NADECO members suffered under Abacha. Many of them fled abroad, some of them got detained, or roped up in coup things, people like Chief Rewane and Mrs Kudirat Abiola were executed by government agents linked to Abacha, and even those that were not suffering were harrased by government agents.

Also, people like Sowore suffered as you dey see am...he too had to go abroad.

Let me educate you, Apc didn't fall from heaven fully formed, presidency and party takes time to build and with the power and momentum obi had in labor, he could win lots of state government elections and start forming big structure like APC did till they won the first presidency in 2015 from the Almighty pdp.
