Christianity EtcRe: God's "Perfect Plan" To Save Humanity by Vifx(op): 4:04pm On May 05
Truthseeker10:
So all the suffering and evil in the world today is actually God's plan before he Created humanity?
If God is all-knowing and all-powerful, then everything that happens including suffering and evil, was fully known to him before creation. And if he created the world anyway, then those outcomes weren’t accidents; they were either intended, accepted, or built into the design.

You can’t claim God knew everything in advance, had unlimited power to do otherwise, and then argue that the current state of the world is somehow outside his plan. If he foresaw it and still went ahead, it’s part of the package.
Christianity EtcGod's "Perfect Plan" To Save Humanity by Vifx(op): 3:49pm On May 05
We all know that God is perfect. He’s omniscient; all-knowing. He knows the past, the present, and the future. He’s omnipresent; present everywhere, all of the time. And he’s omnipotent, meaning all-powerful.
He’s also omnibenevolent; perfectly good and all-loving. This is probably his most important quality, and ironically, for some reason, it’s often overlooked. Probably because of all the suffering, tragedy, and death that happen constantly.
But it didn’t have to be this way. See, that’s on us. But God gave us a way out of this mess. It’s called salvation.
Now, the story of salvation is the cornerstone of Christianity. It’s a beautiful story and the most profound act of love the universe has ever known. It’s about a perfect God, his perfect creation, and a perfect plan to redeem humanity, not by force, but through grace, mercy, and the ultimate sacrifice a loving creator could ever make: sending his own Son, who’s also him, to atone through his own death for a fallen, sinful, and corrupt…
Okay, I know, I just said it was perfect. Okay, originally it was perfect. All right? It was. But, you know, because God, through love and wisdom, gave man free will, and then deliberately left him ignorant, and then left a talking snake in the garden
You know what? We’ll get back to that.
The point is, God loves humanity so much, he was willing to die for us. That’s the nature of divine love. It’s like when someone says, “I love you so much, I’d die for you.” Except God’s love is even greater than that. He said, “I love you so much, I kill myself for you, in order to save you from… well, me, ultimately, because you did the things I already knew you were going to do, because I made you that way, and I know everything that’s going to happen before it happens.”
Look, it’s complicated. But just because it’s complicated doesn’t mean it’s not true.
Okay, let’s break it down.
Humanity sinned because Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, which God told them not to eat, but also put right in the middle of the garden for some reason. Look It was obviously a test. A test that humanity, because of its flaws that God created by design, could never hope to pass.
But just to make sure, he put an evil talking snake there, who was also Satan, whom God also created originally as an angel, by the way. Yeah, Satan was originally a beautiful angel up in heaven, God’s favorite angel, in fact. But God knew that one day he would rebel and become his ultimate foe, further tempting and corrupting humanity. But he created him anyway.
What was I talking about?
Oh right.
He put Satan in the garden disguised as a snake to tempt Adam and Eve, as a test, I’m guessing. And then, when Adam and Eve did the thing they were told not to do, which God knew they were going to do, because he set things up that way, he got really pissed. I mean, wouldn’t you? Of course you would.
But instead of annihilating them and starting over with like Adam and Eve 2.0, he had mercy on them, because that’s what a loving God does. So he didn’t annihilate them. No. Instead, as an act of love, he just… you know… cursed them and all of their offspring forever.
But it’s okay, because like I said, God had a plan, a perfect plan to fix the curse that he imposed for the test that he designed, knowing we’d fail.
He decided to… well, wait a few thousand years, just to let humanity hopelessly flawed from birth, wrestle with Satan and his demons for a bit. You know, let us stew for a while in the stress and trauma brought about by competition for limited resources, floods, typhoons, earthquakes, volcanoes, disease, plagues, slavery, rape, child abuse, war, genocide, murder, torture, and the occasional execution.
And then, when the time was right, around the height of the Roman Empire, for some reason he sent his Son, who is also him, but also not him. You know, like a completely separate guy, but totally him. He sent him to earth to die.
Because now, follow me here, God’s justice requires blood. Lots of blood. Like way more blood than you think would be necessary to forgive someone. But he’s God you know, he knows exactly how much blood is required for forgiveness, because forgiveness doesn’t come free. It requires a certain amount of gore.
So Jesus, who is God, willingly offers himself to God, who is also himself, to satisfy the demands of God, who is him. And he does it by allowing us to brutally execute him because he loves us.
But here's the kicker, he didn’t remain dead. No. He was only dead for like a day and a half. Well, technically three days and two nights. He spent the weekend in hell, it was kind of like a package deal. He redeemed all the souls down there and then triumphantly rose from the dead on Sunday morning.
That was the first Easter, by the way. But it didn’t include bunny rabbits, colored eggs, or chocolate. That’s like a whole other thing, it stems from paganism
You know what, forget I mentioned that.
The point is, because God did that for himself, he has atoned for our sins, and everything is different now even though it all looks exactly the same because now he can forgive us. See? That’s the difference.
But it only works if you believe Jesus is God. Otherwise you still just go to hell and burn forever.
Which makes you wonder why he had to kill himself in the first place. You know what I mean? Like, it didn’t really seem to change anything. I mean, look: if it only requires belief in Jesus to go to heaven, why all the blood? Couldn’t he have just come down, performed a bunch of miracles, and then risen up to heaven in front of millions of witnesses? That way we’d all believe without all the mess.
Besides, global appearances with public miracles would have created a lot more believers than, you know, a bloody death and resurrection in one small part of the world that nobody really knew about.
Also, doesn’t a blood sacrifice seem more in line with something Satan would want? I mean, be honest: if Satan came up from hell and said, “Hey, let’s have a good man tortured to death, and this way everybody can be forgiven,” most people would say, “No, that’s evil, man.” But see God does it, and it’s holy.
See, that’s why you shouldn’t question God. Because it just… it just leads to migraines, and then all your hair falls out.

CareerRe: Oracle Fires 30,000 Employees As A Result Of AI Revolution by Vifx: 12:39pm On Apr 01
I get the point, but framing the cuts as “AI-driven efficiency gains” actually lands better than saying it’s about financial pressure or keeping shareholders happy. People understand technological shifts; they don’t appreciate corporate spin about budgets. Putting the emphasis on advances in AI makes the decision sound strategic rather than desperate.
