Niccoloimhotep:
these are serious allegations of theft you are labeling against me just like that because this is a faceless forum, You are a woman, and i expect you to start acting as such. What's the big deal in changing the colour of a car to something more demanded? The car in duscussion is in my house, a look at all the cars i ever have posted on this forum are mostly from this same compound with my ash colour personal lexus car always beside it. I work at British American Tobacco in ibadan, and does car sales biz as a second source of income, who would be stupid enough to market a stolen car in his house? The custom paper bears the vin number as in the car pix, the car arrived into Nigeria in may this year which is about 4 months ago. Feel free to come for inspection and verification at custom office as i will give you the custom papers to do that. Lets be mindful what we say to people online, not everybody has the mind to bear the hurts. Peace!

That person is not a female. the person also has another username that is male named George or something, the person is also spamming threads here with a potential scam advert for one ancient of days camry, please ignore the person.

From what I can see the colour was just changed, no big deal. Isn't that the whole point of posting the vin number so people can go and check?

Happy sales bro

Car Talk / Re: 9 Facts You Need To Know About Your Car VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) by VINCheckNL: 8:43pm On Oct 05, 2018
CarGuideNG:

Great topic.

We specialise in providing Comprehensive Vehicle History Reports

A significant proportion of vehicles imported to Nigeria are salvaged and have all sorts of dangerous damage, it would be very short sighted and a serious error to purchase any vehicle without a VIN history report. CarGuideNG provides that service.

In conjunction with expert vehicle inspection, the aim is to have a comprehensive idea of the past and present condition of any vehicle.

The reports are inexpensive and well worth it, compared to the value of the vehicle and the potential dangerous history the report would protect a buyer from, such as accidents and collisions, flood or water damage, fire or severe heat damage, vandalism, mileage tampering or odometer rollback, and a lot more.

*Technically some vehicles have VIN less than 17 digits, and it's also possible to run a VIN check for some vehicles manufactured before 1980, for instance the 1966 Ford Mustang featured in the other independence day drive topic has 6R07T130262 as the 11 digit VIN.

Most average or regular history platforms would be unable to process it because it's less than 17 digits and it's beyond the scope of history databases like CarFax, AutoCheck and other European vehicle reports, or Middle Eastern vehicle reports.

With the right tools however it's possible to decode it to determine the location and year of manufacture, body configuration, engine and transmission type, and other specifications.

With the right specialized tools and sources it's also possible to gain history records for it.

For such vehicles it goes beyond the regular generic CarFax or AutoCheck or scanty European vehicle history reports average consumers and other average history platforms are familiar with.

wehdon Sir

Nice info mynd4 lalasticlala

My own is nobody should pay 1 kobo for NMVTIS check. Only pay for carfax or autocheck, around 2000 to 4000 naira. Only greedy people sell what someone can get for free, if you need NMVTIS report check my thread and you receive it free of charge

Modified

lol they have now come to sell NMVTIS report
Nobody should pay for such please, you only need to pay for carfax or autocheck report or any other types of reports.

@VINcheckNL this has got nothing to do with annoyance. And that 39.6m IS NOT WHAT I QUOTE. It is what it is. You can verify it yourself and am sure someone like you will only get convinced if you see the fact with your own eyes.

That car was advertised for 200,000 grand which is like 72 mil, there's no way it was sold for half that.
Your figures are wrong.
Celebrities / Re: Linda Ikeji Accused Of Lying About The Price Of Her Bently by VINCheckNL: 12:11am On Sep 23, 2018
my post this morning:

VINCheckNL:

Lol bros the stock number is gc002254 and the vin number is SCBBF7ZH0GC002254, that's a 2016 bentley mulsanne, it had one owner before it was bought early this month, 11,000 miles is like new, though over here once a car leaves a new car lot and after that it's sold, it would be sold as used, no matter the mileage.
also the amount it was displayed for sale was 199,000 dollars which is like 72 million, likely sold for less.
if e pain you like that why not start a thread and post all this info so we can help you and comment.

I guess someone took the hint

The purpose of my comment was to point out 2 things:
1. The car was not newly ordered nor was it Brand New
2. She didnt pay 120m for it

I dont know how you come about your 72m displayed amount, but the actual amount that car was sold for was 39.6m. Running a Vincheck will not give you those details. At least your comment proved my point to a large extent. The people deserve to know the truth.

1. She never said it was newly ordered.

2. Please show me an official source where she said it was brand new

3. Lol bros you're not the only one with access to info. That car was advertised by Bentleyatlanta.com, located in Alpharetta, Georgia. It was advertised for 199,000 dollars like I mentioned.

4. I never said it was sold for that figure. if you looked well you'd have seen I said it was likely sold for less than the 199,000 USD/72 million naira, but certainly nowhere near the 39.6 million you keep quoting.

5. Please show me an official source where she said it cost 120 million bros.

see, just open your own thread and vent your annoyance.

WHY DOES NIGERIAN CELEBRITIES LIE SO MUCH AND LIVE FAKE LIVES. SHE DID NOT ORDERED THIS Bentley Mulsanne brand new as she makes you people think.

That is a used Bentley Mulsanne. Every Major car dealer in the United States must display on the windows of every car sold the status of the car as per whether it was new or USED.

This Bentley is USED and OUT OF WARRANTY. That was why the dealer AS REQUIRED BY Law CONSPICIOUSLY DISPLAYED THAT THE CAR DOES NOT COME WITH ANY WARRANTY AS IT IS USED .

IF YOU look closely at the 2 boxes.....YOU WILL SEE WHERE THE DEALER CHECKED THAT THE CAR WAS NOT NEW AND NOT EVEN UNDER DEALER WARRANTY OR MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY.

These people in the west keep detailed records of everything. The price she paid for this Mulsanne is 39.6MILLION NAIRA if you calculate at the rate of 360naira to $1.

Further checks on this car based on the VIN number/ dealer Inventory stock number gc002254 and the temporary registration number23842587 that will expire on October 28, 2018 CLEARLY proves that this vehicle is a few years old.

Bentley changed the front grille of the Mulsanne starting with the year 2017 model. So this one being flaunted all over the place is an OLD/USED/AND OUT OF WARRANTY MULSANNE.

Autos / Free NMVTIS Vin Checks by VINCheckNL: 10:41am On Aug 26, 2018
hello good people of nairaland.com

It has come to my attention that someone here is selling NMVTIS history reports for 2000 naira for a report

That is wrong because unlike autocheck or carfax one can get NMVTIS for free online

It is greedy to turn around and sell them for 2000 naira

please if you want a free NMVTIS vin report just post the vin number and your email addy I will send the reports as soon as possible

we should be trying to make vin number checks awareness better by giving free reports where necessary, and not by selling something you got for free for such an amount

if you want a full and detailed history you still need to pay them for autocheck and Carfax but for NMVTIS please don't pay anybody
