fergie001:lol okay good to know. Thanks ![]() |
Why not switch to BSc Computer Science now? Rather than waiting until MSc. Or is that what you meant by you've been trying hard? I personally don't know how feasible that is (to change from B.Agric to MSc Computer Science). If it was MBA, I'd understand, and that most times requires experience to be eligible. If switching to MSc directly doesn't work, all hope isn't lost, you can always go for Advanced diploma programs in IT and move your way up. I'll let others opine. Good luck! |
EbukaHades10:lol congrats to your team. Good comeback. |

EbukaHades10:Good to know your people are safe. lol you sef don finally agree sey fergie na ROYGBIV. fergie001:ROYGBIV, get through tomorrow first. |
Bantino:Thanks for checking. Fam, I'm sorry that the past couple of weeks has been really heart-wrenching for us. Please stay safe everyone! |
Bantino:Thanks for the feedback. Good idea! The scholarship is a good suggestion, but since this was her only child (if I recall correctly) I didn't include that. We can confirm with her family. I agree with you and Bartork on granting her family financial aid and I understand what you meant. If there are no objections, we can begin to work on contacting her family, updating the group on individual commitment, (as Bartork mentioned) and commit to a date of completion. I'll send you an email shortly. {Sent} |
EbukaHades10:No dey join bad belle squad ![]() |
fergie001:That's very disturbing. You guys should please stay safe. I'll pretend I didn't see the last part. meeting during curfew, carry on. |
ABCthings:I'd like more info on the concept of the sponsor book or animation. Feel free to share. As regards to reaching the family, I don't think that should be challenging. We need to seek their consent on whether to proceed with anything we decide on. I also think we should take some of these communications offline. The planning team can come together and provide updates on the thread so people can chime in. But for coordination, I think its best to have an offline discussion to most of these. @Bantino, do you mind taking the lead on this one? We can discuss offline. Here are some ideas if we do decide to do something for the family: Household items Contribute to funding a project they're working on Photobook Donate to a cause she'd have loved to support or be part of. Cash donation Again all of these is determined by if the family is okay with it. I'd like to respect their decision even while considering/planning a memorial for her. Let me know what you all think. Thanks. |
emeijeh:lol me bawo? Rain or sunshine, I'm loyal to Blues. You've forgotten that it's only fergie001 that will go for choir practice, edo election, Bishop baptism, evensong etc and they only happen anytime his ROYGBIV teams are playing. |
fergie001:lol na so! Shey you know I'm 1 year old na. As per you don't have another means to watch it.Just also make sure you don't come here to make noise if the match favours Ole. |
ABCthings:Great ideas and thanks for the thoughts! I like the idea of the portrait and I believe that will be easy to also get across to her family if/when we decide to. An app sounds good too, but we have to consider the long term management. I'm more leaning towards the portrait idea or doing something for her family. (couple of ideas on this one) To echo what you said. Maami was a good person and this is the least we can do for her. I'll let others chime in. Thanks! |
How's everyone doing? Stay safe out there fam! |
Bantino:Sir Bantino, I'm well. Thanks. Hope you are fine too? I agree with postponing the game. Her birthday is Nov 30th, so I was thinking we could do something that weekend. Or sometimes in December also works. I'd like to hear what people think and ideas on what we can do. I see some comments from ABCthings already and they're good ideas, will review and comment. |
emeijeh:Happy Belated Birthday Sir emeijeh! I wish you all the beautiful things of life and hope you had a great one! ![]() |
fergie001: fergie001:Issoright! Make sure you don't go for choir practise tonight! |

Bartork:Bartork, I'm fine. Thanks. Yea, sad. May God rest her soul, comfort and keep her family. |
RiseAbove:Hi, They're part of the same Hillsong church. The difference is mostly in what they do. One mostly writes their songs, and the other mostly participate in live worship. The members of both groups are also interwoven (meaning: some members belong to both) Hope this helps. |
This is a severe kick in the gut. Maami and I never exchanged contact numbers but we communicated several times via email. I knew she was expecting a baby. Infact we chatted about that couple of times. The first screenshot was part of our recent/last conversation. After this, I got what now seems to be a last reply from her on the same 4th. All in all I thought she was busy or worst maybe she lost her phone. Where I got worried the more was knowing her kind of person she'd have reached out even if her phone was missing. She'd done it on 2 different occasions when she was absent on NL for some days and she sent me an email to let me know she's fine. I recently met her on this forum and never met her in person, but in my spirit I sensed and knew she was a good person and so we got along so well. We even recently talked about how I look forward to meeting her and eating her food. The screenshots are temporary and will be taken down soon so please do not save or share. I'm sharing them so you all know and be reminded of how strong this woman was. Despite the challenges with her pregnancy, you can all agree with me that she still made us laugh and smile here. Maggilove, though I never got to meet you in person, I find comfort in knowing that this paradise brought us together virtually. Sadly for a short time. I pray that everyone affected by this heart-wrenching loss be comforted on every side. May I request that we refrain from posting/making comments on this thread for the next 3 days. We can each leave a comment of condolences but after that (beginning from tomorrow) please let's keep any other post/communication until the 16th of October. May maami and her little angel continue to rest in God's peace. Amen!!! Psalms 34 vs 18 If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath. |
Bantino:I can't wrap my mind around this. Amen!!! Sir Bantino, forgive me if I didn't seek your consent before requesting the silence on this thread (in my next post) but I'm sure you wouldn't have objected to it. |
Proudlyngwa:This is devastating!!!! My spirit is crushed!!!! |
Corbin:In bold, you think? It wee shock you. Hope you know maami is part of the council. Don't beg me to beg her when she returns o. ![]() |
