Politics / Imo Apc Leadership Out Of Okorocha's Hands Because He Played God' -von Dg, Osita by wakandanation(f): 8:03am On Jun 05, 2018
Following the conclusion of ward, local and state congresses of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo, Osita Okechukwu, Director-General, Voice of Nigeria (VON) and a chieftain of the party has advised Gov. Rochas Okorocha to leave the party if he so desires.

Okechukwu spoke on the heels of Gov. Okorocha’s disagreement with the outcome of the congresses held in Imo last month. He told newsmen at the APC national secretariat in Abuja on Monday that the APC would win the 2019 elections without Okorocha.

According to him, the actions and inactions of Okorocha have caused the APC more setbacks in the last four years in Imo and the South-East in general. He said recent development that made the governor to lose at the party´s just concluded congresses was a grand plan to reposition APC toward winning elections in the South-East.

“At least there are more than 60 political parties now. Okorocha is free to join any one of his choice, though, we are not forcing him to leave. What we are saying is that we have taken the leadership out of his hands because he is playing God; so, what I am saying is that he is at liberty to leave APC. But let nobody anywhere think that the APC will lose because we have retrieved the party from him. Mr president is going to get more votes, we are going to win more parliamentary seats, more governorship seats without him,” he said.

He noted that over 90 per cent of the leadership and membership of the APC in the South-East were against Okorocha and his style of governance.

Crime / #thisisnigeria: Man Explains Why Many Boys Engage In 'yahoo Plus" by wakandanation(f): 9:12am On May 30, 2018
This viral piece by Facebook user, Scofied Idehen clearly states in the most precise and true form the life of a Yahoo Boy and why they engage in the nefarious act.

See his piece below...

“YAHOO BOY While sitting at my window today trying to comprehend the amount of responsibility on my shoulders I heard a boy say: If I was a YAHOO BOY? Living in a porch apartment with a slay queen to wipe the codeine out of my mouth with a kiss while I breeze off to see my baby mama in my new 4matic my oyibo client just sent money for recently.

I will chill in a 5star hotel where people are paid to smile when they see me taking selfie at the hotel lobby why my father age wheels down my bag to a waiting room with a new catch lying on the couch just so she could cash out some of those notes?? I would live a dream life even for a few minute with my hair style looking like I just woke up from a 1year coma.
I will run and hide from the law enforcement agency and hide my iPhone 8 whenever I see an hilux, just so you know, it part of the thrill, the main thing that makes it all fun and when I am caught………… #thisisnigeria #POS #transfer #350,000 I will go to the club and buy coffin load of Champagne at a friends friend party I was not invited to while my mum can’t remember the last time she ate meat pie. ??its part of the fast lane, its part of the high voltage, while should I care.

After all, day break everywhere burst. Living off people’s sweat like the short life span of a mosquito that could not maneuver the hard slap of reality. Knowing tomorrow is not certain but why should I care, today is good enough But I am not a YAHOO boy he said, I can never be one.

To all those out there thinking about the short gain, think big and think right Good evening… I am Mr Animator.

Crime / White Kid Who Beat Black Teacher To Coma, Released Without Bail. by wakandanation(f): 1:35pm On May 28, 2018
A Minnesota student who viciously beat a Black teacher was released without bail Thursday after a court hearing.

On Tuesday, May 22, 18-year-old Corey David Burfield brutally beat Mohammed Dukuly, a paraprofessional at Harrison Education Center in Minneapolis, so much so that he had to be placed on life support after being left in critical condition.

Following the brutal assault, Corey Burfield was charged with one count of first-degree assault and one count of third-degree assault. But he was released without bail after District Judge William Koch decided that Burfield, who is white, was not a flight risk during the student’s appearance in Hennepin County District Court.

Burfield was allowed to go free. He only has to be kept under electric home monitoring and is to have no contact with Mohammed Dukuly, authorities said. The teen must also meet with a mental health professional within two weeks. Burfield’s mother told the judge that she was able to supervise her son.

Thankfully, as of Thursday, Dukuly was no longer on life support. He is sitting up and smiling, and is apparently making a dramatic recovery after being beaten unconscious.

As expected, Dukuly’s family and friends are not happy with the judge’s ruling on the matter.

Imam Dukuly, the victim's uncle, said: "Quite frankly, we are disappointed. For a serious case like this, I think he should’ve been on bail."

Wakanda Nation based on my finding, your site is still young barely a month it is launched. The domain name is good as it is drafted from the recent slang in a popular film.
Nevertheless, you could attract more traffic with the method of paying visitors to the site through the above highlighted packages.

Your competitors are Nairaland, NNU etc because you adopt the same web template as these mentioned fora.

You can do well to reduce the package fee, even NNU which is months older than you with more than unique visitors of 86,427 as at January, 2018 runs a package of #1,600. Considering that your renumeration is the same with this site as well, convincing people to join the forum may seems not logical under this fact.

I appreciate wakanda nation and I will still continue to check on the website, just in my opinion, reducing the registration fee will encourage more visitors ( I can pull more than your total members as of today provided you work on the charge).
Thanks for your view!

HACKING YOUR LIFESTYLE!

Back in the day, I had a friend who loved to travel. As in... she set a goal to make international trips at least 4 times a year.

We (poor people) used to see her as a 'money miss road', but when I got to really know her, I realised she wasn't even rich, just DETERMINED to acquire specific experiences.

She would scrounge and live as cheaply as possible in order save up for her trips.

I was able to understand her approach a lot more when I started studying Personal Development.

If you've been surrounded by lack and scarcity all your life, it can be hard for the mind to accept prosperity when it eventually comes.

Sometimes, you have to subliminally hack your mindset and belief systems.

YOU DON'T NEED A LOT OF MONEY TO DO THIS!

See ehn... The Nigerian version of poverty is sick. It leaves many people open and exposed to abuse by the bastards of this world.

Some people have suffered so much that it can feel unreal for a well dressed person to address them politely, "Welcome, sir." or "Have a nice day, ma'am" or even "What would you like?"

At least once a week or month (depending on your wallet), go to Four Points by Sheraton, Eko Hotel or Raddisson Blu Hotel with a budget of 12k.

7k for the lunch buffet and approx. 5k for an Uber/Taxify ride depending on where you live.

Dress like a million bucks, get your face beat and absorb the feeling of being chauffeured as a 'madam' around the city. Eez your money.

Enjoy the feeling of being driven to the lobby, not the hotel gate oh... the very lobby where the uniformed bellboys smile like they're happy to see you.

Smile back as they say, "Welcome to Radisson Blu, ma'am".

Even though you know your way, do like say you miss road. Go to the reception and ask them where the restaurant is. I'm adding this so you get to talk to people who are OBLIGATED AND TRAINED to be nice to you.

Get to the restaurant and REQUEST a table with a perfect view. Then go to the buffet and EXERCISE YOUR POWER TO CHOOSE.

Get back to your table and eat the delicious food slowly, not in a hurry. There's no scarcity here.

You belong here.

When you get back home, your mind will begin to change.

The experience itself will not make you rich, but your self esteem will greatly improve.

When your self esteem improves, you begin to feel like you deserve more.

When you feel like you deserve more, you get more confident and creative on how to get more.

Your mind will be stimulated to imagine more creative product ideas and monetization streams. You'll start calling up important people who can help make this happen for you.

Do 'money miss road things' at least once a week/month.

- Go to a stage play.

- Come together with friends and rent a private beach house for a day.

- Breeze into a coffee shop just to enjoy the scents and exceptional quality of service.

With these experiences, you'll go to bed with high quality images and dream in colour.

You'll wake up with better quality ideas and matching levels of courage.

=========

Na so I take make my 1st million.

This was the real reason I paid to attend Steve Harris's MBT event in 2014. It wasn't really for the information per se.

I heard it was holding at Protea Hotels, plus I wanted to be in a room where everyone was talking about millions continually.

After that event, my mind had shifted.

33 days later, an opportunity came that I would normally charge 80k for, but I wasn't the same guy. Courage and creativity emerged from a reserve I never knew existed.

What was shyness again?

I carried myself and made my pitch like an Omo Baba Olowo.

I charged 3 million. They paid.

=========

See, regardless of your background it is possible to enjoy the best things of this world in your lifetime, but your old conditioning will attempt to play tricks on you to hold you back.

Play tricks on your mind too.

HACK YOUR MIND.

How Banks Make Billions – You too Can: Part 2

Here is the second part for your reading pleasure.

What I have shared is not just a story, but a practical experience and what I am currently applying in my business, and I have also helped so many businesses to accept some of this concept to grow their businesses.

I have seen several arguments and responses that this concept might not apply to most businesses, yes, it’s true but it depends on where you are and where you want to be per time. I have reviewed several businesses both local and global and I have seen some of this strategy work for them, including the top global revenue generators like Walmart, Amazon, google, Facebook, Apple.

People say some products are premium like apple, yes, I agree, but the truth is because of our exchange rate, standard of living strength of our currency, it now looks like some foreign products are out of reach to most Africans. Apple is a value product properly priced for their market.

The average minimum wage earner in the US can afford an iPhone which is the mass market, while in Africa or Nigeria you must be in the middle class and earn a minimum of N400k to be able to afford a brand-new iPhone, add to the fact that no telco's will even give you a plan, so you repay little by little which is very common in the western world. In 2017 Alone apple sold over 200million phones and targeting 300 million in 2018 that’s about the population of west Africa and have sold 77million in first quarter alone.

Having a lean customer base, no matter the type of product you sell, can never cut it for you. Even some Oil companies don go for countries with low population they want to import refined products into Nigeria where the consumption rate is high in month.

Straight to the second things Banks do:

2. Banks create products for every potential customers:

Banks segment their customers and create value products that will suite them. You know why they do this? So, they can increase their customer and cash deposit base because they call it cheap funds. So the ultimate goal is to have as much as they can get from these cheap deposits. There is no customer discrimination if the person is bringing money.
They always work tirelessly to create a product for any identified customer segment if there is a market and crowd for it. The crowd factor is key here, the product might be similar and the same with every other high valued product, but the entry point will just be made easy.

So those who think they are enjoying the banks premium product, stop deceiving yourself you are just paying higher than most people, but everything is same, if they say you have access to lounges when you use a card, just know you are the one paying for that lounge and the drinks you enjoy there. In business nothing comes free to the customer you pay for it one way or the other, they gather all the thing you like put it together as a package and you pay for it based on the amount you can afford.

It is also very important to note why you should segment your customer especially in Africa, the rich want to have something the poor can’t afford, and the poor wants to have what looks like that thing the rich is holding, so you create a balance on your product.

If you find this informative and valuable, please drop a comment.

How Banks Rake in Billions – You too Can: Part 1

People wonder how banks make so much money year in year out, sometimes it looks like the banks are doing extra ordinary things, yes it looks that way.
You will not understand except you have been there, even when you have been there you need to know how the business works.
If you understand their secret, you can also replicate that formula in building your businesses.

Any business can apply that same strategies and get exact same results in what they do. So am going to share a little of what they actually do in a series, so this is the first part.

So what do banks leverage on?

1. Customer Base:
The more numbers you have the better for you as a business. This is one of the most important things banks look at, their customer base is very important to them.

Before, banks used to be specialized, like commercial banks, merchant banks, some even classified themselves as international banks etc, until most realized they have been missing in the retail business when they saw the profit and deposit base of those new banks that started like STB who latter became UBA, Access banks, Diamond and then GTbank.

Every bank in Nigeria applied for a commercial license and became jack of all trade in banking, then the crazy chase of more customers started and became more intense as everybody want to increase their customer base to millions, some banks today in Nigeria have over 6million active customers on their database, you know what? this is money.

The banks don’t see people as crowd they see money, that’s why when major events happen, the banks don’t mind spending they will always reap much more than their investment.

That’s how GTbank upped their game by allowing the crowd no matter who you are they accepts you, now their cash deposit base is in Trillions.

So when you are putting up your product don’t go for only the high value, most people do the high value and forget the crowd who might want to buy your product but your product has gone out of their reach.

Yes some people will say they are not for everybody, this is the same thing some banks said years back and today they accept everybody, the truth is that if you are not for everybody your revenue will be limited or at most one big ticket. The banks are more interested in recurrent income not one of.

For example, if you have a product and you intend to price it for N5,000 because you have made your calculation that if 100 people buy it that will be N500,000 while if you bring down the price by 40% you have the potential of reaching 500 people which will come up to 1.5Million.
the higher your product pricing the less subscribers you will ever get, there is no trick to it.

So a customer base of 1,000 active people doing business with you paying N500 Naira monthly is better than a customer base of 200 customers who paid a one off fee of N10,000. Do the maths.

The more the people you have the higher your revenue and the more likely you have repeat customers.

Imagine banks now with customer base of over 6million active base doing transactions day in day out. That’s why they declare billions.

We will continue on this series, please drop a comment as I will like to read your feedback.

Before the coming of money, what women loved the most are material wealth of men...

Those days there are men that have wealth, landed properties, ships, animals, large farmlands and many slaves, men that have their own kingdom and dynasty and that is why, they married so many wives...

So women have always loved material things since time immemorial..

Women have been said to love men with money. In fact, some of them argue that a man without money isn't man enough and as such isn't worthy of their time or attention.
However, we all know that there was a time when money wasn't a means of exchange and didn't command value.
The question now is, what do you think women loved most in men before the advent of money?

Let's hear your thought!
