Kushites: Thank you.
One thing many of these guys forget is that Lagos is not the capital of Nigeria.
If you want to protest, go to the nation’s capital and protest.
Or you can even go to your village and protest from there. Why did Tinibu not Protest Against Jonathan from Osun state or Abuja?😒😒 How about Soyinka? Why didn't he move to his Ogun state or his Village to protest?😕 You Guys think you can deceive others like you deceive Urselves, abi?😏 |

This Argument as sponsored by Helinius and his band of Unemployed, Mummy's Fed Boys makes no Sense. If a Bini Business Man has done Business in Asaba for 20years and he wants to celebrate the Anniversary, Can you Tell him to move to Benin City to Celebrate?😏 If a Yoruba Tailor in Onitsha is Celebrating his Business achievements, Can anyone tell him to go Oshogbo or Akure to celebrate?🙁 NO! You Celebrate with your Well-Wishers, Clients and Friends around your Abode.🙂 For PROTEST, It is Same thing. Protest in your Place of Residence because that's where you Pay ur Tax and Rents. So Pls Agbad0rians like Helinius, Try get SENSE. Thank you. 🙏🙏🙂 |

Very True. Every Protest is supposedly Peaceful. But Once you send in Military personnel with Teargas and Rubber Bullets, Then it becomes Violent. Jonathan never did things like that. It was APC that started it with EndSars and Lekki Massacre. |

Or did you see allowances for vacation with foreign trips as part of the package of a Nigerian legislator?
Or the many Nigerian workers who can afford such and do spend on such foreign vacations for themselves and their families, did they avoid such spending to contribute the funds to you who can barely feed as a Nigerian worker? Just SHUT UP. See how Everyone here is pouring Sand on your head cos of your Nonsense comment. Senators attend Plenary 3days in a Week and sit down most times. Ask him why Osun Pple rejected APC/tinibu and went for Adeleke/PDP. He thinks Everyone should be supporting Rubbish because of foolish sentiments. |

How about the garri sellers that sell garri for 2000 Naira for 4 liters, should we grow cassava and roast them to give garri as well?
Lest I forget, a satchet of water sells for 35-50 Naira, should we establish a pure water factory or drink non treated water, because the government did not provide clean potable water.

Salewa97: Why are we acting like Tinubu is a magician? Fuel subsidy is a complex issue that requires thorough planning and execution. It's not just about waving a wand and making it disappear.
Look, the man is working tirelessly to stabilize the economy, and it takes time to implement changes that will benefit everyone in the long run. Protests are a part of democracy, and addressing them is equally important to maintain peace.
Instead of throwing shade, let’s appreciate the steps he’s taking to address these issues. The opposition is quick to criticize, but they should remember that leadership is not as easy as they think. Let’s give Tinubu a chance to deliver on his promises. So If Fuel Subsidy is an issue that requires Thorough planning and Execution, Why did Tinibu Rush to Remove it? For what Purpose, actually? 😏🤨 BTW, Tell us who ruined the economy that Tinibu is trying to stabilize. 🤔🤨 |

LiteratureClass: If you are in Kano, you will understand. It looks as if they are preparing for war. May God help Nigeria. I will not join protest. You can't blame them. For over 60-70years, the North used to be a Haven for cheap food items. My brother who did in NYSC in Adamawa in 2011 was using N500 to cook Egusi soup then. He told us meat of N200 could fill a small Bowl and everything was Cheap. But from 2016 till present, they started experiencing Inflation and Hardship that they have never seen in their Entire Lives before. So why won't they Protest? |
Politics › Re: Why Didn't Tinubu handle Fuel Subsidy Issue, As He Is Doing With The Protest? by Vinnie2000(op): 8:19am On Jul 27, 2024 |
sIfioksq: Tinubu is taking his time to strategize. Fuel subsidy is a complex issue that requires a well-thought-out approach. Protests are part of the democratic process, but tackling subsidies demands thorough planning and stakeholder engagement. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt; he knows what he’s doing. After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day! So Why did he Hastily Remove the Fuel Subsidy without proper Consultations and Meetings, like he is doing with this Protest? To Claim MachoMan or What? |

Lokostar01: You can do something because they are not covered by immunity they can be picked up by efcc, even if they are going to embezzle the money they can not do it alone that way the money trickles down to local people, most governors don't give a damn about some local government. Let me give an example of Kaduna state I am when the immediate past governor came he told them he is interested in urban renewal so he only concentrate on about 5 local government and denied the rest government projects. So understand the importance of LG autonomy Ogbeni, A Nigerian Politician is a Nigerian Politician. Autonomy or no Autonomy, a LG Chairman that wants to Loot and Misbehave will still do so. Go and watch how Naija University SUG guys behave to see the true Nature of a Nigerian Politicians. |

seunayantokun: The Yoruba protested for Jonathan and spearheaded support movements for him and he became president. Later, some protested against him while some remained on his side. At the re-election attempt, they were divided. But remember, how Jonathan was repeatedly resisted in north despite all he did for them. They just wouldn't want a southern Christian to be there. Has there ever been any movement for good government in this country which the Yoruba have not been part of? LP Peter Obi won presidential election in Lagos. Do you think that happened without lots and lots of Yoruba votes? What made them change their mind at the governorship election? Many of them who didn't vote for Tinubu are now supporting him despite the fact that they are not gaining anything from him and his government, except hunger. Why do you think they are doing that? Well, like you stated, it is time we went back to regionalism or brake up the deceit called Nigeria. I think the Igbo and other ethnicities need to work along that line. I don't know why anybody would like to be president of a country put together for everlasting inhumanity and poverty. Nobody Disagrees that Y0rubas supported Peter Obi or Goodluck Jonathan in 2011.🙁 But Truth is Tinibu/APC govt is Painting Y0rubas in bad lights by 1. Practicing Tribal Favouritism for Yorubas which has Angered others. 2. Blaming Buhari/North for Nigeria's current Woes, when you guys FULLY supported him in 2015. 🙁😕 This 2nd Point is the Biggest Anger of the North currently, for Yorubas/Tinibu. You Guys wants to make them the BAD GUYS, when you pple Contributed in Buhari's 8years FAILURES.😕😒 |
