The unabated and unbridled daredevil corruption in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the height of impunity has never been seen in any circle in the history of this country. An institution where you are and under your very nose, terrible corruption, and the high Morales with which it is carried out is shocking.

I was employed in the the University as a full time tutorial staff under the regime of the immediate former Vice Chancellor, Professor B. C. Ozumba and lecture in university of Nigeria Enugu campus. Being a lecturer in the school has been a nightmare as you are living at the mercy of God and literally resort to borrowing and begging for survival.

Since I was employed, for almost 17 months now, no salary has entered my hands. Initially, I was thinking that it was the whole university new staff that were being owed having heard that I am not the only one in such predicament and indeed, I am not, but not all the new staff.

My thoughts were proved wrong when I noticed that some who even came far after I was employed have been receiving their salaries from the first day they came. Moreso, some who were on enquiry confirmed that they have started receiving theirs. Being curious about what happened that some received while some others don't, I was reliably informed that if you don't know and understand the game, you'll wreck in Hunger. That, aroused my curiosity the more! Unfortunately, the game is not open. I have gone several times to the bursar, who kept referring me to the head of management information systems (MIS) and GITMIS personnel cost an office within the bursary department who is in the person of Mr. Chiedozie Nwachukwu, who treats staff as heap of trash. My experiences with him was better told than experienced. The same Mr. Chiedozie Nwachukwu referred me back to the bursar Mr. Edeh who referred me to him and they will be turning you up and down till you're worn out. This happened several times for several days until I started suspecting foul play.

When I couldn't understand the beating of drums, I went underground asking colleagues who have started receiving theirs the secret behind the selected payment and the revelation I got was shocking and after all, my suspicions was proved to be true.

Mr. Chiedozie Nwachukwu whose duty it is to gazette the names of staff to receive their salaries must be settled with a certain percentage of the salary for your name to be gazette or you wallow in penury. The percentage depends on your bargaining power and the guy that introduces you to him for such dirty deal. The percentage spans from 20% to 50% of your salary and once you start receiving, you'll be paid from the month of your settlement and your arrears will be in history. This is sickening and disgustingly sad to be real but it is! I am calling on all meaning Nigerians and Justice Department to look into this daredevil corruption and impunity going on in a such an academic sector as the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. This evil has to stop for crying out loud! How on earth can someone work and will still pay Mr Chiedozie Nwachukwu if you must receive your rightful entitlement! This is a social evil which must not be allowed to continue.

The class rep reported that the lecturer gave the students mtrls for which they should come to class with for general discussion. He found out that some brought it while some did not. He asked those who did not bring their to leave the class as a way of discipling them. Those who brought theirs also left the class in protest and sympathy for their class mates, meaning that they boycotted the class. The lecturer continued to teach for those willing to return to class to do so. Meanwhile one of them covered the lecture from the window. What a generation

STATEMENT 1
What I could discover from this recruitment is that those that have gotten ODVI scored a perfect score in their cognitive test and work style or personality test. There is no point benchmarking them as they scored all or at least 90% correct.

STATEMENT 2
Those that have received regret mail failed their personality test. I don't think there is anyone that chose strongly agree all through in the personality test that has received regret mail. so since they fail the personality test, the system didn't bother considering their cognitive test scores.

STATEMENT 3
Those yet to to receive regret mail passed their personality but their cognitive tests have been benchmarked for now. But I can say only very few will get considered after the benchmarking stage for ODVI. Shell would most likely get back to those waiting on or before Friday.

NB: My above statements were drawn from personal fact and reality from at least 5 shell WhatsApp groups I belong to.
I personally applied on Monday 08/07/2019 and completed the tests on 10/07/2019 and got the ODVI invite on 14/07/2019 which I have since completed.
I already have screenshots even before applying which made my test scores to be perfect. One of my demo accounts I applied with passed the personality test just because I chose strongly agree all through but I click anyhow answers without reading questions while taking screenshots just to be fast with it, yet I'm yet to get regret mail with that demo account as well which confirm my STATEMENT 3.

For those doubting the OVDI, you may do well to keep abreast with the previous thread on this company's recruitment. There are 3 outcomes from the test; a regret mail, a pending mail and a success mail; the 1st and 3rd likely to be received some 48-72 hours after the test. For the 2nd, my guess is that it is dependent on the availability of space for the role applied(Shell almost always applies a first come, first serve basis) more often that not regret mails are sent later. I wish everyone the very best.

You are so wrong about you suspicions because shell slightly changed their method of recruitment this year. And saying the pending mail is based on their availability of space cos of first come first serve purpose ,u re wrong cvos I applied on d very first day d recruitment was posted on d net ,I and my friend,the next day we were sent mails which we did and finished d test on d same day, two days later my friend got a regret mail but I havent received any mail yet. I strongly believe that mails for odvi is yet to be sent and those who have written d first stage of d test on d first week and haven't received regret mails till now re tru to d next stage. Shell is not run by Nigerians that they waste time to communicate to applicants abt their status of applications or test, but d delay in sending odvi is because they want the deadline for application to elaspe which is on Sunday 21th before they start serndfing odvi mails collectively to successful candidates, this is so because the ve a stipulated number of people they need and once it gets to that number they start regarding other applications as late entries and such might be disqualified,that's y they advised anyone to take d test within 5days of receiving it and they themselves try as much as possible to send anyone who applied rightyly d link for d test on d same day they applied so that if anyone applies like on 20th, before he gets d link and maybe submits his test it would be too late that's y earlier application is also advised.
