If it’s an online application, I think it may be a good sign.
But I have never done a medical test

Dear Wale,

Please so many people are looking for ways to tighten there way to contact the CIC, how did it happen, how were you able to control your school to give you this letter...what did you tell the your school?
School resumes tomorrow, and I constantly update them via mails on the status of my visa. And they asked whether them writing a letter on my behalf would help and I agreed. That's how they sent me a letter addressed to the high commission.

dinho10,

The school has no right whatsoever to expedite the processing of a Student Visa application.
My school wrote a letter addressed to the high commission in Lagos in order to try and help expedite the process. I uploaded the letter during the week.

Does updating an application with important updates such as 'employment change' elongate the processing time of a student visa?

Did u request for such letter from your school ...?

No I didn't. I only informed them that there might be a delay with the issuance of my visa. So they said they will help in their own way.

I don't know if New Brunswick is a good school, but you wouldn't get a good MBA program without a good gmat score

It's past 9weeks already. Aren't you thinking about sending CIC a case specific mail? Was it an online application? If online, when did you complete your biometrics requirements?
Once it's 9 weeks, I will proceed. There are quite a lot of us that haven't received updates I believe.

Good evening gurus in the house.

Please I need someone to advice me on what to do.

I have an admission with NSCC college Canada and am supposed to resume 4th September but yet to apply. My 1st term tuition due date is August 3rd and will bring making the payment by next week before th deadline then proceed with the visa application process .

Then my question.

What if am denied visa, will my tuition fee be refunded back to me?

Is it too late for me to apply in August, knowing fully well the visa process takes more than a month and am supposed to resume 4 September?

Please your advice and opinions are welcome..
God bless

I think the question on refund in the case of visa denial should be directed to your school. Some schools have non refund policies. Some schools you can defer etc.

I wish there was a different trend/topic created for those that have gotten their visa and those that have traveled to Canada. So that we can easily ask questions there. It will be mush more ideal for this trend to be focused more on those people about to get their visa. Just saying!

I think this is a link for that.
