Oga mi, I've been humbled enough by LTFs so I stick to 4H upward.
I've realized I don't have the ability to do short term trading in most cases so I just stick to set and forget.

I see an alternate count to yours. GBPUSD may go down to test 1.25-1.27 area to finish the 2nd wave or b wave of the wave C. After then...the wave C will bring gbpusd back to retest 1.40-1.42. But we are Wave (ii) sideways now, so your trade could work out in the short term. Let me do a quick chart on my PC.

As we wait for Wave 2 of C to complete, let's see what market has for us in between.

Happy to have had a fulfilling year in Forex this year.

I was able to finish my house project and my traditional marriage.

This thread was worthy and I am happy to have followed through the pages tho I had a break at some points within the year.

Best trading experience was the Aramco Oil Refinery Attack in Saudi Arabia. Made a whopping $1500 in less than 2hrs from a trade of -$300. I saw the real time effect of Fundamentals!

I started out trading February 2019 too and I think I started out Stage 3 (of the process @GladmanGoddey shared) near the close of this year.

Eventually you do begin to come out of this phase. You've probably committed more time and money than you ever thought you would, lost 2 or 3 loaded accounts and all but given up maybe 3 or 4 times but now its in your blood

One day - im a split second moment you will enter stage 3.

I'm looking to pick up the consistently profitable vibe in 2020. Time to think long term.

Something to note

If anyone's interested in my trading strategy, it's the Elliot Wave Theory.
Undoubtedly a powerful forecasting tool..... I say forecasting because it helps you know the most probable market direction over an extended time (take silver for example, I could post my charts of when I spoke about that drop for the first time).

If you can, learn it, it's a useful tool.

Also understand that there's a difference between forecasting and trading..... Trading happens in real-time, you see money fluctuating in real time but overall market should respect structure.

For newbies to EWT, I would not advise trying it on any TF lower than H4...... It's a lot easier to identify high probability structures on higher TF because it takes longer for small moves to take effect on the long-term view

For risk-takers, you can trade V.75 on 1M-15M (1-15 minute ) when you understand it, don't say it's me that blew the account o
