Actually, it could take days or weeks after the deadline before we get feedback... Because people that would apply on the last day may still be given that seven days period to take the tests for the different stages of the recruitment process.

So it's probably gonna be a looong wait.

That's if at all we don't get regret mail any time soon.

hizzylife:
Everybody should still chill a bit. If I remember clearly, one of the eligibility questions they asked is "have you completed or would complete Nysc before August? ". meaning the recruitment process may still linger till August.

Even if we still scale through the video interview stage, what of the AC and final stage? (not being pessimistic though pls). Inevitably, some people will be dropped after each stage. It will even be more disheartening if one is dropped at a later stage in the recruitment than now.

So please, let's not start now to be hypertensive about this. Let's just be patient, keep our fingers crossed and be positive.

Also while waiting, we can as well be practicing for the assessment tests and interview.
In fact, I suggest we discuss more on that and find ways to help ourselves.

May you live long.... grin

This feedback report is a confidential document; it is designed to provide you with detail on your strengths and development areas against Unilever’s success criteria for the Future Leaders Programme.  It should be stored in a safe and secure place.

Lolz, that is the second paragraph of my feedback mail.

I dey my house, comman remove my neck.

LMAO.
I go comot that neck!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Unilever Future Leaders Programme 2017 by viviansteph: 7:13pm On Apr 26, 2017
LuckyWinner:
I'm not being aggressive about it o. But the fact that we are all expectant about a success mail from our video interview doesn't mean that we make attempts to write off other candidates who didn't have the same feedback as ours.

Not getting excellent evidence doesn't make you any less qualified for the next stage. Truth is: we don't know how or on what criteria Unilever will make their selections. Let's not try to bring other people down or make them look less than ourselves simply because we think we are better than them based on a feedback that may even be useless.

The feedback was even meant to be confidential in the first place and we were not expected to share it publicly. You think Unilever is not aware of this Nairaland thread? Of all Nigerian sites? Some of you may even have been disqualified just by sharing your feedback here.

How will they track you? Well, I dunno. Who are the guests viewing the thread?

Whole point is: We don't know for sure the criteria for selection. Even if you had "poor" or "pass" evidence... just keep your faith alive. It may still be you. So don't lose hope and don't be too anxious. Pray, hope and have faith.
Haba na calm down. No one is a member of the HR dept here. We are here to help one another, arent we?

I am not saying I would be happy if I didnt make it but if it happens, I will congratulate those who did.
and if I do make it, I will thank the whole house for their support n wish everyone d best. It doesnt end here you knw!
There is still a final stage...we are only praying that we cross this hurdle first.

Pls. Redirect your anger n energy to the right place. Let us all be supportive. Okay?

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Unilever Future Leaders Programme 2017 by viviansteph: 5:34pm On Apr 26, 2017
Another funny might be observation is; if you traits dont match!!!
if your game says u are 100%attentive, ur memory is superb and u can so multi task and u can survive well in a high risk environment

Then you re now to apply all those traits in a rea life event and they find out that

You couldnt get d questions at a glimpse. Your answers were offpoint

Your feedback says u cnt multi task based on d answers u gave and u r not likely to manage risk.

I think that is d reviewing taking place....and they are probably starting with the excellent feedback to see if they can get the number they need.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Unilever Future Leaders Programme 2017 by viviansteph: 5:16pm On Apr 26, 2017
Look at it this way: if they want someone who can multi task weda u hv d excellent or competent feedback e no concern them. If u cnt multi task u are out!

It is like scoring 97/100 in maths and scoring 2/100 in English

When u wld hve just gotten 70/100 in both.

Let's be logical people. Study the game test results. You will notice that some people did better but were rejected.

Mayb some displayed over-confidence or are too emotional.

I know we can jst shut up n wait...but wetin man pikin go do kwanuhuh

Feedback

Judgement - Big picture thinking, analysis & decision making and change & innovation
You provided excellent evidence against ‘big picture thinking’, you thought about the wider implications of your ideas and suggestions and it was clear that you seek to maximize benefits. You demonstrated that you could work effectively with different teams across Unilever, however, you could have provided more information on how you could achieve savings in the future. You demonstrated that you were committed and supportive to Unilever’s wider vision and goals and that you take account of these aims in your answers. You could improve further by thinking about how you could support others to develop their ‘big picture thinking’ skills and the different efficiencies that could be achieved when implementing large projects (i.e. savings in resource, time, project costs etc.).

You also demonstrated that you assimilate and analyze information effectively and objectively to make informed decisions quickly. Your answers indicate that you are able to actively seek and identify information that is useful; however, you could provide more information about how you would identify trends, inconsistencies and risks. You provided some evidence to suggest that you think about how to encourage others to be objective and make use of data so that efficiencies can be achieved. To develop further you may want to think about how you present the full rationale behind your ideas / solutions in a convincing manner (especially when working with more senior individuals).

You provided excellent evidence against the area – change and innovation. Overall it is clear that you are positive about change and you identify opportunities for better ways of working. You considered some of the impact that change can have on others, however, you could think about some of the practical implications of making your ideas a reality (in order to further improve). To develop even further you may want to think about how you would motivate and encourage others to generate creative ideas and how you would address resistance to new ideas or new ways of working.

Drive - Drive to succeed, accelerating business growth and consumer needs
You demonstrated an excellent understanding of Unilever and how your values and strengths match to the requirements of the Future Leaders Programme. It is clear that you are motivated by the prospect of a challenging role and you are prepared to drive your own career and development. You could develop further by thinking about how to build relationships across the business to overcome challenges and create long term partnerships.

You provided positive evidence against working effectively to accelerate business growth. For example, it is clear that you produce high quality results and that quality is important to you. You also provided strong evidence against prioritizing tasks and deal with these effectively under pressure. You could improve further in the future by thinking about how to multi-task more effectively to achieve more during busy times.

It is clear that you are concerned with consumer needs and will work hard to define and meet those needs. You thought about how you would increase consumer satisfaction and what would consumers like to see more of. However, you could improve further by thinking about consumer satisfaction in more detail and what consumers may need and want in the future. You could also think about how you would pre-empt any challenges or issues in order to put solutions in place before they become a problem

Influence - Inspirational leadership, influencing skills and learning agility
Overall, you demonstrated excellent evidence against the ability to communicate effectively and influence others. It is clear that you will work collaboratively and effectively with a wide-range of people and that you are proactive in supporting others. You provided evidence that you could lead a team and work closely with other partners across Unilever. You also provided evidence that you would give others support, guidance and mentoring when leading them as part of a team. You also provided some positive evidence about how you would lead people during challenging situations or disagreements. In order to improve for the future you may want to consider different ways of involving others to ensure everyone is listened to and to ensure quieter individuals are able to contribute to a discussion.

Kind Regards,
Unilever Recruitment
It is finished
