The case below is between Cameroon n Kenya
African soccer faces inherent challenges With their diverse cultures and genetics, games in the African region are subjected to controversies of different kinds. It’s common to see visiting teams complain about sabotage of travel plans. There are also frequent changes to the allocation of host stadiums. Last week, for example, Cameroon changed the venue for a crucial fixture against Kenya eight days before the meeting.
Other past incidents
In 2019: Madagascar's team plane was delayed, forcing them to arrive in Tunisia just hours before their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
In 2018: Zambia's team bus was held up at the border, causing them to arrive late for their match against Namibia.
In 2017: Uganda's team was stranded in Kenya due to flight cancellations, affecting their preparations for a World Cup qualifier.
In 2019: Tanzania changed the venue for their match against Uganda just 48 hours before kickoff. Ok you win. I don tire |

The way people are being killed an unaccounted for leaves so much to worry. With limited police intervention, most times the killers USUALLY go scot-free. We are operating in space where evil goes unpunished. It's the same reason why politicians can loot the commonwealth and boldly put it in your face. Someone can ply against a oneway route with the hope of bribing officials he finds on the way. One can eat and throw the trash on the way all because we have no working judicial and investigative system punish them. |

Politics › Re: Import Bill On Used Vehicles Drops 83% To ₦138.62 Billion by viqSmallz(m): 3:38pm On Sep 30, 2024 |
The more we treat the Nigerian Customs Service as revenue generating the more trade suffers. For the NCS their major target is to increase revenue, and this is not supposed to be so for an agency meant to facilitate trade. You don't tax heavily when you don't have stability in local production. Imagine the Nigerian Customs posting more revenue than the entire manufacturing sector. It is laughable, and this is why the cost of things is high. When there is an increase in the exchange rate, it is immediately affected on their portal, so irrespective of when you import, you will pay the prevailing rate. This also happens when there is a drop in the rate, but we rarely see the drop happen.
With the struggling times, the Presidency through the Ministry of Finance should have pegged the exchange rate of customs to around 500Naira/1dollar, this will stimulate trade increase, but like I said NCS is not for trade facilitation but rather revenue collection. |

Wike is big in the PDP true. For Fubara to stand re-election he should go to a party filled with people who are against the system. Labour Party and not APP. Only then can he stand a chance, because he doesn't need to start with a political structure, they have natural followers. Labour Party ardents will naturally vote against whoever Wike fields. It will.be a tough one but it can be pulled off. Remaining inPDP or APC won't work for him. Remember the Ambode issue. Except he stays humble for a 2nd tenure. |

lexy2014: pls read again for better understanding.
the drivers committed traffic offences like driving without a license and over speeding which led to the deaths of their friends. so the police was doing the right thing.
but just the way they didnt need to be told to arrest the drivers, they didnt need to be told to take care of the survivors, the corpses and do the needful in contacting the families Lol. First point of call is to save survivors, that's what I said..never said they shouldn't arrest who was driving without a licence. Read again for understanding. Plus at what point did the Nigerian police determine that those guys were driving without licence? I can't bet my balls that it wasn't at the scene |

Nigerian police are useless. Trying to arrest people that just had an accident? People who lost loved one? No investigation to even know the cause. Who does that, not even trying to ensure that they are ok, not trying to ensure that the there might be survivor amongst the dead. They saw that accident as an opportunity of extortion. Very inhumane set of people. Useless pricks |

Every day I go out, one person is either begging for food or money. Nigerians are suffering. You can see it on their faces, and they have been defeated mentally. These guys have thrown Nigeria into a pit. APC has no clue about running a country. No ideology. No pattern. We are being run like a local trade union—an NURTW kind of thing. There is no genius idea, due process, process improvement, or performance management—just vibes and chops. |

Yahaya Bello has carved out Kogi state as his territory and he is ruling there. You can only invite him to a table for dialogue not arrest,Wike is trying all to hold Rivers state he has carved out for himself, IPOB is trying to hold down South East for themselves even though their Leader is indisposed now, People like Asari Dokubo, Tompolo are carving out their own Turf in Niger Delta areas, Boko Haram and Bandit Leaders are creating their own kingdom in the North.
