If I were in your shoes I would have another look at the installation. What is the size of the pipe going into the washing machine? The pipe should be 3/4 inches. This increases pressure at the last mile. Check to ensure this has not been modified to suit the Nigerian way of plumbing. A bigger pipe dimension will reduce pressure.

Another option is to run direct a dedicated pipe straight from the water tower with the right pipe dimension. The electricians do same for things like cooker or a/c.

I will not rush to booster option just yet as the home water pressure is ok. I would explore the installation option first before bringing out the bazooka.

The hose you have in the image is what was packaged with the washing machine, ( 2 piece at about 2 meters or so ).

You could be right with regards to running a straight line with that hose or pipe size. What is fixed to the tank is the regular pipe size and it goes a few meters away from the tank before it’s connected to smaller pipes.

Tbh, i havent had any need for high pressure water supply within the house so i havent bothered about these things.

There are several merchant here selling booster pump. And installation of booster pump is not rocket science for plumbers wey sabi.

I have one useless plumber wey sabi work but I wont make mistake of asking you to send him money to buy the pump but he can carry out diagnosis and tell you what'll work best in your situation.

This is incorrect for my circle.

We are used to certain water pressures from the USA so we add booster pumps.

Hence if I’m going to be doing that then there’s no need for natural weak pressure.

I am interested in your conversation about water pressure and booster pumps as i am facing a related low-water pressure issue.

Recently i bought a fully automatic Hisense washing machine to be used at my place. After the installation at home ( to the water inlets) , we powered the machine and water wasnt going in. ( But the machine works pretty well if filled with water manually by pouring water into it).

The machine was returned to the dealership who also sent it to the service center for diagnosis and repairs, but later the machine was returned with an “OK” service status.

After several tests at my place we discovered that the water pressure from my tanks was too low to open the selenoid inlet valves which was amazing because the tanks are about 5 feet above the ground and are huge GP Tanks.

I had to test the machine again by connecting it directly to the 1.5HP submersive pump supplying water to the tanks, then the machine inlet valves were properly opened under that amount of pressure.

Right now i’m setting for installing water booster pump specifically for just the washing machine ( the house water supply works pretty fine and i dont want to go through the headache of raising the tanks higher, which i dont even think would be a sufficient fix )

Do have recommendations on where i can get the water booster pumps from either within Lagos or if it’s waybill-able and do you know of any plumber who can install it in such a way that it works perfectly with the washing machine with no alteration to the washing machine ( washing machine is still under 1 year warranty )?

Also considering that the washing machine only expects to take in water on few occasions during the operation cycle.

If you were in my shoes how would you DIY this?

can you or have you created a us bank account in global payment service? If you haven't, try to see if you can create a usa bank account, if you can, add the account details to your upwork and use the created us bank account to receive your upwork funds. I would have said you should just link your payoneer account directly to your upwork acc from your upwork payment settings ( you can still do that) but doing it that way, <b> you won't be able to sell the funds until you received funds through global payment service atleast once. </b>

I have already added payoneer to my upwork account, but i havent transferred anything.

I think i saw the global payment service option in Payoneer, i dont know how it works though.
Can we talk on a call or something?

Don't try to add an account with a different name to your Payoneer. Payoneer could ban you permanently if you violate their terms of service

They asked for bank statement as verification. Is there a way i can cancel it or do i just ignore and till my own dorm account is ready?

Is there a way to cancel a pending bank account?

@wane01 Have you done identity verification on payoneer? ( uploading id card and verifying your address by uploading utility bill?) if you have done that you shouldn't have any problem, once you get the funds in your payoneer account just sell the funds here on nairaland, if you haven't done any verification, it is best you wait, payoneer support is terrible. in the past, i have had my money stuck there for more than a month. I won't advice you withdraw the money directly from upwork to your local bank account, the rates are just too bad, unless the money you are withdrawing isn't much or you really need the money now.

I did identity verification using my international passport. I havent been prompted to verify address neither have i seen the place to do it.\

Yea, bank rates are just sad. I had to convert about over $1200 recently at bank rates and i still get upset when i remember it.

Hi guys this is somewhat payooner related, but i hope to get some advise.

I tried linking a dorm account owned by someone else to my payoneer account, and i’ve been prompted to provide bank account statement as a means of verification for the added account.

So i wanted to fund Payoneer with my earning on Upwork, then withdraw the money from payoneer to a dorm account before exchanging with a BDC ... they direct bank exchange is too poor + the $30 wire transfer is another rip off ( i’ve already been charged almost $150 as 20% fee by upwork )

I still havent transferred the money yet, but i’m scared of my payoneer account getting frozen due to the verification which i have ignored. I plan getting my own dorm account with GTB next week, so i can use that.

Would you suggest i ignore the pending verification and still transfer the funds? ( would the payoneer account be flagged for this?)

Or would you suggest i get the pending dorm account approved by payoneer first before going further? ( i can reach the account owner for needed documents)

Or would you suggest i just forget about it all and safely withdraw to my local account? ( bearing the low exchange rate.. )

Any advise would be appreciated.
Just in case something goes wrong, who has successfully contacted payoneer support recently?

I dont have a full structured explanation for you but this problem is very common with GraphQL APIs. Especially when having a deep nested schema.

Its happens when you have a recursive SQL query. So one way to mitigate it is being doing a depth limit ( when using GraphQL ).

Facebook built Dataloader which batches the query and transforms it into a single SQL operation.

Sad part of this problem is that its not very noticeable except when using youre using a 3rd party logging service to log out your application queries.

if you really want to understand it I'd advise you search for it within a GraphQL API context. Since its a common problem there, they're many articles on it
