He who has ears let him hear. Even Ken Saro Wiwa regretted before he died. Let us all learn even from recent history ala the case of Abiola.

Like I stated earlier on, Barcanista,
I would like to know your stand on subsidy removal.
Secondly, how was the availability of petroleum products during Obasanjo's era?
Apart from lagos and a few states how much was the real price out there?
Thirdly, even if the official price was #65, was it readily available? Did the unavailability of petroleum products affected our economy and general output during the said era.
Lastly, did the trend continue under Yaradua's government? Please, let us be civil in this discourse so that we will all know where our problems started from and how we can all solve it.

Go straight to your point and stop beating about the bush
Am not beating about the bush and since we are out to educate our people, it is better we educate them wholistically, the remote and immediate causes, loopholes and how it was/could be blocked.
Please, endeavor to answer my questions as it has a lot to do with our current discourse.

A man kills or is accused of murder, he is held in Prison on awaiting trial, government changed and a Kangaroo Corrupt Government came onboard and FREE every suspected fraudulent Officials and convicted ones. This is the true story of things. We all know what IBB represent, no wonder both of them are founding members of PDP. I would have believed Ekweme if he had given tangible explanation as to how $56,000 found its way into his house. That money in today's equivalent is about $56 million or there about. Ekweme is CORRUPT same with IBB
Do you see how shameless you are. How long was Ekwueme ( a nation' vice president) held in prison without trial? An innocent man that went into government and came out poorer.

Why are you APC supporters so ignorant and callous? Read what the Op posted and even called his fellow jan- jaweeds to come and comment on. So stewpid of him as he doesn't know about the workings of AMCON. What a shallow minded set of people.
PoliticsRe: Why Did Buhari Jail VP Ekuweme But Place President Shagari Under House Arrest? by warrior01: 7:35am On Nov 11, 2014
Buhari jailed Ekwueme because he believed that's where igbos nay Southerners belong. Buhari is a tribal and religious bigot and he will cry again cos free Nigeria belongs to all of us and not to a particular tribe or section of the country.

PoliticsRe: Dilapidated Alaba Int'l Market Road Ojo Lagos [PHOTOS] by warrior01: 7:50pm On Nov 10, 2014
Even with all the resources at his disposal, most parts of Lagos are nothing to write home about. Somebody should please tell Fashola that lagos did not start and end on the island or is this a federal road again?
PoliticsRe: Dilapidated Alaba Int'l Market Road Ojo Lagos [PHOTOS] by warrior01: 7:40pm On Nov 10, 2014

To me, there is nothing like Delta Igbo in Delta state. Delta state is Delta state and belongs to Delta people. So anybody who says he is a Delta Igbo in Delta state is an illegal immigrant in the state. The tribe known tribes in Delta state are the Uhrobos. Itsekiris and the Ijaws.
Don't mind those ignorant mofoos, they forgot Delta state capital is in Asaba, the land of the Uhrobos.
PoliticsRe: Seven Years Of Fashola: My Take Away (1) by warrior01: 11:12am On Nov 09, 2014
Aderostock:
The energy and synergy you are using to criticize Fashola and Lagos would have been used to make your state governor to sit well knowing fully well that Abuja, Akwa Ibom, Enugu, Cross river, etc have all banned the use of Okada on their major roads.
Sorry to bust your bubble; Fashola is my state governor and as a tax payer and a law abiding citizen, I have every right to criticize him on policies that negates the wholesome development of the state. With the recent oil windfall and unprecedented IGR, it is ironical, the poor in the state has multiplied. What's is the usefulness of banning Okada without a working alternative? What has the people living in mainland done wrong to deserve the kind of neglect currently being experienced? Please, what has he really done via his policies to protect the poor and the weak in the society? Sane argument please and no insults

PoliticsRe: Seven Years Of Fashola: My Take Away (1) by warrior01: 9:39am On Nov 09, 2014
How many people and families has the administration of Fashola lifted out of poverty in the last 7 years ?( a case of Okada riders and traders readily comes to mind) Rather, what we have is more people sinking back into poverty due to the policies of the state government which largely have negated jobs creation. More companies are going down due to double taxation from the state and local govts. The state of the roads are nothing to write home about especially the Trunk C roads. Some areas, deliberately maybe due to the parts majority of those residing there comes from (Ago Palace way). The fact is Fashola is no friend of the poor and from his actions and policies are subtly passing the message across.
TravelRe: 10 Unbelievable Photos Of Lagos You Will Mistake For London by warrior01: 8:58am On Nov 09, 2014
If this is what an oil rich Nigeria can come up with after so many years of Lagos being the Federal and commercial nerve centre of the country ( was the capital till 1993), Then it means we really lack class and taste. Slums and lack of good roads everywhere, no pipe borne water, no organised transport system, no proper housing system, elitist government etc. Truly, like someone said; eko o ni ogbanje.

PoliticsRe: Seven Years Of Fashola: My Take Away (1) by warrior01: 6:30am On Nov 09, 2014
Lobatan. Thank God for this wonderful piece. Presently in Lagos, the common man has never had it so bad but what we are having daily is a barrage of high end propaganda being orchestrated especially by the South West media; you dare not ask for accountability from their 'wonderful' son even as a tax payer. The fact is, Fashola perfomed below average even with the enormous resources at his disposal. It's tales of woes in Lagos for the common man and believe you me, 2015 will be very interesting in Lagos.
