I see no hypocrisy there. No arguments presented will change my view on this so let's agree to disagree.

I was glad when I heard this and I think more states should follow suit.

Well I believe gay people should be allowed to adopt. But they should also be subject to the same rigorous checks as heterosexual couples planning to adopt.

To follow on what smart said, creativity is key however, graphics play an important role in web design especially if you want to be a good one. I'd advice you to look into Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver, they'd help you alot in your quest to becoming a web designer.
