Who says there's no extra time??
A winner must EMERGE tonight.

Welbeck has been disappointing!!! He's let FERGIE down tonight.
i like that statement a lot. i've a funny feeling as to who that winner is.
BBBBBBBBBBBBBBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVV!!
Welcome. get a goal and our running beef is over.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by vinisky: 5:55pm On Apr 19, 2009
So no extra time?damn we have added another game to our crazy schedule. kudos to the boys, they tried. mike riley the self-servicer robbed us of a penalty and now we have to play this semifinal again. by the way where would the final of the fa cup be played?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by vinisky: 5:46pm On Apr 19, 2009
berbatov warming up grin. the goal poacher himself cool. i hope he comes on.
Cristalz:
@vinisky
I know they are trying, but this isn't complex. . .reduce the unnecessary passes, attempt more sensible shots. Perhaps they want a penalty shoot out.

Berba getting set to come on. . .fresh legs for ET.
lol!!!

We are beating Arsenal HOME N AWAY!!!!

Arsenal are doomed
. . . . . . . .There's no way Wenger can get better of Fergie in European competition.
Wenger does not have the tactical nous to upstage Fergie.

Anderson should be named MOTM.
He won the midfield for United. His strength in the middle of the pack was top draw.
Money cannot buy that.
i second that declaration and it's A and Amen. Anderson is back, the midefield general is hale and hearty and he's ready to terrorize all who who stand in our way. Alex Ferguson is a genius, Anderson hasn't played in months and he puts in action against his old club where he fought for every ball and still put in an assist for the Goal as a whole the whole team supberly than they did last week. i really believe with Anderson, Rio, Raphael and Wes brown coming back, that our form in the league will really begin to pick up. United 4 laif.

Glory glory Man united,

Glory glory Man united,

Glory glory Man united,

And the reds go marching on on on.

First off, i would like to apologize to both cristalz and mukina2 for misbehaving and bagoma for not being a gentleman. My behavior was uncalled for, she's a lady and i'm (hat in hand) sorry cry
That said, we won. The hard way is the only way for manchester united. Even the great alex ferguson has given up a long time ago in not letting our players make things difficult for ourselves. Too many times we paint ourselves into corners where it's really difficult for us to get out and one way or the other we just break out of jail. i've always said that when i'm 50 yrs of age i'll stop following Man united as feverently as i do now because i doubt if my heart can withstand the pressure of skipping too many times. I mean it's has become an habit for us to live on the edge for no reason whatsoever as if we don't give an F what happens. Anyways,we won,we in semifinals, i'm back on nairaland in the family of the Red devils and i'm happy.
Glory Glory.

@bagoma
u're a useless biotch pls next time stay away from the threads of champions u must be utterly stupid to think we would just lay down and loose , we're champions we make things difficult for ourselves ,that's why we're manchester united, we played this similar kind of match at everton 2006/2007 season everton were up 2 nil in the 2nd half around the 56th min and chelsea with mourinho were up 2-1 had we lost that game our lead at the table would have cut to 3 points but united as the comeback kings of football scored 4 goals to win while chelsea with the so called special one drew. i dare to say as sauron said the previous day we would carry it in may and i don't give 2 F's that we let liverpool back into the dance i don't care if we've lost a possible 6 points to just lead by 1 point i dare to say we'll carry it May why? Because we're Machester United and we just never Die. United till i Die!!!

debosky:
Two games in hand? Meaningless for now.

The only points that count are those on the board - Villa could trounce y'all tomorrow and then what?

I'd hate it if Liverpool won, but still, the scummies need to be pushed till the very last day of the season at least.

@ DK

Humiliated 5-1 in the league? :I'd rather be 10 points behind the leaders than be humiliated and have players slapping each other grin grin[/b]
@ debosky
what're you talking about?who slapped who? on which team?

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by vinisky: 7:13am On Mar 24, 2009
my fellow mancs, i've been away for awhile and during those periods we've suffered some mauling both from liverfools and fulham f.c. liverpool's loss was something i attributed to exhaustion and i waved it off as a bad day from which our boys would recover from. imagine my surprise been informed by gayners and the other rent boys (chelski and the usual suspects) that we had lost to fulham. a team that not quite too long ag we beat up 4 nil. i was not happy but i wouldn't say i was sad because now is not the time to complain or make excuses, now is the time for us to flock under the banner and fight hard for our boys, club and honor. i would like to implore all our fans that we should not think about the fa cup or champions league,we should just think about the next game.it's imperative we do this because our enemies want us to stumble in our quest for glory that their so called clubs can never attain.its now that the mettle of champions are being tested. Sir alex has always warned about this situation that it happens. this will just be stumbling blocks onto our path to history. we'll not fail.liverpool will not win and come may we'll retain the trophy. United till i die!!!

i'm happy for ronney as the past 2 seasons he was having difficulties scoring especially in one on one situations. this season he has been marvellous scoring at every opportuned moment. Long live Wazza, Long live MUFC!!!

@  sauron
we really should start tevez against inter because it's going to be a battle at old trafford. Mourinho knows only a draw will suffice for inter milan to go ahead and he'll attempt to hit us early in the game and defend and counter. we can't allow that to happen
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by vinisky: 7:14pm On Mar 07, 2009
i love the way this game is being played. nice, fast, flowing football. tevez starting in this game really factors in that regard. to be sincere, it's being awhile since we last played like this, it all looks new to me   which is a  testament to how we can reinvent our (Manchester United) game.we've being playing controlled football alot this season unlike the pervious seasons where we were running people off the pitch. i like both styles of the football we're playing i just pre fer the one i'm presently witnessing  better.

damn we had 17 total shots and 9 on target fulhamhad 5 shots and none on target. we never play fair grin,Edwin van der sar can set an entire new record amongst european goal keepers when we paly blackburn, though it will be a tough match as they're in relegation zone. the champions keep on marching on.
