what happens when they try to call you for an offer and your phone is switched off? do they move to the next available person? I'm asking this because there were about 2 days that my phone was switched off

Please let`s say what we know. Please note the following. Some people have been given offers and have concluded medicals, awaiting offer letter. I know a few folks. SNBO recruitment of 2019 was not scrapped. They employed people. Some were placed on standby and were called up in batches. Some of people that passed the final interview only received regret mails just before the commencement of the current recruitment. So it could be a long drawn exercise. The reason they don`t immediately send regret mails to everybody is that some may reject the offer. People may leave in due course, so they have a pool of qualified candidates they can pick from when necessary so that they don`t have to conduct interviews everyday. Most of those that passed the final interview will not likely receive regret mail soon.
