You are still a baby 1. What am I looking for on your thread? - oga this is social media, when you own your own nairaland, PERSONALIZE IT! 2. I am still a baby? - So you who cannot decide if to give your said girlfriend a meger N30k, but need advice from social media is the matured person? I'll rather prefer to remain a baby, than to be matured like you. 3. God bless you |

lordreigneth: Hello all good morning all Yesterday I visited my girlfriend in her house, When I saw her she was in bad mood I asked her why and she began to narrate her story how broke she was and been unemployed after finishing her NCE She was almost crying.....
Then I encouraged her.... I just met her not long and I love her so much but I don't like spending money on woman because they termed such men as mugun
She has already demanded 30k from me for a business she wants to do here in port Harcourt to make ends meet tho she is a Yoruba lady.
Not that I don't have the money but ladies at times termed such men as mugun u will think u are helping them but they go around showing their friends the mugun. But when I visited her yesterday she almost broke into tears when narrating her ordeal... Should I give her the money or part of the money for her business or I shouldn't give her anything...... Pls urgent advice from matured minds... Thanks Send the money to me, I'll give it to her for you |

Longeaton: Dear Nairalanders, a friend of mine (Wale) is in urgent need of your advice. There goes the story... My friend received two job offers from China Civil Engineering Construction Consurtium (CCECC) and Access Bank last week. Wale is finding it difficult to choose between the two offers. Wale has MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering. So he is inclined to working in an engineering industry. But the problem is CCECC want to pay him 55k monthly despite is qualification and he has to work from Monday to Saturday (7:30am- 6pm). Also he learnt the management of CCECC do not treat their staff well. Please Nairalanders! Should he accept the Access bank job since the pay is high (250k a month) though their might not be career growth Chinese company is worse than Nigerian banks, he should go with the bank and port asap if he's as ambitious as described |

Bankalert: "The way to wealth, if you desire it, is as plain as the way to market. It chiefly depends on two words, industry and frugality"; that is waste neither time nor money, but make the best use of both.- Benjamin franklin
1. Shop with a list and stick to it 2. Avoid ATMs Charges- plan ahead for your cash needs. 3. Does your bank charge high fees? MOVE YOUR ACCOUNT. 4. Pay off that debt. 5. If you must use your ATM for shopping, shop around for a lower rate. 6. Look for lower premiums on your insurance policies. 7. Check all medical and hospital bills for errors- some insurance companies offer rewards. 8. Rent-never buy something you would use only a few times. 9. Email your friends instead of calling- whatsapp, facebook e.t.c 10. Skip the movies#cinemas- rent a video instead. 11. Love to dine out? eat in instead. 12. Lunch is "in the bag"- or it should be. 13. Dont buy that book! Exercise your library card. 14. Watch a parade or have picnic- free entertainment is often the best...lolz 15. Join the "bus crowd" and avoid cab fare. 16. What's in a name? buy generic product instead. 17. Skip the paper towels- wash your cloth ones instead. 18. Watch out for "convenience" foods- they are expensive and not as healthy for you anyway. 19. Avoid "pricey" specialty stores. 20. Got a trunk? buy in bulk #Wholesale mentality. 21. Forget the words "automatic car wash" - do it yourself and get some fresh air. 22. cancel that premium channel you never watch- or cancle cable TV altogether. 23. Don't touch that thermostat- put on a sweater instead. 24. Have an energy audit done on your home. 25. DON'T PLAY THE LOTTERY- the odds of getting hit by lightning are better than your chances of winning. In addition, Do not Gamble....your odds of winning are not any different than the above said. 26. Pay yourself first- set aside a set amount you can save a day. 27. create a piggy bank for the spare changes you keep finding in your room. 28. Don't spend your next pay raise- INVEST THAT MONEY INSTEAD
