Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba is willing to reach a compromise on his wages to secure a move to Real Madrid, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane, had voiced his admiration of Pogba since he returned to the Santiago Bernabeu in March.



Also United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has repeatedly stated his intention to rebuild his United side around Pogba.

However, the World Cup winner’s agent, Mino Raiola is said to be looking to engineer a move away for United’s record signing.

The President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has been cautioned against abrupt sack of the nation’s security chiefs.

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who handed this warning, said sacking security chiefs was not the panacea to the insecurity in the country.



The highly respected cleric gave this advice while speaking at the headquarters of RCCG, The Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta in Lagos, during a Thanksgiving service with the theme, ‘Victory over marital storm’.

In a chat with Sunday Scoop, she said, “There are some fields in the entertainment industry that men might look at and be afraid of getting married to the women there. Sometimes, they could get married to such women because of infatuation and the public image of the lady. For me, I feel it is harder to find a man now that I’m famous. I meet men who pay me compliments every day, but it’s harder for me because I don’t know their motives. Do you want me for who I am, or because of what you see on TV and social media? Because of that, I put up a wall because I don’t want to be used.



“However, I’m learning right now to drop the wall and take each day as it comes. I have been celibate for three years and I haven’t been on a date in a long time. This doesn’t mean that when I meet someone, I’m going to rush to have sex with the person. I’m going to be celibate until I get married because I know what I went through in the past three years. Sex is going to be like a reward for both of us after we get married. I went through a lot in my last relationship and that’s part of the reasons I’ve stayed celibate because I don’t want to be hurt like that again.”



On whether she is comfortable being a baby mama, Oputa said, “I am not open to having a child outside wedlock. It’s not like there is anything wrong with it. The governor of Kano State Abdullahi Ganduje has declared that the new law which establishes the creation of four new Emirate Councils in the state has come to stay as it is irreversible.

Governor Ganguje made the comments during a ceremony organized for the four newly appointed Emirs to express appreciation to the governor, held at Sani Abacha Indoor Stadium, Kano on Saturday.





This is despite the fact that a suit has been filed, and an order reportedly asking all parties to maintain status issued by a Kano High Court sitting at Ungogo on Friday, which granted an order restraining Governor Ganduje from taking any action to legitimize the new emirates of Rano, Bichi, Gaya and Karaye.....

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released results of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The results were released on Saturday.


The JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede also disclosed at the board’s headquarters in Abuja, that a staff member of the examination board, Mr Adamu Musa, allegedly collected N25,000 from an admission seeker in 2018.

The results released showed that about 1,792,719 candidates sat for the exams, while 34,120 candidates had their results withheld for examination malpractice.

The Registrar of the board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, further stated that 15,145 results were withheld for further clarification.

The 2019 UTME held between April 11 and April 18 in 698 computer-based test centres nationwide.

The board had said it was screening the UTME results for malpractices, saying 123 suspects had been arrested and were standing trial nationwide.

The wife of Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh, has been shot dead. According to multiple reports, Bettie Jennifer was killed by an unknwon gunman while leaving her office in Maryland in the United States of America on Friday evening May 10th at about 5pm.

Accoridng to reports, Bettie had left the office in the 6300 block of Ivy Lane and was walking to her car when a man armed with a handgun approached her. When she tried to run away, the man followed her and fired at her multiple times, with at least one shot hitting her.



The gunman then fled in a vehicle and has since been declared wanted by the Maryland Police.

Police described the suspect as “a black male with a think build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and pants.”

Chris Attoh and Bettie Jenifer married at a ceremony in Accra October 2018. This was shortly after divorcing his first wife, DamiloIa Adegbite, who he has shares a son with.

Just last week, Chris Attoh sparked speculation on social media that their marriage was in crisis after he deleted all her photos on his IG page.
