Well, i dont have a single clue about engines and all that, but i have driven a 5 series new model, brand new for close to 5 years and all i can say is that its only worth the trouble when u have like 3 other low maintenance cars and use it as a jackpot, in order words just for those big occasions.Otherwise u should be deliciously wealthy or else it will turn u into a broke ass.Do u know that just one of it head lights cost about N80,000 to replace, and thats just starters and since like other cars u cant have any street mechanic handle it in emergencies, you will burn money on service centers and all. Recently,i was unfortunate to loss my keys and i found out its impossible to cut a spare or do anything else so its been sleeping gracefully, waiting for the new key i ordered from Germany to arrive, what a waste, i say. Its an official car thats why i put up with it. Well, forget the beauty, class and prestige it commands, it is totally 100% high maintenance.

I believe IGBINEDION UNIVERSITY, is an okay school in regards to Studies, it may not have the best amenities i agree so its a case of what one deems as important,education or amenities. So far, its the most "liberal " Private University as the others like Babcock, Convenant, Macdonna etc try to conform its students to the religious beliefs of the proprietors, i think that is enslaving the minds of the students and not grooming them.

Secondly, in terms of Accreditation, most Universities that have existed for over 10 years are still to get full accreditation, so why "kill" this baby school for still working on its. Most of its departments however have been fully accredited so far,

Thirdly, its not the lecturers that makes good graduates but rather the hardwork of the graduates themselves and guidelines from their lectures. The school has sent 3 sets of graduates to the law school and the world watched comparing its 2.1 to a 3rd class to schools like Unilag,etc , but 3 times and this last time was a big blow too, its graduates repeated the same good grades even producing a 1st class. Now, the Law School is an open field where all the best and the worst from all universities in Nigeria meet and mentally challenge themsleves, what happened to all the others that did not purchase their degrees or perhaps the graduates of IGBINEDION bought over the Law School too!

Finally,how many of the other private universities is owned and run by one man? Most are by church boards, and social boards so funds is more available as long as people go to church every sunday, pay tithes and give offering.

In a nutshell, all i'm saying is that, the school is not as terrible as people dress it up to be, its like life: you get what you go there expecting thats all.

@ ThoniaSlim , Well, it maybe true that Igbinedion University "makes mouth" but in terms of academics i believe the School is sound though i wont say the same for its infrastructures and amenities in comparism to its tution charges and all
This is not a mere quote, you can check for yourself , the outstanding performance its law graduates displayed in the Nigerian Law Schol of late, they produced a 1st class both at the uni. level and Law Schol and also several 2.1s at the same two levels.

I think in terms of aademics, IGBINEDION UNIVERSITY in particular, the LAW FACULTY, is a force to be reckoned with.

Thanks for ur words of encouragement. Sometimes i wonder if these tests do justice to those of us in the legal profession who for some 5 yrs deal with written laws and statutes and such, and never calculations or such thus the calculation really takes us aback except when we come fully prepared.

That has been my problem, so i have decided to stop sending out cvs and just get prepared instead, find someone to help me master the test formats, so that the next test i go for, i will be able to do better. I pray i get that chance soon as i really do need a job.
