[[/i] CyrilPatrickk: Hello house.. quick question.. can a left handed medic be a surgeon in Nigeria? Yeah, it does not affect your dexterity. A highly skilled surgeon I'm familiar with uses his left hand without complications arising from it. |

Preye21: Ok, I'm 22, I Have a Bsc with a 2.1(3.93) in Microbiology from Uniport and I've successfully completed my NYSC. I wish to pick a DE form for medicine in UI. 1. What are my chances of admission? 2. Does UI consider their graduates first? 3. How is the selection done? (are some gpa's considered before others or they just consider "2.1" Please any idea? 4. Which other school can I apply to? To be honest with you, entering Medicine with 2.1 in U.I is a really tall order. It's mostly first class who are mostly courses related to Medicine such as Physiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy who are first considered. |

AnonymousLee: Hello Medics in the house, please I'd appreciate a detailed reply to this; Ideally how many years will it take to study medicine in Nigeria irrespective of the institution??
6yrs 7yrs Or 8yrs Well, it should not be more than 6yrs but then incessant strikes prolong it. With the strikes, 7yrs you are done if there are no repeats. |
Health › Re: What Is The Remedy For Social Anxiety? by Virtutis: 8:33pm On Nov 28, 2018 |
Op,the best thing to do is to go to a teaching hospital to see a psychiatrist who will help you to manage this condition with drugs and psychotherapy. What you described looks like GAD.
And follow the suggestions by others such as having an outdoor hobby, attending more activities outside and others except the sex part. |

China has a lot to gain from this. They are surreptitiously infiltrating and establishing their culture in Nigeria with this programme. These set of people will be expected to practise all what they have learnt and pass on to other Nigerians.
Such a great win for the global leadership effort of China! |

phyqtour: I'm very sorry for being a bit inquisitive, but is there a particular grading system for the screening process or is the DE admission based on knowing someone or just luck? Yeah sure, UI's admission is mainly on merit. Being on a first class and finishing from UI will give you a great edge over others. But then, you can't totally disregard the Nigerian factor of leg. |
Education › Re: How Many Universities/polytechnics Offers And Nutrition In Nigeria? by Virtutis: 3:41am On Nov 21, 2018 |
University of Ibadan offers Human Nutrition but then, you should be able to see institutions offering the course from JAMB brochure |
