This church made me a dangerous tither, self-same day effortless tither for that matter. I've actually been off and on with it until I received my own personal revelation concerning it (tithe)... and ever since then, I've been practically enjoying open heavens. To God alone be all glory ![]() Themandator: Jhamzy:As I said earlier, I'd been off and on with tithing. The first time was for about 3 years or more none stop and I felt I really became poorer during the period in question. I had to stop when the suffering was too much and diverted the funds to cover up other "pressing needs" but the situation didn't really get better. After a year or more, out of "emotional conviction", I went back to tithing again. I remembered sobbing profusely this time around and asking God to forgive me for withdrawing from this viable kingdom engagement... but alas! the suffering persisted. After about 4 months, I stopped again because I felt I was practically going through a deeper financial humiliation. When I stopped tithing, I never stopped reading my Bible and listening to messages. Then I met 2 gentlemen in my area who were practically and effortlessly engaging in this kingdom secret. They are tireless givers and practically operating and enjoying open heavens; not only in financial abundance but also trading in other divine secrets. For example, one has raised up or should I say resurrected 9 dead bodies to life within a year and the tenth one just about a week ago (I love the healing gift), he has given over 160 scholarships (school fees payment) so far. Consistently, he feeds and clothe the poor especially the aged ones, etc. One thing about these young men is that they don't take any step except they're led or instructed to do so via divine direction or revelation and their SWIFT Obedience to such is amazing. Mind you, they are no pastors. This is a great story for another day. How did I get the divine key to tithing? I started sowing all manner of financial seeds too but this time around giving with joy/cheerfulness... not really expecting to receive back but creating an atmosphere of rest within me by seeing that others around me especially the needy smile and also giving to those who don't really need but because you desire the kind of divine gift or virtue they carry, you're personally compelled to. And then, I started experiencing inner peace... creating an atmosphere for divine visitation. Not long, while carrying out my normal chore of sweeping my compound around 5 am (five O'clock in the morning) and speaking in tongues (I do this a lot), I heard that "still small voice" within me say "Did you know that Abraham paid the tithe of all self-same day?". Immediately, I started meditating on this, recollecting that event when he went with over 300 armed men to save Lot and others who were taken captives. As he was returning from that journey he met Melchizedek and gave Him the tithe of all. Note that Abraham did not say to Melchizedek, let me get home first sort out these spoils, I will send 10 percent to you. Not that he may be wrong if he did it like that but his immediate action shows that he puts God first. In other words, Abraham laid it down fresh and immediately/swiftly (not leftover). Personally, I realised that one of the reasons it wasn't working for me previously was because I tend to have laid down "leftover" or "struggle to give it". For example, sometimes when I make money, I'll package my tithe inside an envelope with the intention that, on Sunday, it'll be dropped in the offering basket but once I get a need for cash or I'm broke before that day comes, I'll use the money for that immediate need and believe that once I get paid for some other jobs, I'll remove/pay the current and previously owed tithe from that ... For me, I've just abused that system. In essence, the interpretation of the revelation I received that day concerning tithing was that if I followed the steps of Abraham, I'll start experiencing the success he commands. To test the validity of this revelation I just received and fortunately for me, this is the era of technology and my church has an online presence/platform where you can easily send your seeds. Once I receive payment for any of my services, I pay my tithe immediately or before the day is over (for me, It must not exceed that day ). The results have been amazing. That very month I embraced that approach, I received more orders than I could handle ... and presently, I have orders queued up till next month as I write. In fact, don't let us talk in figures so as not to give some people heart attack ... To God alone be all the glory!Yes, it's true that what Jesus says to one, He says to all... but believe me, most times, personal encounter is pivotal in the school of success. Bishop David Oyedepo had a personal encounter when he went in search of the mystery behind kingdom prosperity... and on the third day, he received his own Word that God's covenant plan for prosperity doesn't answer to or had no respect for prayer and fasting but his part must be played before God can be committed (paraphrased). In the same wise, he caught the revelation for corporate tithing while at Sheraton Hotel. Did you observe that it was the same verse of scripture that he caught the revelation for corporate tithing that I caught mine too for immediate/self-same day tithing? Perhaps, someone had written about such encounter before but for me it was fresh because I'd never read it from any book before I received it. Vital Points To Note: * When God/Holy Spirit speaks to you, He does so via His Word (Bible). Therefore, read your Bible regularly. The moment He speaks, you'll be able to interpret or understand what He says to you via His Word that you already have the knowledge of. * Don't lay down your seeds just about anywhere. There's always an appointed place for you to do so. Lay it down where needs are being met both spiritually and practically. There, spiritual needs are truly being nourished. * Always give THANKS. It's the secret to multiplication and preservation. Don't just give your seeds (tithe, offerings, etc) without giving God quality thanks. Lift the seed up to Him as your five loaves and two fishes just as Jesus did... and you're bound to experience multiplication. * Free your mind when you give. Give cheerfully not grudgingly. The moment you think that the bishop/pastor is the one you're giving the seed to and technically he ought to give account of how he spends it, you've just lost that seed. Believe that you're giving it to God/Jesus (the author and the finisher of your faith) and He's the only one that can replenish you. This is where those who reason intellectually normally miss it. They believe that if it does't work for them, then it can't work for others/all because it's a waste of time and resources... and so, they vigorously speak against it. * Remember, "Until You're Empowered, You Can't Become It". The revelational knowledge of His Word is what boosts your faith the most. Once you get the key or right button, then your access is guaranteed. Wow ![]() . |
