Oppo has shown strong determination to dethrone xiaomi. The earlier xiaomi do cheaper 8GB 5000mah phones the longer they shall reign, else they'll soon see most of us dump them for Oppo. I was once again surprised to see a tech savy like OP already switched to Oppo. Many of my friends are dumping their xiaomi, I will too if they don't release 8GB Ram 5000mah battery soon. This is Africa, any one that affirdably meets our need has our loyalty.

The MI A3 has 6GB RAM and that is more than enough for anything you throw at a phone and the extra 2GB is certainly not worth 20K..

The A3 is a 5.8' with 4030mAh battery and A9 is 6.5' with a 5000mAh battery,so I had say for their screen to battery ratio they are even..

The A9 has no stated Gorilla Glass protection and A3 has Gorilla Glass 5..

The A9 has a cheap plastic back and the A3 has a Premium Gorilla Glass 5 back..

The A9 has a 720P LCD screen for 90K ,the A3 has an AMOLED screen..

The A9 has,wait for it.. ,A MICRO USB PORT? ,for 90K?

The A3 is an Android One device,which means it receives updates faster and longer than the A9..

How exactly can you justify a 90K phone with a 720P LCD,with a MICRO USB PORT and with no Gorilla Glass?

And Pray,what exactly do you mean by beating the A3 by functionality hands down?

Very affordable phone, 83k now. I know many that have dumped or sold their Xiaomi to buy this because of 8GB RAM and 5000mah Battery. Xiaomi, better do a similar spec with cheaper price to maintain their string hold on African market. Else... Oppo here to rule! I started hating my Xiaomi Note 8 when I saw this lovely Oppo A9 2020 in my friend's hand.

I just love this phone for one thing, the camera resolution. unlike others that gives you back camera 8 MP front 32 MP but this made the difference though I don't use or need the camera but this make sense.

Their only difference is Global bands. K20 favours LTE bands available in China, while Mi 9T carters for the international market. Apart from that every other thing is the same.

Global Versions are always more expensive than the ones meant for the Chinese market

what are you trying to say here. The fact is the best oled screen is better than the best LCD screen,there's no argument between which is better btw oled and LCD in terms of picture quality and colour production
