Good morning house, for two months after my last interview I have been unable to create another appointment. It keeps showing me ‘pending appointment request’ from the last interview. Please does anyone know how I can go about this I already raised a ticket and called them multiple times.

Greetings house! please who else is experiencing this? My last interview was over a month ago and since then I haven’t been able to start a new application. It’s still showing pending appointment request. Please does any one have suggestions on how I should go about this. Thank you!

Hello house, please I’m trying to start a new application and pay for another Mrv fee after been refused a visa, but it’s still showing ‘pending appointment request’ for two weeks now and I don’t see any option for creating a new application except the group one. Please should I create a new account on the website for this.

Good evening house, please I have my interview coming up but I initially rescheduled my appointment because my passport wasn’t 6 months beyond the program end date, I applied for a new passport and have completed a new ds160 with the new passport number. Please which one should I give the Vo during interview, the old passport and ds160 or the new passport and new ds160. Also do I need to explain it to the officer once I’m there for the interview. Thank you!

Greetings everyone, I had a previous visa appointment which I later rescheduled because the new appointment letter states that applicant must come with a passport that is 6 months beyond program end date, my passport at the moment was only two months beyond it so I applied for a new passport and moved my interview date. So please my question now is should I fill another ds160 because the new renewed passport has a different passport number but the old one is still written on the same passport as well. Also at the embassy which passport I’m I suppose to give to the VO because even my old one isn’t expired(still has around 1 year 6 months) but it doesn’t meet the beyond 6 months criteria. Thank you!

Hello please who else is having issues while trying to reschedule appointment in Abuja. When I book a slot It says something is wrong and when I do it again it says there’s no date available in this location but I’m actually seeing available ones

Good day everyone, please I have received advice on this here already. But I decided to attach the appointment confirmation letter here too. In this first instruction does it necessarily mean I should come with a passport that is valid 6 months after my program end date or 6 months before my intended stay. I’m really confused here can someone help me out 🙏🏽

Sorry for bothering you again sir. I have seen other available dates for rescheduling but I have already selected a certain intended arrival date in my ds160 and also on the new AVits website. The dates I’m seeing now for rescheduling surpasses it but it’s this Same September. Please do you think I should go ahead with rescheduling or do I need to fill another ds160 with a new arrival date. Thank you!

Thank you for your response sir, yes by canceling the appointment I actually meant ‘rescheduling’ until my new passport is ready.
And please if I try to reschedule my appointment will it automatically cancel the current interview date I already secured. Thank you

Good day please . I have applied for a new passport but my capturing is scheduled on the day of my visa interview. The passport isn’t expired, but it expires a month after my program in the U.S ends and the new embassy policy is to come with a passport 6 months beyond program end date( as stated on the appointment confirmation)
My passport expires in 2026, should I proceed with my current passport for visa interview or should I cancel the visa appointment and go for my passport capturing and wait for a new interview date. Please I need your help

The preapproval stage took me about 2 days so please be patient

Good morning house, please after confirming my appointment, I saw that I’m expected come with ‘A passport valid for travel to the United States with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S.
And my passport expires the next month after my program in the U.S ends. Please does this mean I should cancel the appointment.

Good morning house, please after making the visa fee payment at the bank and returning to the visa website does it automatically take you to the next step because mine is still showing generate even after I made the payment since Friday. Please can anyone help with this.

No it wasn't through emergency, the lagos consulate sent email to check out for dates.

Pay into a dom account in Naija if the person is from Naija and operates a dom account. You can pay into their Naira account, if they have a Naira account… Does your friend have a trusted 3rd party who can accept $ or its equivalent value, in Naija?

Good day all, please what is the easiest way to send money to someone in u.s. A friend wants to assist me with the sevis fee payment but i don't know any means of sending the funds. P.s i tried western union already.
