The president appears to be a coward as he couldn't even visit the bomb sites rather he ran to the hospitals doing rounds as if he is the chief matron. Please somebody should tell the president he was elected to be the commander in chief and not a chief matron. |

obailala: Someone tarnishes the lives of millions of Nigerians and also tarnishes the presidency of Mr Ebele and some warrior here is concerned about her image... Look here, the greatest joy of well meaning Nigerians is that she was arrested by UK authorities and not in Nigeria, else some jobless plebs would have printed placards and started protests using the very same line of argument you are presently using.
If you are asking what the charge is against her, I would advise you to get a visa, go to London and ask them that silly question. As far as reasonable Nigerians are concerned, there is great joy in the land over this news of the arrest of the queen of thieves. You don't even know what her offense and you're here already condemning her. Are you not ashamed of yourself? You just want her jailed for doing what exactly? Where's your sense of justice fairness and equity? |

babaearly: I feel your pain, its at Nigeria for not giving you a chance at getting a job or at getting out of poverty. But if you want to follow the OP on such a foolish chase, then ask yourself if you would hold Your son accountable for Your sins That is your innocent son will go to jail because you are a fraud. I know you would tell me go to hell..
Then why are you now rejoicing because a grown up woman spoke her mind? She has a right to her opinion. Don't destroy her "Ancestors" because of what she said. Can't you get it; your opinion doesn't matter.

Boss13: I know CACOL has been raising issues of corruption on Fashola throughout his administration. Another petition that I can remember is that of the former minister of state of defense, Musiliu Obanikoro, another masterstroke fraudster, was on the Ikoyi bridge and Lekki-Epe concession. I am astonished that Lagosians, either deliberately kept quiet or claim ignorance over these two pertinent issues. I remember clearly when riot police officers wiped protesting Lekki residents to their various houses when they were protesting the tolling of the roads. This same Lekki-Epe express road is yet to be completed. I have cited in previous threads, that the concession was conceived by a very good financial fraudster.
Let's stop being biased and be honest, Fashola's administration was filled with propaganda and less action. Even Ambode, another slacker, had to revoke some many lands acquired and gifted by Fashola. I do not know what kind of pressure Buhari went through to pick him as a minister-nominee, however, I would have felt the same way he went about appointing the NNPC MD should be applicable. We do not need recycled politicians, we want fresh thinking, ideas popping technocrats. God bless you. This shows the insincerity of the so called fight against corruption. Their stand depends on who's involved. Bunch of hypocrites |

What's really stopping the EFCC and ICPC from investigating this matter since 2013? Are we sure we are ready for this fight against stealing and corruption? Are they waiting for orders from the president before they can do their works? Why targeting people that are not political allies or in good books of the president? There are a lot of questions begging for answers in this lopsided fight against corruption which is a corrupt act on its own |

Good. let justice be done. If she is found wanting, let her go in for it. If not, she should be set free immediately. Any form of media trial should be discouraged but let fairness equity and justice prevail. She remains innocent until proven guilty |

I still maintain these APC guys are utterly clueless on how to govern Nigeria. Shame on this evil cult called APC . I StOla: Go and change the laws that established the unity schools and stop making noise where it is of no relevance. It is not a school of merit or for the gifted. It is a unity school for National Integration.
If you are not interested, get your kids into private schools where you may actually get admission by academic merit, but you would also pay the true worth of the education received, unlike the subsidized unity school.
Why must you always covet what does not belong to you? You have your quota, they have theirs, is that to difficult for a greedy soul to deal with?
I have no time for tribal arguments on a Monday.
Do you ever give yourself any rest from tribal agitations? Why are you this dumb? So sorry I forgot you were born and brought up with a slave mentality. |

Politics › Re: Another Injustice Against Igbos As Common Entrance Cut Off Mark Is Released by warrior01(op): 1:04pm On Oct 05, 2015 |
P StOla: Each state is filling its guaranteed quota in a federal education scheme designed for unity. It is not an admission based on academic merit but on compulsory representation.
It is nobody's business what low score or high score you require to fill up your own state quota. The high score only suggest better literacy indices in the South as opposed to the North. No state is cheating the other, neither will any state yield its quota to another state until there's no candidate from the original state to fill their rightful quota
Anyone who has no space to fill in their state quota can always try the myriad of state owned public schools or private school.
Lastly, what has the released marks got to do with a specific targeting of Igbos? You goes should please shut the hell up.
Enough of this unnecessary misinformation. Why are you such a hypocrite? Are you now saying we should jettison merit for mediocrity? I thought you said you guys are the most educated in the country then why are the cut off marks allocated to south western states lower than South East ? For how long will this disparity continue? Does this affirm the believe that the south Eastern part of Nigeria remain the most educated? As for the insults, you're forgiven as you have just shown you're a product of the quota system. |
