Are we now finally back to reality? What happened to Buhari's body language or is the odour becoming unbearable? The sooner the government stops all theses childish propaganda and face real governance the better. |
This has shown that Okorocha has finally gone mad. My sincere apologies to ndigbo for once supporting him , it was a big mistake and it would never happen again |
Can anyone now argue that these Apc goons have nothing to offer this country except excuses. Is a state like Anambra which Lagos is currently indebted to , not in this same Nigeria? They receive less allocation and has an economy that dwarfs that of Osun and this directs to responsible leader which the Apc lacks. Just take a look at most Apc states, it debts galore and the way they use propaganda such as this to deceive their gullible followers is something I can't still fathom out. For the sake of this country, I implore the Apc to take responsibility even for once on their failures and stop looking for whom to blame |
Sorry Nigeria, you are being fooled |
This shows that none of them is clean and this and this emergency fight against corruption without due process being followed is just a witch hunt against perceived enemies. But whatever which way it goes, Nigerians win as the thieving elite is being scattered by their prayers and long suffering. |

The Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has begun the process of relieving over 200 of its employees, employed during the tenure of former President Goodluck Jonathan. According to 234 Press, the first batch of 25 people were on Thursday, September 17, 2015 served their dismissal letters, with most of them said to cut across junior and management staff employed by the last administration of Patrick Akpobolokemi, and the former NIMASA Director-General, Temisan Omatseye. According to the report, a peep into the list of sacked staff shows that most of affected staff are from the South South and South East geo-political zones. According to maritime industry experts, this amounts to victimization and an “ethnic cleansing” with notable maritime expert, Barrister Cajitan Ilomuanyan, saying: “this act is very unfortunate as much as it is audacious. “What we are witnessing since the emergency of Mr. Haruna Baba Jauro is demotion of staff while he is promoting people of his region; this no doubt is creating problem for President Buhari, as this tend to create an impression that the President is against other ethnic regions”. |
Hmm! Interesting match. The CPC, ACN against the New PDP faction, who's going to carry the day. We are watching |
Loving this Apc drama. The five leprous fingers that made up the Apc fighting for control of the legislative arm of government. Change indeed |
The question remains why the hurry to arrest and embarrass Saraki when some issues concerning the case is yet to be sorted out at the Federal High Court. Lawyers in the house over to you |
CCT Defiance of Subsisting Court Order : Our Stand Following the development in the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) today, Friday, September 18, 2015 when the Tribunal chose to ignore the subsisting order of a Federal High Court by sitting, we hereby state our position as follows: 1. While the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, had stated and maintains that he is ready to submit himself to due process of the law on any issue concerning him, he also believes he has an inalienable right to resort to the same judiciary for protection when he feels his fundamental rights are about to be infringed upon. 2. It is for this reason that Dr. Saraki, having satisfied himself that the case filed by the CCB and the manner in which the case was filed show that he will not be given justice, resorted to the Federal High Court for the determination of the issues of competence of the prosecutor as well as compliance with the procedure stipulated in the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act. 3. The Federal High Court on Thursday, September 17, 2015, therefore ordered that the all parties in the case should appear before it on Monday, September 21, 2015. The implication of this ruling by a Court of competent jurisdiction is that the sitting today has been overtaken by event. It is for this reason that Dr. Saraki chose to go about with his normal official schedule. 4. Today at the Tribunal, Counsel to the Senate President, Mr. M. A. Mahmud (SAN), raised a motion stating that there is a pending constitutional matter before the Federal High Court to be decided on Monday and that the Tribunal should hold the trial until the constitutional matter is disposed of. 5. We are however dismayed that the Tribunal chose to disregard the order of the Federal High Court and the motion to suspend hearing till Monday when all parties are expected to argue their positions on the constitutional matter. 6. It is also a surprise to us that despite the application by the lead counsel to the Senate President that he will produce Dr. Saraki on Monday and the personality of the person involved as the Number three man in the country, the Tribunal insisted on issuing a warrant of arrest as if its intention is simply to embarrass Dr. Saraki. We are not unmindful of the fact that the Tribunal is acting under political influence and external pressure. This is dangerous to our democracy. 7. The conduct of the Tribunal today left nobody in doubt that it cannot do justice on the matter before it. It is also clear that today's decision is an abuse of the rule of law which portends danger to our judicial system. The Tribunal has equally set a bad precedent in the way and manner it conducted itself during the proceedings. 8. We want to emphasise the fact that this is not part of any war against corruption but using state institutions to fight political opponents and seeking to achieve through the back door what some people cannot get through democratic process. 9. We need to caution here that in a desperate bid to settle political scores and nail imaginary enemies, we should not destroy our democratic institutions and heat the polity for selfish reasons. Let us all learn from history. 9. The Senate President is a law abiding citizen who will not do anything to undermine the judicial process and authority. However, Dr. Saraki will always act to protect his fundamental human rights. End Signed Yusuph Olaniyonu Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) to the Senate President. https://m.facebook.com/bukola.saraki/posts/10153677383184962 |
Chai! When are we going to catch up with these guys? Here in Nigeria, as of today, we are still battling how to generate electricity ( not yet transmission o!) in 2015. Are we really cursed or are we the cause? |
aresa:Stop being clever by half as we know who controls the security forces. Amaechi and Fashola happens to be in the rulers good books for now; just wait till they go outta line. |
Happy Birthday to my guy, wish I would more than this for you. |
chosen04:I noticed the hypocrisy of pa Eziachi on the issues raised. May God save us from these types of biased elders. |
Eziachi:I am not making excuses for Saraki but the motive behind it is very questionable. How come the CCB never invited Saraki to come and clarify the issues before being charge to court without proper notification? No matter the side you belong, due process must be followed or we risk using the institutions for abuse and witch hunting of political enemies. More so, I don't see anything wrong in Saraki going to court to enforce his fundamental rights. |
stanech:You mean eliminating competition? Let's watch how it pans out. Very excited about the case |
Eziachi:Pa Eziachi, good day sir. In as much as I would concur with you on some points made, I think you're being a hypocrite. If my memory serves me right, what was your reaction on this same forum when Buhari was being accused of certificate forgery? You all said he was being hounded but today you're feeling different. Please stop pointing fingers and let Nigerians which you called accursed, express themselves in their hypocritical ways. |
shaddoww:Don't be too excited, we have seen more drama than this before. The prisons are only made for the poor and political enemies . |
