And I'm also surprised that someone here will boldly try to sell a clone. Or maybe it was an outside seller who advertised here. Or perhaps maybe there was a mix-up somewhere, or the s9+ was Verizon.

Lol.. If the phone in question is Verizon, it won't work because Verizon disables it.

I think the most comprehensive way to check for authenticity is to download "Phone info" from Google playstore. It will reveal everything, from processor to knoex, and the rest... Alternatively, you can also boot into download mode to see.

Also, the camera is always an easy giveway... A clone will ALWAYS have an inferior camera quality if you're familiar with the quality of pictures the particular phone in question is supposed to produce.
