Amumaigwe:Why will APC not want Obi on the ballot, you people imagine a lot and that's the problem. Obi must be on the ballot, same as Atiku. That makes it easier for APC. Obi on the same ticket with Atiku is what APC is scared of. Obi has seen the handwriting on the wall that he won't get the presidency and the VP slot isn't sure, he then jumped to another party. You people are emotional and not properly analyzing the political space. I laugh at you people's ignorance I must admit that the political game isn't for the good of the masses. But it is what it is |

NDP as a new party has been involved in court cases since last year. The registration was as a result of a court order and since then Ardo, a supporter of Atiku and a member of ADC, has taken the party to court that it was not properly registered. Later, instead of facing Ardo and Atiku, many will start shouting that it is the government. I don't know why politicians do not make due diligence on steps they take. This is because most politicians in Nigeria are intellectually lazy, like most Nigerians. A research into the political parties in Nigeria shows that most of them have been having leadership and court cases before the 2023 election. Is that the fault of the present government? As far as 2022, ADC had more than ten cases in court, likewise Accord, Labour, SDP, NNPP and some others. Three new parties were registered, why is Obi and Kwakwanso not moving to any of the other two that do not have court cases. There are more than ten other old parties without court cases. Why are they not moving to any of them? Governor Bala Mohammed has just joined the Allied People's Movement Party, one of the old parties without any court case. Influencers, journalists and lawyers are supposed to bring this out now but many of them have keyed in to a particular agenda setting. They end up intentionally misinforming the populace. |

Saladdin:of course, obi is the political novice that thinks everything must fall in at a go, perhaps he is a prisoner of the same support base that says president or nothing It is a quicker root for kwankwaso to finish the job and split the last batch, that's like four year away from presidency than 8 years an obi route will take at best (a highly uncertain path taking power from a tinubu still without a united north) Let's not forget he doesn't want to appear weak before his own people (this guy went toe to toe with buhari atiku) Again it will appear he betrayed northern interest or atiku for peanut, either way obi should stop this naive strategy of believing what his people say online can box politicians to his side, kwankwaso has a plan |

helinues:It is Atiku that is working for Tinubu not Obi.Obi is the people choice that won 2023 presidential election with landslide. Atiku can never win presidential election. That is how he scattered PDP and went to APC where he was messed up.He came to PDP again to struggle power with Wike Wike dealt with him and he ran to ADC and taught he will use Obi to achieve his aim. Obi knows better Now he is heading for disgraceful defeat. He should be told to support Obi and help him to protect his votes alongside other political heavy weights. Obi will command the majority votes of the masses. Period. |

Saladdin:Which Nigeria president didn’t have good intention since 1999? Also,Tinubu is not weak in Administration please. No man born of woman can transform this country in 3years at this current revenue level and lack of LG autonomy. I wish you can just be the president for just one year to see how difficult it is. Nigerians will be expecting eldorado with 40billion dollars National budget that is not up to 50% of New York state allocation to just health alone. The state of NewYork budget for education in 2025 was 100billion dollars. The total National budget of Nigerian in 2025 was aound 40billion dollars for 250 million people and 36states. Nigeria infrastructural deficit is estimated to be 3trillion dollars. We require 100billion dollars annual funding.Nigeria wants a president to transform a country within 4years with annual budget of 40 billion dollars and budget deficit of 10billion dollars without borrowing and increase tax coverage. When opposition politicians are sugarcoating Nigerians,I will just laugh.I dont blame them,Tinubu and APC did the same thing to GEJ and PDP,now they are also facing the reality. |

yommen:Like, he don dey annoy me. The same Kwankwaso wey dey too proud to align with him thinking he is big in 2023 is the one probably pushing him around. That opportunity is gone with 2023,honestly that's how i see it. If he had align with Obi in 2023 it would been a straight win but I doubt it will work in 2027. I was hoping he will align with Atiku instead, he already promised one term. After that go for president the next term. Well good luck to him. |

Good move.... atiku should test his popularity in ADC let see ![]() |
| Re: Peter Obi Leaves ADC For NDC by yommen: 1:54pm On May 03 |
Saladdin:It's not about Tinubu being dangerously cunning. It's about knowing the right step to take at the right time. When Tinubu aligned with Buhari, he could have probably argued that he wanted to be president too at that time na. He was fully in control of ACN and they were ruling Lagos conveniently. But he understood the magic of right timing. Even though it was PDP that had internal agreement of south/north rotation, he played by it. Obi should have stayed in PDP. If he had stayed, Atiku would be president by now and Obi would become President by 2031. By then, he would be 69, which is not bad. Obi is 64 now and Atiku is 79. See the age difference. Obi needs to understand that Atiku got higher votes than him in the last election and still has higher northern block votes which can easily be transferred to Obi in 2031. Now, see him crying like a baby, blaming others for his own shortsightedness. Sincerely, I don't want someone like him to be my president. |

hohafrank:thanks u for this beautiful.. he atiku should go test his popularity without obi in another ADC....I like the move obi give am ....last minute backstabbing... what goes round comes around....if atiku really love the country he should support the ok movement but I know he'll do the spoiler again to give tinubu victory... |
| Re: Peter Obi Leaves ADC For NDC by LEDOTE: 2:04pm On May 03 |
I think it is a strategic move to defeat the ruling APC. Atiku has captured the majority of the electorates in Northern Nigeria. Tinubu will struggle in the North. The elites of the SE will try to rig for Tinubu in the East if Obi is not on the ballot (especially as the Presidential candidate). Therefore, if Obi refuses to deputise Atiku as VP or not given the VP slot, then it becomes a smart move to ensure that SE votes do not go to Tinubu. SE votes will most likely decide the winner between Atiku & Tinubu. If Atiku cannot get it, Atiku prefers that Tinubu also does not get it. I suspect that Kwankwaso is actually working for Atiku. Recall Atiku's recent visit to Kwankwaso in Kano. Also note that Kwakwanso said he would never deputise Obi before now. If Kwankwaso eventually deputises Obi, this will confirm my suspicion. Despite Kwankwanso on the ballot as VP to Obi, the North will not vote the ticket but use the ticket to lure away SE votes from Tinubu. In all these, the SE must avoid emotional politics to avoid loosing out again. They have to make a strategic decision and I think aligning with APC now holds the best opportunity to clinch presidential ticket in the future. SE's path to presidency lies (for the foreseable future) in the alignment with SS, SW & MB. NE & NW are no go areas due to religious differences and historical hostilities. 10,000 boreholes, billions in donations and even bigger project cannot do it. Obi/Kwankwaso will not sell in the North and Kwankwaso/Obi will not sell in the South. If Atiku eventially wins tnrough this strategy, he will directly or imdirectly compensate Obi after gaining power. It will be the reverse of what happened in favour of APC in 2023. |
