NNPC and other Oil/Multinational companies have their constructive and unique ways of recruitment.

For example if you registered for ExxonMobil's 2015 graduate trainee, youl know what am talking about.

The application process took upto 20minutes, and its on their site.

They dont ask for any payment to buy form... Its free application asides the MB you use!!!

Bhuumite, VickyRotex, semitunde ; You all must agree that latin was not the original written method of the Yoruba people. We had our own writing system which we have all forgotten. what a forgetful people we are, anyways, that isn't our fault.

Tunde original is Tunday or Tunaday, it means one with strong faith.
Babatunde- one wise with strong faith
Obatunde- king with strong faith
Yetunde- wise woman with strong faith
Olatunde- wealthy one with strong faith
etc.
It is a very ancient name. Every African name as we know it is been mis pronounced- They are all the names in the book of life. we will get it all back!
Hiunhuh Tunday abi Tunaday!!! wonder, wonder, wonder... Never heard of such meaning. I gats start calling all the Tunde's *Tunaday* Tuna na fish sha. grin

it might be because the child is doing things the opposite way from what normally obtains.

Babies tend to sleep in the day and cry at night. A child who sleeps at night and cries during the daytime, would be unusual.

just guessing the reason, Oni might not strictly be a natural name, but it's close.
Oh smiley
Ive seen babies that cry during the day and sleep at night. But never saw it as anything special. Just felt they were seeking unnecessary attention.

OrlandoOwoh:
Within seven days, the nature of the cry of the baby would have been known to determine what it will be named. Most of these names are no longer fashionable. Even a name like "Okanlawon" (one in many) is rarely used. When used, it is usually informally to refer to a person that does not bear it as his name. A girl that is the only female among male is Okanlawon. The same thing applies to a boy.
Oh I see... but someone just mentioned that babies with such names aint amutorunwa, cos its more like circumstances surrounding their birth, just like Bidemi.

Never knew thats the meaning of Okanlowon.... I love the name ehnnn...... Thanks for making me know the meaning. Learnt something today smiley

I watched it last year on Oodua TV. There is even a name given to a child sleeps at night, but cries in the day.
Uhnnhuh Oga ooo....

But no one knows if the baby sleeps or cries in the womb na
So how did they come to the conclusion? Knowing that it takes 7 or 8 days to name a child.
