Have you checked University of Saskatchewan. You are not required to mail a supervisor before applying. Just try to write a very tight SOP. I just applied to the same department against Fall 2018 and I hope it's positive cos their fees is quite cheap. Best of God Kelvinkate: Thanks for your response
I studied Agricultural Economics B.sc, trying to get admission for a masters degree in Agricultural Economics. It's been tough for me. |

Hello house, Please my friend applied for the study permit via paper route in June, although she was not guided well at all. There was enough money in the account but she was still rejected based on 1) Purpose of visit 2) Not satisfied with her choice of course, even though she chose financial accounting because she's an accounting student 3) Not sure she would come back after her studies Going from the previous thread, I already told her if she's opting for PGD she has to have a convincing SOP, don't know how correct I am. My main question now is does she need to request for GCMS notes, not sure I know what it is but I see people talk about it a lot here because she wasn't even called to do medical test at all. Hope to get a response soon. Thank you |

There's a centre where they learn French at Ikpt Ekpene Road. The unity bank there, upstairs, not so sure if they tutor in German too but you can go there to make enquiries Donald2017: I'm seriously Interested in Learning German, But I have been searching for schools, language centers or even Private lesson teachers in Akwa Ibom State that I can apply to, so far I have gotten none. A Copper friend once told me that there's a center for European Languages around Ibom Plaza in Uyo where one can learn German (Deutsch) as well, but I have searched for it and asked around as well, I can't find it.
Please anyone with any info on where to laern German (Deutsch) in Akwa Ibom State should share the information with me.
Thanks! |

lawsonkehinde@yahoo.com Thank you very much. Please one more thing, the GRE test is not very compulsory in the two schools I want to applyi for, Univ of Sask and Univ of Manitoba but I feel it might be an added advantage because my CGPA is 3.63 overall, although from what I researched on, I think they would evaluate just the last two years of study. Would appreciate of you can shed more light. Thank you kosb: Drop your email address and I'll share my GRE folder with you |

Please have been searching for the GRE thread but can't seem to find it. GlitteringStar: LOR means Letter of Recommendation. Follow up with your referees to make sure they reply before the deadline (some Nigerian lecturers are lazy and wouldn't respond at all or some would reply when the deadline has passed). So I will advise you to choose someone who is willing to write a strong and comprehensive letter for you because all these are important aspects of your application. Some programs require academic referees while others require professional referees. Check the school website for details.
Most graduate programs in Canadian Universities do not require GRE except business schools. But, people applying to Canadian Universities do write GRE to bolster their application so as to increase their chances of getting admission and also support their visa application. You can check the school website for the requirements to know if GRE is required or not. Graduate advisors are also friendly and always willing to provide answers to your questions. Contact them if you need any details.
For GRE materials, there is a GRE thread on this forum. You can download lots of materials there and also get tips on how to pass the exam.
If you can submit a strong application, you have a high chance of getting full funding. But, you need to do your research, dot your i's and cross your t's and and commit the rest to God.
It will surely end in praise |

Hello, please i would like to apply to University of Saskatchewan and University of Manitoba for MSC in Agric Economics (Research based). Have done my findings and those are the two schools that best fit my course. My CGPA is 3.63/5 although I think for the last two years it is more because I sent my result to University of Saskatchewan, it was rated 77%. My question now is do you think I should write a GMAT to increase my chances of getting an admission especially to Manitoba? Thank you |

Hello here, please am new to this thread and just want to start my application against Fall 2018. I want to apply to both University of Manitoba and University of Saskatchewan. From the thread I noticed securing a supervisor is important, I sent a mail to both schools and was told I can apply without one. Please do you think I should go on and apply or still go ahead and find a supervisor. |
