Hello house

I picked up our visas on Monday but my daughter's BRP letter was missing. So I sent them an email requesting for it.

They sent the BRP letter to me this morning but later on, they sent me another email asking me to return the passport to the VAC for the visa error to be corrected.

I was a little confused but later I discovered that they had stated her visa expiration (the vignet sticker) as Oct 2022, instead of April 2021 that the rest of us have.


My problem now is that I am worried about how long it will take them to return the passport to me. So I am tempted to just ignore since the visa dates appear valid for travel. Gurus in the house, please what do you think?

Or has anyone had to return their passport for correction? If yes, how long did it take for them to send back the passport?

I got decision/collection mail for me & kids yesterday and my husband's own today. So don't worry, hopefully it would come tomorrow

I applied on the 14th January 2021 with my spouse
Walk in/Priority.
No decision mail.
Collection mail on the 25th January for mine.
Still waiting for bae's decision/collection mail.


Seniors in the house, are we not supposed to get the collection mail together?
Else should we be worried?

I may not really have asked questions on this thread but I definitely found a lot of answers and resources from reading the thread. It has also been a great support group for me, especially through the waiting.

Big thank you to everyone for all your contributions. And for those still awaiting, I pray you all get your visas soon.

I did biometrics on December 30th. (Applicant & 4 dependants)

I received visas for 4 of us yesterday and I have already gotten collection mail for the remaining 1 dependant (spouse), this morning. So I think they may be getting closer to January standard applications.

I did mine on Dec 30 (Standard in VI) and I haven't received any mail yet.
