RuudVanNisteroy: Windhoek is more planned there is interconnection of shopping malls, parks, pedestrian areas, bikes lanes and paths, stadium, office buildings, parking spaces.
Abuja doesn't have portable water, sewage treatment, drainage system and 24 hour electricity. Lol U are showing me Windhoek masterplan. Abuja has its own master planning and its involves everything U bolded out save for bike lanes. But then again Abuja roads is generally wider than Windhoek lanes and not battling with choatic traffic. There is free movement. |

RuudVanNisteroy: It is way out of Abuja league when it comes to the way the city is planned. Actually Abuja looks more planned than it. Abuja's Grid city planning system is the latest 21st style just like Dubai or new Chinese cities where a single file doesn't not rely on the next building (joined together) in downtown areas as seen in Windhoek, Europe, and majority of u.s cities. The buildings stand alone. Also Abuja is regarded to get one of the most planned cities in Africa. Google it. |

RuudVanNisteroy: You think Abuja is all that because you haven't travelled much. I have travelled to 7 different countries spanning 3 continents. And Abuja is not even on the radar and no watch for Windhoek when it comes to planning. Lol U visited just 7. Clearly U just started traveling. U are still a kid. I have travelled more than U and I am speaking from experience. |

Raydos: How many times do you want to be reminded that Abuja is a glorified village but a city by Aboki standard?
Where is the downtown in Abuja? The Central district which should be a beehive of activities is a ghost town and looks haunted at night.! Lol actually U just described Windhoek. U took it out of my mouth. U think U have seen a ghost town . The. Try Gaborone and Windhoek. |

RuudVanNisteroy: Look at the video, where in Abuja is comparable when it comes to aesthetics and planning. If I didn't tell you it was Windhoek, you will think it is one American city. Lol I know Windhoek with her tiny cubicle sized city centre. Abuja trumps anyday, anytime. Abuja neighbourhoods sometimes makes U feel like U are in Beverly hills,LA in California. Anyone that knows Abuja well knows what I am saying. |

VeeVeeMyLuv: some places in Abuja try sha functionally and aesthetically (that is in days of Governor El rufai).
But these days it appears to be looking bland somehow. Even till today |

Just30: No one calls it Manhattan of Ghana except deluded people like yourself who left the zoo called Nigeria because y'all haven't seen a lively place like that in the entire Nigeria.
Nigeria does not even have a standard and that is why you guys believe you dont deserve better Actually U call it Manhattan of Ghana hobbit. Ghana has low standard and that's why she is a village.

Just30: Accra does not compete with zoos like
Abuja, Lagos or any backward place you have in Nigeria
They all have nothing to compete with any part of Ghana.
Nigeria is an undeveloped place and that is why it is insulted by everyone in including Nigerians The stench of your pain chokes me right from my screen pervading the air that hovers around my nose. But I suggest U direct it to Ghana for a change. All that noisy is enough bro bring change to OSU. trust me. |

Litmus: Sometimes the thing that gets me about Nigeria city environments, the unacceptableness of the thing, is the squalor you get in all the states, in all the cities. It always amazes me how nations even more impoverished than Nigeria can manage to seem somewhat habitable given their circumstance in the form of wars, poverty and what not and yet comparable places in Nigeria can seem nightmarish by contrast, uninhabitable even at a crunch.
See war-torn Afghanistan as an example:

No place in Nigeria should look as bad as those images of Aba market, places in Lagos and all over Nigeria often posted on Niaraland. These issues go beyond corruption; these are issues of rank ignorance and the simple inability of too many of those in position of power in Nigeria.
Technological innovations and mechanism to build them in quantities is difficult, symmetrical cities, pavements, roads, trees and maintaining them –essentially the business of bricks and mortar is not. Lol.dont make me laugh. And what is special about this. |
