Pa Akande, is signing as a referee. The form of a presidential candidate has to be signed by referees who are party members from different geo-political zones.

Before anyone quotes me for politics, don't sign for anybody but yourself though this weak post OP pushed doesn't tell us anything. It just shows us someone and tells us he is signing but hope Tinubu himself doesn't do teamship and allow people sign on his behalf.

One can see the level of knowledge displayed by most people who already commented. This is one of the lack of knowledge amongst Nigerian youths the MoniePoint CEO complained of. Umahi only signed as referee. Anyone contesting for any position needs to have his or her nomination form signed by some referees.

Most responses here show the low level of knowledge of most Nigerians, even those who attended higher institutions. Most are saying that they are only aware of grades like First Class, Second Class, etc. They don't know that Medical Students are not graded that way. There is no First Class or Second Class, etc, in Medicine & Surgery and some allied courses.

NDC already has court cases. Ardo, Atiku 's right hand man has already sued NDC and INEC for registering it.

NDP as a new party has been involved in court cases since last year. The registration was as a result of a court order and since then Ardo, a supporter of Atiku and a member of ADC, has taken the party to court that it was not properly registered. Later, instead of facing Ardo and Atiku, many will start shouting that it is the government. I don't know why politicians do not make due diligence on steps they take. This is because most politicians in Nigeria are intellectually lazy, like most Nigerians. A research into the political parties in Nigeria shows that most of them have been having leadership and court cases before the 2023 election. Is that the fault of the present government? As far as 2022, ADC had more than ten cases in court, likewise Accord, Labour, SDP, NNPP and some others. Three new parties were registered, why is Obi and Kwakwanso not moving to any of the other two that do not have court cases. There are more than ten other old parties without court cases. Why are they not moving to any of them? Governor Bala Mohammed has just joined the Allied People's Movement Party, one of the old parties without any court case. Influencers, journalists and lawyers are supposed to bring this out now but many of them have keyed in to a particular agenda setting. They end up intentionally misinforming the populace.

The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, has alleged that the party was rigged out of millions of votes in the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking on Wednesday at a rally at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, Abure claimed that Labour Party’s vote tally was reduced from about 10 million to roughly six million votes.

I don't know why people are so delusional. On the same day, the House of Representative and the Senate Elections were held. Labour Party had only 38 Reps members out of 360 while APC had more than 200 while PDP had 100 plus. As for Senate, Labour Party had 9 Senators out of 109 while APC had about 60. Yet some people in their delusion claim they won the election. The house of Representatives and Senate results reflected the parties that came First, Second and Third on that day.

The rally also witnessed the formal declaration of interest by the party’s 2023 vice-presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, to contest the presidency in 2027.

Abure recounted a phone call on the night Peter Obi joined the party, saying Baba-Ahmed insisted on staying because Labour Party had secured what he described as 10 million votes from Nigerians, which later reflected as about six million in the final results.

According to results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the APC polled 8,794,726 votes, PDP scored 6,984,520, Labour Party came third with 6,101,533, while NNPP recorded 1,496,687 votes.

Abure’s comments revive Labour Party’s 2023 legal challenge, which accused INEC of electoral malpractice and fraud. However, the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal dismissed the petition, rejecting Obi’s claims and affirming the eligibility and victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

With the 2027 race already taking shape, the allegations signal that Nigeria’s electoral debates are far from over.

Most of the insecurities in Ondo, Edo, Kogi and Kwara are from Kogi people ( especially the Igbira tribe). Many of them have been arrested in Ondo state.

I think this case is a conduit pipe for corruption. DSS will use our money to hire a lawyer. They will have a secret arrangement with the lawyer that DSS official will get 60-70% of the legal fees. So on paper, the lawyer gets 100 million naira. But in reality, the lawyet gets 30 million naira while DSS gets 70 million naira.

You people just write unverified speculations without educating yourselves. Have you gone to the DSS Act to read all their duties? It is part o their duties to protect the president from embarrassment and any act by anyone to tarnish his image. According to the reported charge sheet, they are charging Sowore for acts that can lead to public unrest.

The SDP is still a standalone party. What did it evolve into? Why did Tinubu decamp from the SDP? Give it a rest. You can't spin this.

You should always try to learn. The problem with most Nigerians is that sentiment does not allow them to learn. SDP and NRC where the only two parties created by the Babangida regime during military rule. You can only belong to either of the two parties. Abiola, Tinubu, Atiku, Kingibe, etc, were in SDP. After the annulment of 1993 presidential election and the disollution of the two parties by Abacha, SDP of the seized to exist. When politics started again in 1999, new parties were registered. Tinubu registered as an AD member. There was no SDP party in 1999. The present SDP was a new one registered after 2010.

Atiku too has always been traveling to Germany for treatment and hospitalization. Don't mind what his aides say that he goes Germany for business. His former wife, Jennifer, has made the world to know that he is always in Germany for treatment. That is why he has not been able to personally go to his state to register for ADC.

Banjo delayed moving forward to attack Lagos in Yorubaland because he realized his folly and that he is being cunningly played by Ojukwu to lead Biafran attack on his fatherland so that the Igbos will take over Yorubaland. He came to this realization when Ojukwu appointed an Igbo man as sole administrator of Midwest after taking over the region and the governor then, Ejoor, had to escape in disguise, riding a bicycle. What the Biafran did in Midwest was different from what Ojukwu deceived Banjo that they were going to do when he was told to lead the operations. Ojukwu told Banjo that they were only going to pass through Midwest on their way to Lagos and that the people and the governor were not going to be touched. Ojukwu gave a different directive to the Igbo officers, which was hidden from Banjo. That was why the Biafran forces killed, raped and dehumanized a lot of Midwesterners and appointed an Okonkwo to be the sole administrator. Banjo realized that the Biafrans would do what they did to the Midwest to the Yoruba people hence he tarried a bit in Ore to clear his head and realized that he is being played. He reread the terms of the operation to see that an Igbo man would be appointed to govern Lagos and Southwest. What the Biafrans did to Midwest would have been a child's play to what they would have done to the Yoruba people. All these are in books and records for those who can read widely. Please don't try to rewrite history to suit your narratives.

That said, it's not easy to also migrate. The process is very tedious and cumbersome.

So, we should relax with this talk of brain drain. There are still many doctors unemployed and underemployed littered around.

You are wrong with this your statistics that Nigeria produces tens of thousands of doctors yearly. As of 2023, the total allocation of doctors to be produced by universities in Nigeria was around 2700 and these allocations are not maximized. Each university has its own allocation from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria; according to available facilities and other resources. Some produce 50, some 75, some 100, etc.

This is the terrible condition under which house officers in many hospitals, especially teaching hospitals, are subjected to. Many work on calls for more than 36 hours on every alternate days with no free day for rest. Those in slave camps are even treated better. Some people have to be held responsible for this, especially the senior doctors who abandon most of their responsibilities to these junior doctors.

The report is alarmist and misleading. Most of the statements are not true. People already on sponsorship can renew their visa based on the old rate at which they were sponsored. The jobs removed from foreign sponsorship and the new salary threshold is for those seeking sponsorship for the first time.

Party politics should be clearly delineated from the office of the president as he oversees other Nigerians with diverse party affiliations. Nigeria is not a one-party dictatorship like China. Tinubu is doing too much damage to the Nigerian state and is setting an unpalatable precedence.

According to the former wife from the South East, whenever Atiku travels to Germany, he is always in the hospital for treatment. Some people will never see this now because they are clouded with emotions. If it were to be people they have been programmed to hate, they would have written a lot of epistle.
