If someone had told me a month ago, that I would be leaving Nigeria for USA, I would have considered it a very expensive joke.
Following our successful visa interview, feels right to inform this amazing Nairaland family that my family and I have finally touched down Washington DC. This would be our new home for now.
Feels refreshing to eventually leave Nigeria for good.

It"s freezing cold here, would keep tabs of my daily experiences here in the USA on this thread, but before that, tips on how to survive this chill would most importantly be appreciated.

And someone told me today that to get USA visa is nearly impossible for youths, that I should try Canada instead, Pls how true is this?

the code is ok but i will need to know where u drop the index.html (most time on the root folder) and i will also need to know if you created a sub folder for css files ? example: if u created a sub folder in the root folder and name it "css"

the code will look like this:

<link rel="stylesheet "type="text/css " href="css/style.css">

but if the style.css is in the root folder with the index.html then you use the same line of code you pasted like this:

<link rel="stylesheet "type="text/css " href="style.css">

any more help let me know

Thanks, I created two sub folders (Html and CSS) under the Web folder, I saved the index.html file in the HTML FOLDER and style.css in the CSS FOLDER

I was trying to run my codes on Chrome via vscode, I saved the html file(index. html) in a sub folder (html) and css file(style.css) in a sub folder (style.css) , and I save all in a folder (web). I linked the css to the html file but I tried running the code by the css part is not coming up, please what's the solution??

I'm Victor, i reside somewhere In eastern part Nigeria. I have been experiencing some difficulties and pains with my right foot right from tender age, i think it's abnormal and out of shape... I went to x ray when i was 9yrs old and the doctor said that im fine and healthy,, but i doubted it cos i wasnt comfortable with my foot.
Mid last year i did some researches and found out that im flatfooted, since then i have been seeking for solutions. Some people doctors recommended surgery while some told me to forget and go on with it since i can run and walk with it... the worst past of it is that i keep changing shoes every month cos of the damage caused by my foot, sometimes i feel pains...
I'm confused and dont know what to do, i need some tips on what to do to cure this deformity, please if you have experienced this before you can drop your suggestions here.
