Right. The most important thing is to be where God wants you to be. If you insist on staying in Nigeria when God wants you to somewhere else, or vice versa, you are out of line. Protection and safety is only in the place God sends you to.
This comment capped it all.

Crime › Re: Can Someone Explain To Me What Is Happening In This Photo by virginchaser(m): 4:00pm On Jun 23, 2024
Godfullsam:
You cockroaches want to use the incident to incite tribal problem between tribes despite the fact that the PPRO of Lagos state has arrested and detained the police on illegal duties and vowed to apprehend everyone involved.
You cockroaches are still calling the yorubas cowards because they have decided to allow the police to their jobs instead of going on rampage and killing all the hausas (both the guilty and Innocents).
It won't work!

I have seen nothing less than 5 threads on this issue alone and these threads were created by one single tribe who ordinarily should not be concerned.

A similar incident occurred recently in enugu state where some fooooolanis raped an under aged teenage girl and killed the man that came to rescue her.
But no one is talking about it. You people are really cursed.

Shame on you cockroaches.
I respected your write up with matured answers for those inciting a tribe against another because of incident police are in control of but Enugu incident shouldn't have been used as reference. It was a slap on our societies and all government levels. Underage must be protected by all means and the hero that lost his life must not be forgotten. It's too sensitive to be used as tribal wars.

Abuja is a crazy place to live. Political circle has made a mess of the whole place and ain't ready to make a draconian law or declare state of emergency on rule of law to correct growing abnormalities.

A friend who just arrived Canada said he is also receiving close to a million naira monthly pending till he finds a job.

Our politicians do travel to those countries, they have kids, friends and family there, but for them to replicate the same always hard for them to do
Money he will pay back when he get job. Special grant for high value professionals. Please educate me further if you disagree.
Politics › Re: FRSC Abolishes Patrol Points In Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu & Imo by virginchaser(m): 9:04am On Jun 23, 2024
Objectivist04:
So you are trying to compare Uyo , and Warri to enugu ?

Just leave this argument, business is booming in Enugu, Roban alone has 5 malls in the city alone while big eatries like crunchies , chicken republic, genesis etc are springing up everywhere .
These types of business can only thrive where there is a purchasing power
By the way enugu is not all about ShopRite, there are spar , eastern shop, market square, Roban, four market days, infact there are more than ten different malls in enugu with some of them having more than one branch.

ShopRite trived when they were the sole retail shop but now a lot of competitors have sprang up and their market share is reduced, it also happened in Kano which forced the retail giant to close shop there or are you also telling me that the reason is because people are leaving Kano or because there is low purchasing power in Kano ?

That is not how to judge the economy of a city,. The number of two to three story buildings springing up in enugu monthly can not be seen in Ibadan,Uyo and Warri in six months.
I rest my case since i only visit to spend few days.

Objectivist04:
I don't understand what you are saying, enugu ShopRite is booming, Roban now has 5 malls in enugu alone and nsukka outlet is coming up. Food cost is high but people are not starving here and it is not cheaper elsewhere

You are a poor economist, there can't be high price in the midst of low purchasing power, it doesn't just make any sense because we are told that high demand leads to high price.

The most lucrative business in Enugu now is real estate, no matter how costly a house is it won't take a month before it will be fully copied, can that be said about any state in SW aside Lagos ?
Simply look around that mall carefully. Shops are closing compare with cities like Uyo, Warri, Portharcourt, Ibadan, Lekki and Sangotedo malls.

What makes usa better than safer places like Canada?

What standard of living is in USA that is not in Canada?

So why take the risk?
The riskier the thriller. Opportunities are abound in USA and if you buckle your shoes sky will be the limit.

You will just stay at oshogbo and be shouting people are running away,
A lot of people are trooping in here resulting to high cost of rent but if believing that people are running away will make you feel good, then carry on
Bro, have you visited Enugu Shoprite before and now? You will feel sorry. Apart from food prices that have gone beyond the roof. Please don't tell me it's allover the country. Enugu is exceptionally expensive and low purchasing power. It's even worse outside Enugu. Reason why people shouldn't stop supporting relatives in the village.
