Even in Mark 9, belief isn't presented as a universal law of manifestation. It's a specific narrative about faith in God's power and not evidence that thoughts or names inherently shape reality.

Adeniyi Adeyemi's claim that he borrowed ₦100 million to secure an appointment as Director-General of the now-disputed Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) is staggering.

The Presidency says the PFIPC does not exist and that Adeyemi was never appointed. If that's true, it raises an even bigger question: how was a supposedly fake government agency able to appear so official?

If Adeyemi is lying, then it is an extraordinary case of alleged fraud and impersonation. If he's telling the truth, then public appointments are allegedly being bought and sold. Either way, it exposes serious institutional failures.

Even more revealing is that those who allegedly lent him the money have reportedly petitioned the EFCC not because they objected to paying for an appointment, but because they want their money back.

The investigation must establish the facts. But one thing is already clear: this saga has exposed just how vulnerable public institutions are to fraud or how believable allegations of influence-peddling have become in Nigeria.

I think we're talking past each other.

You keep interpreting my questions as a lack of sincerity, rather than engaging with them. Disagreement isn't the same as unwillingness to learn.

If God's way of revealing Himself is indistinguishable from every other religion saying, "Seek sincerely and you'll know," then that's the very issue I'm asking about. Saying, "You're not serious enough," doesn't answer it, it just makes the claim imposible to disprove. Anyone who isn't convinced can always be told they didn't seek hard enough.

Everybody has the spirit of God inside of them, God lives in the heart of men not in a building or edifice.

Let me tell you my own profound experience.
I used to work in a big pharmaceutical company, I was in a better position earning good and living large.

I don't have time for church or the things of God, not that i don't believe that there is God but my curiosity of not wanting to have any relationship with Him took the better side of me.
I used to gamble, drink and hang around with smokers and flirters.

In 2023, I lost everything to ground zero, nobody actually told me to seek the face of God, I did on my own.
I met alot of fake pastors, fake prophets and prophetess but i still held on to seeking the face of God.

I went to anywhere there is church camps, mountain, many church programmes, crusade and revival just to seek His face.

Something mysterious start happening to me, I started getting visions of things to come or happen mostly in my dreams (not exaggerating, 💯 % fact).

I currently work in a college, I have colleagues that i have said one or two things to and it came to pass, I even told one that I saw him that he fell down and did not stand up that he should be careful, 2 days later he was sacked, so I kind of know my little gift now even though then I was praying for mercy, blessing and a good job but God was spiritualizing my life.

The things that God have for us is much more than what we can actually think or imagine of, the only problem is that men that seek power will always want to change the narratives; even in the animal kingdom there is always an authority.

See bro, the world has been in existence way before man was created, so there some secret things you just have to flow in the spiritual before it can sometimes manifest; our spirit are very active.

The greatest religion in life, is being charitable and generous to the less privileged, widows/widowers and also keep yourself unspotted from the world; read James 1 vs 25:27.

The meaning of freewill in the beginning was that God wanted man to trust Him even though you have your own FREEWILL.

Even if you don't believe in a CREATOR, just know that this world is govern by law and principles. Like the proverbial saying "whatever you sow you reap".

When you get some things easily, you will never know the worth just until you loose them.

Bro thanks for sharing that. I genuinely respect your openness, and I'm glad you found purpose after going through such a difficult period. E no easy Losing everything can change a person, and I don't doubt that your experiences have felt deeply real and meaningful to you. I pray you only continue to soar higher and higher.

Where I differ is in what I think those experiences demonstrate. People from many different religions, and even people with no religion report dreams, visions, intuitions, remarkable coincidences, and profound personal transformations. Those experiences are undeniably real to the person having them, but they don't necessarily tell us which religious worldview is true.

I also appreciate what you said about charity and caring for the vulnerable. If there's one thing humanity can agree on, it's that compassion makes the world better.

So my question isn't whether you've had profound experiences. It's whether personal experiences alone are a reliable way to distinguish between truth and sincere belief. That's a question I think all of us Christian, Muslim, Hindu, atheist should ask.

Are there false prophets who try to twist Gods word? The answer is yes…but again God doesn’t hide. And well it’s the Glory of God to conceal a matter and honour of kings to search it out as the Bible said…now not to sound demeaning…but I have a Bible and I believe you too have…I have more understanding of the word of God because I submitted to it…it doesn’t mean I’m better than you…but I’ve learnt how to apply the same Bible that we all have access to to my life and know God better and who I am in Christ. It doesn't really address my point does it? Saying "God doesn't hide" while also quoting a verse that says "it's the glory of God to conceal a matter" is a bit contradictory.

And saying you understand the Bible because you've submitted to it isn't evidence that it's true either. Every religion has devoted followers who say the same thing about their scriptures Heck Muslims do say the same thing about the Quran. The question isn't whether commitment produces conviction cos yes it often does. My question is why an all-loving God would make knowledge of Himself depend on interpreting an ancient collection of texts so that equally sincere people arrive at incompatible conclusions leading to all kinds of confusion and false prophets like yu acknowledged

Did you notice that you had to go straight to East Asia to mention countries? In fact, none of those mostly historically communist nations had their government investing in industry except when they were preparing for war.

The Chinese government builds industry because, in its system of governance, they OWN ALL THE SYSTEMS OF PRODUCTION. There is nothing like a private system there. There is only a pseudo-private enterprise, but the government is still running the show. That is why no one takes China seriously.

Again, I say, there is the core duty of government. Security, food, health, and housing are part of it. Enterprise is never a part of it.

I never argued that governments should replace private enterprise. The point was that many successful economies didn't leave industrial development entirely to the market. They used industrial policy through financing, subsidies, tariffs, infrastructure, education, and strategic planning to help private firms grow.

PS, China certainly has a strong state presence, but it's inaccurate to say there's "nothing like a private system." Private companies account for a large share of China's employment, innovation, and exports, even under significant state oversight.

As for "the core duty of government," that's a political philosophy, not an objective fact. Different countries define the role of government differently. History shows that governments can provide security, health, education, and infrastructure while also supporting industrial development. Those roles aren't mutually exclusive.

Condemnation is easy. The real test is whether justice follows, through arrests, prosecution, and consequences, not just another strongly worded statement

I get what you’re saying because I’ve been there before…there’s a reason why Jesus spoke in parables a lot…it’s not because he was trying to play hard to get…it’s because in the kingdom of God not every truth will be easy for everyone to accept….thats why even nicodemus went to Jesus at night and Jesus broke things down for him..and even his disciples after attending to the crowd because guess what crowds where following him simply because he multiplied bread and they could eat…and the minute he said “ i am the bread of life come down from heaven” the crowd deserted him.

But that's still assuming the conclusion. You're explaining why people who already believed Jesus was from God reacted the way they did. The question is earlier than that: why would a God who wants a relationship with everyone make His existence and message so open to interpretation that billions of sincere people reach different conclusions, and being misled by different doctrines, different denominatn, all types of "prophets" claiming their own interpretation is the right one? 🤷🏽

A relationship requires both parties to know the other exists. If God's priority is friendship, hiding behind ambiguity and parables seems like an odd thing to do abi you don't want them to accept the message

If God truly reached out first and wants everyone saved, why is sincere confusion so common? "Seek harder" sounds less like an answer and more like customer support telling you to restart your laptop

If passing is "to the glory of God," then failing the first attempt can't conveniently be ignored. Her hard work is the clearest part of the story.

Interesting that an all-powerful God repeatedly tells humans to run from temptation instead of removing it. If the solution is always "flee," then the credit belongs more to human self-control than to divine intervention. Joseph ran because Joseph chose to run, not because God made the temptation disappear.

He said, "Jesus loves you." Speed said, "Thank you, bro." That's called being polite, not evidence that "the Gospel is gaining more ground." One brief interaction doesn't tell us what anyone believes, it just shows two people having a civil exchange.
