Yes I agree things change from time to time, in Nigeria cost of things increases, earning power depreciates. I am not a party party person. Taking subsidy away and allowing market forces govern - that is great, removing the monetary shocks in our currency valuation - BAT did well.
You see all these are paper economics to me if we do not feel the impact. Where have the gains from the subsidy removal gone to? Why is my money losing its purchasing power? Why am I not earning as better as I used to? Why do we not have electricity? Why is insecurity on the increase? Why do we have thugs harassing me in Lagos where I live? Even if PDP, NDC, labour party were in power, these questions will still be asked. Is our democracy getting better? No. In my state of origin where I hail - a local government chairman was threatening people not to wear parphenalias of other parties. Thats not democracy? Do I need to be forced to vote for APC if they are actually doing well? Why do I see only APCs campaign posters around Lagos where I reside? Why are people being disenfranchised? Threats everywhere. We never had it this bad in our democracy.

It were on these premise that APC promised to govern us better. Are things better? No! Do I expect it to change overnight? No, I expect to see gradual improvement. APC has now spent 12 years in power just 4years shy from what PDP spent.
As an ordinary Nigerian, what dispensation was favourable to me? You know the answer.

If it is moving in the right direction why not. But I bought a full tank for 110,000. This amount is more than the minimum wage. This amount is for only 1 week 4days. This same amount of fuel would have cost me NGN 12,000 under PDP.

This and many more is how the people will deteremine if the train is moving in the right direction.

Lessons learnt - avoid overheating; watch out for your coolant gauge, service as at when due with the prescribed oil - mine was Motor Craft, do not by Nigerian used, fix with recommended parts do not patch or manage, use only one mechanic - trust ford engineer.
