Early this year, the Federal government finally mobilized the afforementioned company to commence the completion work on the Ekot Epene road. And in the month of febuary,work commenced. But from what i noticed,this wasn't the heartland i saw last year. Really commended their zeal with which work was carried out because of the work force. Quite unfortunate, their attitude at moment has nothing to write home about. In April, did draw the attention of the federal government and other authories with the observation, all to no avail. My fears,as the rainning season is much close,so sure this project will be abandon and for sure,only the poor will be at the receiving end. My compassionate appeal to heartland again, is kindly give this road the urqency it deserves. For sure,With the present work force, nothing significant can be achieve. Why not mobilize more work force to hasten the repairs. Whatsoever reason is the cause for all the dilly-dally can still be negotiated...

Wholly on that journey,for once,let's learn from the train episode and be a bit tactical, by avoiding mass travelling. And equally avoid at all cost the bandits/kidnappers infested areas/zones. Before the rain,we had 4day black out and the next day,light was restored and to my dismay,we discovered all the gadgetry electronics are all gone,despite that the building has a thunder arrester installed. To all Nairalander,reaching you from southeast,kindly note,as the rains sets in,and as no one knows the rains that comes with thunder,kindly make sure all appliances are swtiched off and unpluged from the sockets to avoid my kind of awful experiece,even the same was reported in the neighbourhood. We are much closer to the season, always be at ALERT!.

Can't believe under the religion section,no dream gifed one in our midst. MY MAJOR PROBLEM? I have a very fragile heart so tenderly to hate or hurt anybody especially, those in my neighbourhood. Honestly,has been trying to abide as a faithful disciple through total surrend to His commands. CRUX OF THE MATTER. My close door neighbour enjoys gas cooking cylinder,while mine is wood fire cooking method. On a good day,to my surprised , i caught my neighbour using my wood fire without my permission for commercial purpose[frying groundnut],to maintained a good neighbour managered to control myself. On another occasion,it was her children,honestly,this development didn't go down well with me. Women has remain so smart,somehow she noticed it and decides to approach me jokingly,to leave my fire on for her,on pretext of running out of gas. Hmmmm,this hand shake hs gone to another level. Should i continue keeping mute to my own detriment? Ofcourse we all know hw unfriendly nigerian economy is,considering a bunch of wood fire of 25pcs gose for #800.

Frankly speaking, children deserves the best nurturing and good upbringing,yet government are owning parents both salaries and pension for years now. Every child deserves the right to quality education,yet schools are on strikes,teachers salaries are still pending,what actually do we expect from them? Coupled with kidnapping, unknown gunmen,high rate of inflation,unemployment,insecurity and high rate of corruption and many others have remain a threat to the foundation of our future leaders. From all indication,with their body language,the chance of children becoming leaders of tomorrow is nothing but pure nightmares.

For decades,this precious day has remains important in the lives of many Nigerian kids who earnestly awaits this particular day. Traditionally,schools are granted a holiday to enable them full participation. This once a while celebration are fully packed with lots of social actitives centred on them. Infact there is no adult,who did not pass through childhood stage[except Adam] who doesn't know the real value of this inventful memorable day. Children are priveledge to visit different places of interest such as the amusement parks,national theatre,national museum and other important places. More over, to honour children on all this inventful day state government are often entertained with different cultural dances and match parades and the best school in performances are rewarded accordingly. But unfortunately,that was then. Things has fallen apart,children are no longer considered as the leaders of tomorrow,from their conducts and body language. Even, children's welfare no longer matter to them..
