That situation is called unilaterral cryptorchid, the testicles develops in the abdomen and travels down to the scrotum, in situations like this, the best bet is to wait till about a year, and if it does not show up castrate him because the stuck testicle still in the abdomen is bound to cause cancerous tissue, (cancer) besides, it will be bad for breeding.

its actually 2 but the issue is the second one has not descend, just chill a little, its stuck somewhere in between the abdomen, if the second one doesnt descend , then you might have to consider it castrated, how old is the dog this will enable us give you answer.

Normally it should drop between 6 to 8 months but you can wait till 12 months and if it doesnt then wahala dey

Thanks for your response. Have you had a dog in the past with similar issue? Was the dog able to breed properly? I read some article online that suggested that dogs with only one testicle should not be allowed to cross with females.

Please anyone with good info and experience on this issue should please advise me on this subject.

I have a 5 months old Caucasian pup and few days ago, while playing with him, I realized he only has one testicle.

My concern now is that are there any health issues that could arise as a result of this abnormally? Can he still mate when he's fully grown? Or should I just castrate him?

A student of Benson Idahosa university (BIU) Today, a student of the school Justin (pictured left), a 200l of International Studies and Diplomacy died at the school annex medical facility. Three days ago, the deceased who was the only son of a single mother was ill and went to the school clinic for medication, he was immediately admitted in the school clinic without being examined and drips were admitted on him for three days. Justin (the deceased) was ignored on the sick bed with drips on him. It was late this morning that the negligent nurses noticed the boy's lifeless body but it was too late as his pcv had dropped to 13. He was rushed to the school apex hospital (Faith Mediplex, which is also owned by the school's president, FEB Idahosa)
This evening, the students gathered at the clinic and revolted as the death of Justin was sudden and was caused by the negligence of the 'very rude' nurses, the riot which was as a result of the death was also propagated by other vexations such as lack of water, electricity amongst other things.
The school authorities are now threatening the students with increment in fees and expulsion of the students.
Attached to this mail are pictures from the scene. The windows were smashed and the door broken down coupled with other forms of violence. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace
