Yep! He's working though there are murmurings in some quarters. Some civil servants claimed they have not been paid for the past 3 months despite having gone through the rigorous verification exercise.
Claims of him sacking some 7000 Abia civil servants,claims which his administration has vehemently denied. They said they fished out some ghost workers and laid off those who were shoddily employed in the twilight of the past administration.
He's amending some roads that were constructed by the Okezie administration and at the same time constructing others.
He set up a security outfit, codenamed Operation Crush,to fight crime and insecurity, though Abia recorded little or no insecurity under the Okezie administration.
He removed touts and digitalized tax payment.
A constant war of words between this new administration and the immediate past one.
His media aide, Ferdinand Ekeoma, very active, explaining every needed details about the government's decisions and activities to ndi Abia. A vibrant opposition coming from the PDP! No more beautiful time to live in Abia than now. The media houses aren't relenting too.
Everyone is clutching a small phone to follow up on every detail.
I just hope that man was not killed by those bandits because of the Operation Crush set up to deal with them? Very sad indeed. May God intervene here in Abia State.
