Planting pawpaw and plantain around your snail farm, serve two purposes: 1. It provides shade for the anails. 2. The leaves and the fruits also serve as feed for your snails.

During this dry season, make sure your pen is always moist. But, do not over water it and cause it to waterlog. Time to water: Very early in the morning and later on the evening. If you make your pen conducive for your snails and give them enough calcium, they can still give your eggs during this dry season.

Snails are very easy to maintain. Your pen may only need your attention early morning and evening. Thereby giving you time to do other things.
