcon.

FIFA robbed us by allowing Congo qualify after playing 6 illegal players against us.

They'd definitely have robbed us by giving us Argentina at a point which will mean the end of Nigeria's journey and a brace for their favorite boy.

It's funny you mentioned penalty, the record holder for penalty, most penalty received, most penalty goals in world cup history is your assistant goat Lionel Merci the FIFA poster boy.

Argentina in their last 14 world cup games have been given 9 penalties.

He was found appealing for a penalty after tripping himself inside the opponent's penalty area.

Don't ever compare that to the real GOAT 🐐 CR7.
