Good evening @graceglory I noticed that when I ON my Panasonic TV MODEL TX-50EX700B it stays on for a few minutes and then goes off. when I try to turn it on again it stays on for a few seconds and then goes off again...please what can I do sir ?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO GUIDE THE PROCESSING OF NITP MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORMS

 

i) Application form in two original copies shall be filled and signed by each applicant and duly endorsed by the applicant’s sponsor, supporter, corroborators and the Chapter Chairman, accordingly. Photocopies shall not be accepted.

ii) Chapter Chairmen and sponsors should properly cross-check applicants’ forms before endorsing them.

iii) State Chapters, are advised, during oral interview, to cite the original copies of attached certificates and particularly pay attention to the work experience claimed by the applicant.

iv) Chapter Chairman is advised to ensure that applicant actually belongs to his/her Chapter before endorsing the applicant’s form.

v) Deadline for submission of application forms and oral interview results should be adhered to. Late submissions will no longer be tolerated.

vi) Membership application forms should be collected and sent en-bloc  with the oral interview results to the National Secretariat by the Chapter and not by the applicants themselves.

vii) All information to be supplied by applicants should be type-written, except signatures.

viii) The acceptable version of application form for candidates to fill is attached for proper guidance.

ix) Results of oral interview conducted by the relevant State Chapter and duly endorsed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Chapter, should be communicated on the letter head of the Chapter with the date of endorsement in the format attached herewith.

x) Each candidate’s result should be communicated on a separate sheet using the approved and attached template.

xi) Any applicant whose sponsor/s is/are owing annual subscription/s will not have his/her application processed further, unless the outstanding  subscription/s is/are paid.

xii) A member of the Institute is allowed to sponsor a maximum of three (3) full/graduate and/or five (5) student membership applicants per batch. However, a Head of Department of applicants for student membership can countersign forms of all the students applying from his department, regardless of the number of those involved.  

xiii) Council members are reminded that they are not to sponsor or support membership applications.

xiv) Applicants should note that each completed form is valid for only one (1) year.

•WARN NANS ZONAL LEADERS TO 'STEER CLEAR OF EKSU'

Students of Ekiti State University (EKSU) Ado Ekiti have dissociated themselves from activities said to have been planned by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone D on the current strike action by the academic staff members of the institution.

The executive of EKSU students union (EKSUSUG) said in a statement, on Sunday, that it was improper for NANS to have come to their institution without carrying the students along, and warned that the zonal leaders of NANS should “steer clear of EKSU premises and vicinity.”

In a statement signed by Ojo Abiodun Collins, President, EKSU SUG; Omorilewa Tomilola Vincent, Secretary and Olubiyo Joy, PRO, and made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the students said NANS Zone D Chairman and Treasurer should “steer clear from EKITI STATE University premises and Ekiti State metropolis as their unsolicited and unnecessary plans to cause harmful unrest and imbroglio on EKSU matter has been reported to the security agencies for lawful action.”

NANS zonal chairman and treasurer had, in a statement said the state government must do something for the quick resolution of the current strike by EKSU lecturers, and warned that the students would embark on.


But EKSU students union leaders frowned on the action of the zonal officers, saying NANS was taking unilateral action without carrying the students along.

EKSU SUG said: “The NANS Zone D Coordinator and Treasurer, if not for ignorance and administrative illiteracy, should know that they are bound both constitutionally and morally to consult the leadership of EKSU Students’ Union before issuing any press text on the matter concerning EKSU in the first place.

“This is because there are limits and boundaries underpinning students intergovernmental relations with respect to students structures and organogram.”


The students’ leaders said rather than the confrontation planned by NANS, which they said could exacerbate the dispute, they should allow the negotiations between the state government and the striking lecturers to be concluded.

“Ekiti State University Students are law-abiding students who believe in peaceful resolutions of conflict, and its leadership under our watch shall ensure all possible peaceful means to end the strike towards the hastening of our students’ resumption to school as soon as possible,” they stated.

According to them, they were aware that a number of issues in the dispute had been resolved, and that their “efforts through the intervention of the University Alumni Association and some members of the Governing Council gave birth to the ongoing reconciliation process between the leadership of ASUU and the State Government which has given birth to the following positive results: The issue of pencom has been resolved. Tax deduction has been reduced from initial 100 per cent to 60 per cent. There is assurance that the state government is also willing to pay two months subvention, being part of the conditions required to end the strike, to mention a few.”

They expressed the hope that their university would resume normal academic activities soon following this and charged EKSU students to ignore the threat and call to mass action by the zonal leadership of NANS.

LONDON -- Chelsea left N'Golo Kante out of their squad to take on Manchester City after the midfielder fainted at the club's training ground on Friday, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.
The France international was a surprise omission from Antonio Conte's matchday squad at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday despite having travelled to Manchester, with Chelsea attributing his absence to illness.
And sources confirmed that Kante fainted in the dressing room at Cobham following Chelsea's training session on Friday, prompting a shocked reaction from his teammates and a swift response from the club's medical staff. The Telegraph earlier reported Kante's health scare on Monday.
Kante was sent to a specialist to undergo a series of tests after regaining consciousness amid fears that he had suffered a heart problem, and while no underlying issues were discovered, Chelsea decided against including the midfielder in their plans to face City when he disclosed that he was still feeling unwell on Sunday morning.
There is a suggestion that the episode may have been the result of Kante returning to a warm dressing room after training in the extreme cold temperatures caused by the Siberian blast that swept across the UK last week, the sources said, though no definitive cause was found.
In any case, Chelsea were in no mood to take risks with Kante's health when news broke on Sunday morning of the sudden death of Fiorentina captain Davide Astori. Prosecutors have said the 31-year-old's cause of death is believed to be "cardiac arrest due to natural causes" but still opened an investigation on Monday.
Chelsea are confident that Kante's issue was a one-off, s
ources said, and he is expected to return to contention for Saturday's home match against Crystal Palace with a view to starting against Barcelona at Camp Nou next week, having trained on his own at Cobham on Monday.
